    You need to add an option for products that have different shipping rules so that you have the choice to add the shipping costs together or to select just the higher price one. If we have a customer who places an order for products from different product ranges that have different shipping rules the current system adds them all up and charges the customer the total. A simple tick box on the back end to stop this and to just select the highest priced option should be simple to add and make the whole process a lot better.

    It would be great if you could choose a Product Type or Collection when creating custom shipping profiles. Having to select individual products, even with the ability to refine through the search is extremely cumbersome for businesses with large product ranges.

    The UI for this is too tedious. We need to be able to duplicate them and even manage with csv, for example products per profile.

    There has been a lack of an upload option via Excel for years. I have several product variations, each product with its own different shipping method, according to size, weight and different shipping prices. It's tedious to set up profiles for each product, selecting the countries you don't want to ship to in each profile. There isn't even an option to duplicate. In the future I will change platforms due to many limitations, including, if I weren't a developer, I would have given up on the platform a long time ago, but I keep working around to make certain functions work.

      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi, Kito.
      Great question!
      To set up shipping for orders under $50, you'll need to create a flat shipping rate with a price-based condition. You can find more information + steps on how to do that here: shopify.link/M1Lb.

    One of the products I sell on my site are samples. Is it possible to have a custom shipping profile for when a customer is just buying a sample and another shipping profile for when a customer is buying a sample plus other items. Or can products only belong to one shipping profile?

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi, there!
      You can create custom shipping profiles for different products on Shopify. This allows you to charge different shipping rates for specific items. You can find more information here: shopify.link/wKRj.

  • @KimberlyHellstrom

    Just to confirm, each item has to be added to the specific shipping profile?

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 4 měsíci

      Hi, Kimberly! Yes, you would want each item to be in a shipping profile. That being said, all of your products are in your general shipping profile by default. You would only need to create additional custom shipping profiles if you need certain products to have different shipping rates or rules. This guide can help: shopify.link/wKRj.

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 6 měsíci

      Hi, Igor!
      Thanks for your question.
      Profiles are sets of rules for products and locations. Rates are costs applied to shipping based on these rules. You can find more information on how it works here: shopify.link/1PNM.

    I imagine most sales today are done through POD suppliers. Why is there no video on shipping automatically inserted from a POD into Shopify? I have looked for an hour on shopify and youtube. No one explain costs involved in only POD online sales shipping costs being automatically inserted into Shopify instead of setting up rates. The pricing page says it is only included if I spend 250 euros a month??

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 9 měsíci

      Hey, there! It sounds like you're referring to the carrier-calculated shipping feature, which is included in the Shopify Plus and Shopify Advanced plans. you can find more details about the feature and how to activate it here: shopify.link/m5Bk.

      I spent an hour on spotify and reading features. Just so I understand correctly. I have 1000 products i created on printify to start my store. I am just starting my business so zero income. I need to create 1000 times each set of shipping methods (countries, per quantity, etc.) with my shipping costs, for each of the 1000 products, or start a store with a 248 euro a month fee just to have the app insert the costs automatically?@@ShopifyHelpCenter

      I can add products automatically, and prices, but not shipping for free?

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 9 měsíci

      The carrier-calculated shipping feature can also be added to the Shopify plan for a monthly fee, but you can still run a print on demand store with low startup costs on the Basic plan by setting flat shipping rates instead of importing carrier rates from your supplier. Check out this guide for details on setting up flat rates: shopify.link/61ke.

    I have a question. I am have my own P.O. Box to use instead of my personal address. When I print out the shipping label it says location must include a street address to be used as shipping origin. I am using usps. Pls help

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 7 dny

      Hi there. That's a great question. When you are creating your shipping labels, you will need to have a return address that has a street address. For that reason you are not able to use a PO box for your return label. If you prefer not to use your home address for return labels you can look into Virtual Office Addresses, Fulfillment Service, or if you have any family or friends that would let you use their address.

    • @natayrie560
      @natayrie560 Před 7 dny

      @@ShopifyHelpCenter I’ve seen that other boutiques use P.O. Box address instead of home address for privacy. And I wanted to go on that same route.

    • @ShopifyHelpCenter
      @ShopifyHelpCenter  Před 7 dny

      Sorry about that, you can use Shopify Locations with carriers like USPS that do accept PO boxes. In order to change the return address on your shipping labels, you'll need to edit the "Shipping From" section in your Shipping settings. If you do not have two locations set up, you can follow this help doc to create your other location: shopify.link/1LQW.
      Once that is done, you can add your PO box to this location and then use it for your return labels. You will then need to change your location for your shipping labels. You can do that by going to Settings > Shipping and delivery in your Shopify admin. Under Shipping, find the shipping profile you want to edit. Click Manage next to the profile. In the Shipping from section, select the location you want to use for return labels. Then it's good to go. Please let me know if you have any questions.

      @@ShopifyHelpCenter just to make sure I need to have 2 address save on locations? That can be my personal home address and the P.O. Box? Then I can choose the option of P.O. Box for return and for the shipping labels ?

      That's correct! With the two addresses setup as locations you can choose between them when creating a return shipping label.

      @ShopifyHelpCenter We've been working on an issue with shipping rates for more than a week with your team but since Noone can talk to you it's a bunch of emails with not enough information to get through the issue and it is growing more frustrating by the hour. Sometimes going for hours or a day without any information, so we can NEVER recommend your company to anyone at this point. None of the information in this video matched our issue and was sent to us by your reps.

      Can you provide us with some details around the shipping issue you're experiencing in question? If you were provided this resource as a means to assist you, and it doesn't provide information that you're finding helpful, let the person that provided you this resource know so they can look into some additional options to help you resolve any shipping issues that you're experiencing! It's important to work with our Support Team, and let them know when they information they provide doesn't quite hit the mark, so they can provide you some information that better matches what you're experiencing.

      I appreciate that feedback. As per my previous message, are you able to provide us with some insight into the shipping issues you're currently experiencing? That information would be helpful for us to have in order to determine how we can best assist you.
