I remember the last game of the season in 1981. listening to the radio praying Ipswich lose there last match while Villa lose at highbury. All happening the same afternoon. Being a Villa fan requires stress management.
It would be just a luck, for Spurs to play way above their form, and scupper us. But at the end of day, it's up to us, to win our games..

I think without us being in Europe, we would have already achieved fourth, it's been a great season by our team.
38 game season never lies. However, and hopefully we’ve done enough and got the points on the board already. Might be good to limit the minutes of players coming back for Liverpool and have them as starters for palace if one final push is needed on the last day.😊
Sat watching a sport app yesterday for 35mins hoping for another team to do us a favour.. it’s a tedious and dubious endeavour relying on other teams ain’t it guys.. Dear Mr Klopp. Please can we have the 3 points at Villa Park tomorrow night? You don’t need them. Our current squad are absolutely exhausted and have done us proud these past 9 months and have lost the last 3 games. Tbh people were saying similar before the Arsenal game don’t write us off yet.
Really cant see us getting another point, Liverpool on a mini-run and Palace are currently playing like Real Madrid! Certainly we'll need a huge improvement over recent performances. Other than that, just relying on City to do us a huge favour.... Kinda resigning myself to 5th, frankly.
This was the most stressful one yet.
If the squad is so desperate.. Play Chambers in Kamara position ( player of ya for Fulham in the position) would strengthen defence from set pieces .. then you could play Mcginn further forward ,.

We did Man City a favour by beating arsenal which put the title back in their hands and so Man City owe us to beat spurs - mind you I would prefer us to do it ourselves
With all the injuries and the players on their last legs makes it hard to think we can get anything out of this game. But football can be a very weird game and we never know maybe the lads can give it one final push to get that 4th spot on our own and not rely on City. Tielemans and Rodger’s back would be massive but will they be ready that’s the question.
Sad to say, we've got nothing left. I'll be amazed if City make a mess of Tuesday night though.

Spurs are favourites for 4th when you look at the games - you know they'll show up vs City as per every year and there's almost no point in the Sheff Utd game. I can see Villa maybe getting a point from the next two games at most so it looks like Europa League - which is a dream when you think back to 2016!

We need arsenal to beat utd first for it to matter, should arsenal drop points at Old Trafford, it puts the spurs city game into different context and Spurs could aim for fourth without handing Arsenal the league.

Manchester city have lost away to Spurs in the premier league in the last 4 seasons,so although city are smashing it & Spurs haven't been great,I think we need a win from our last 2 fixtures to get us over the line. This task is looking unlikely going on recent performances & I'm not confident we will get anything from our remaining games, Liverpool seem to beat us at Villa park routinely & have only failed once in the last 10 years, Crystal palace are on fire right now & are taking teams apart for fun. Leaving our fate in others hands isn't a pleasant feeling & knowing our luck the worst might happen,so I hope our boys are up for these season defining end games & pull off something that seems unlikely given recent pathetic performance...... up the mighty Villa!!!!
We’ll draw against Liverpool and Man City beat spurs..the only worry Man City’s bogey ground is..spurs..they struggle in fact I don’t think they’ve actually won there so I’m told
