The personal sound profile is really game changing. Not everyone knows what they’re doing when tweaking a full equalizer like in BMW. Mercedes allows you to personalize the sound experience in a really unique way.

That's a nice sound system but I was distracted by how these drivers around you have no idea how to use the lanes, jesus christ just drive on the freaking left....

best way is purchase the base and build a system with your Hifi specialist.
This does sound way better than the W205' Burmester. The W205 is missing mid bass and low bass. And the W205 sound was more "behind" (it has not been able to get me to tap my feet or fingers, haha). The W206 is more up front or in your face like here.
Nice demo. I have the 2022 coupe with the vertical 10" screen, so while it seems to offer most of the settings for the music profile, I don't feel like it has everything that your sedan offers. Been on 94 many times, but didn't have a MB back then. Not sure I would have wanted to expose it to the winters or the potholes.
@DailyMotorSound how does this sound system compare to the tesla model y? It know the c class is a sedan and the y is a suv but it has the same speakers as the model 3

Actually I own a 2023 c220d but the bass is not that impressive, what upgrade should I do?
Simple questions: What is behind the door cards? Empty void allowing air to vibrate and distort? Can we find out what the car manufacturers put in for sound damping?

unfortunately not... as he said only two woofers and they aren't well integrated to the cabin.
Only the A, CLA, GLA/GLB, GT 4 door, SL and G Class come with a subwoofer for this smaller version of the two Burmester options
So if you aren't a bass head. It's a tier s system. Got it!

Dolby atmos is certainly not for cars
I know the Burmester system is different in the c-class is not as good as the higher end models. I have the 213 e-class with the standard burmester system and was always very unimpressed with the c-class burmester. I think the e-class's burmester is good enough but not truly spectacular. The "high end" offered in the E and the S one is much better. I had a couple of the new W206 C-class loaners with the new burmester and though it's better than the previous generation, it's just not good enough for a c-class. Actually, I truly hate everything about this generation c-class with it's cheap interior. I hope it's not an indicator of the quality of next-generation mercedes models - especially not the E! I think i'll be looking for a 222 S-class with the high end system for a second car.

You need to teach these other people how to record audio ! That first guitar piece sounded great ! Everybody else the audio sounds terrible !
Maybe Mercedes as a whole can't be S-tier anymore. It's more in the A+ tier.

I personally would choose Mercedes over Volvo.

I’ve been listening to burmester 3d in w222, and it was rubbish. It was one of the worst optional sound systems I’ve ever heard. Even BMW’s bowers and Wilkins is better.
If you want to hear some good sound systems, this is my rating
1. Meridian signature Range Rover l405 1700w
2. Burmester Hi End Porsche Cayenne 1055w
3. Mark lewinson surround reference 750w lx570
