i like jbl speakers but, i think that they should put their bluetooth speaker's drivers on toyotas, imagine a Jbl PRX one subwoofer, that thing goes loud!

I'm kind of impressed that they put a center channel and separate tweeters in a cargo van, to be honest. It's almost like a slight attempt was made.

This system is down graded and sounds worse with no bass or depth. I have 2014 GX and it rocks great. My husband got the new 2024 GX and it’s shallow with no bass or depth. Very disappointing! Sound system is a big thing for me and will probably shop elsewhere when I’m ready for a new vehicle

I bought the Land model for the 14 speaker audio and I was very unimpressed. My 2010 kia soul with an 8 speaker system bumped twice as much. Of course when you show hamsters driving to bass music then you have to deliver. They really went cheap with this meridian system. I get they want to conserve power for more range but there should be a toggle that we control that allows more power through the sub at the cost of range. The sub I think is 5 inches also which really can't get the low bass tones.

If you used acoustic music (particularly drums and guitar) to do these demos we might have half a chance of hearing the soundstage capabilities of these systems.

Strange that you brag about the sound system in this car, when several hundred who actually own such a car complain about the sound. Especially the lack of deep bass. The door basses only play mid-bass, and the rear case only contains an under-seat bass element. It plays so weakly that if you turn it off, you won't hear any difference.

Turning the bass all the way up is usually assured to cause distortion, though. You can't really ding it for being maxed out.

Not big on the sunroof and for the price of the upgrade I can install way better on my premium! IMO

Coming from a Bose system in my Colorado, I find the 6 speaker system in my 2024 XLT is just "good". I plan to upgrade all the speakers soon to try and get back to the accuracy experienced w/ my Bose system. Do you know if you can add the center channel speaker when upgrading?

Not really a comment about music or sound. But that screen. Man, that is one ugly setup. I'm not a fan of all these huge screens anyhow, but some are just better designed than others. This is certainly one of the "others".

So, compared to the regular Harman 4 or 3 series ICE, this is way better? Or similar?

How was your gas mileage during your test drive. Looks like 36 mpg?

If it does have the subwoofer, why doesn't their sound adjustments allow us to control the sub? I does in other vehicles and other hondas. I was in a loaner 23 RTL Ridgeline while Honda added my accessories, and I was able to adjust the sub bass level. It also sounded WAY better than my 24 TrailSport. If the TrailSport is a level above the RTL, why sound so horrible and have less control? At least thats my experience now.

So how did you rate this compared to the Bose system in the Canyon? Is that Bose system worth the extra $500?

No where as good as a aftermarket system you install yourself or have a good audio shop install, my system all Alpine top speakers and amplifiers, subwoofer, sound deading everywhere except the head liner make the B&O system sound like a 50's AM radio.

I’m slightly disappointed in the 3400 bowers and Wilkins system in my M850i. This system probably sounds better than my system 😢

It's definitely a step up from my 2LT basic 6 speaker system. It's pretty much lame compared to a kenwood excelon/Jl audio system. About 2 grand buys an aftermarket system far superior to Bose.
