I'm glad you taught me the "feel" on how tight a bolt should be. Not only does it help with working on cars, but helps working on computers. It is one of those skills that you just have to do a whole bunch to get good at it. Haven't had to do it too much on cars lately, but use it all the time working computers with taking them apart and putting them back together.

Driving a car with 315k on it. My repair shop wont do a trans service anymore. They said i have to go to a tranny shop. I been told its do to the clutch material thats worn and in the fluid. New oil is thinner and wont take up the gap between clutches causing slippage and more issues. Just going to drive it until it decides it doesnt want to go down the road. But no payment and been a great car for the initial thousand dollar purchase. I have put almost 200k on it. I love all types of do it yourself videos thanks

Yes, if you have never changed the oil then you are better off leaving it be, I have changed mine every 50k and will continue to do so, I had a Lumina in the same situation you are in. It just keep going and going, Thanks for watching

I have a same problem with my 2011 to...when cold stop and drive give kick

I remove a cooling line and start the motor and pump the fluid out of the pan into a bucket until I hear the pickup start to cavitate. Then, when I drop the pan oil doesn’t gush out.
You can also flush a tranny by adding additional oil until new fluid pumps out.

The torqued is round 10 1/2 to 13 foot pounds on transmission pan bolt's

The rubber grommet on the dipstick/filler tube where it meets the transmission body likes to leak when it ages. Hard to find leak if you don't know about it.
