Kingdom Come Deliverance - Escaping From Skalitz Before the Tutorial is Over!

- It is finally here! Time to Escape from the tutorial and Skalitz!
No longer will Henry be tied down by any quests!
Father can get his own ALE!!
And Kunesh, well we will just beat up Kunesh because we can. But we don't need the nails or the hammer, he can keep them.
Get Henry Higher than he has ever been! Happy 4/20 or 20/4, depends how you write your dates.
But here in this video Kingdom Come Deliverance has been broken. The exploit power of this video will be too much.
I have not fully realized what I can do in the game with this power of "beef jumping" but I see great things in the future. Henry the beef pope promises this!
Also I finally get to stop all the cumans and ride their horses on a merry go round.
Life is pretty good in this video :P
Henry is living the dream!
Now the problem comes, that the game is almost too broken doing this...so do be careful ;)
Also the title screen is from my own video of Skalitz when I turn the graphics on ultra. They look pretty nice, just wish my computer was able to handle playing in this mode. :(
Being broke is not a good combo for being a gamer. :(
But happy news is that Henry is free! - Hry
The Sigismund and his Cumans were all in Henrys head it turns out HE BURNED SKALITZ
It would be a good cover story to the King.
"But Sire, Sigismund and the Cumans burned down Skalitz, I am just a lowly blacksmith boy with the ability to teleport through floors."
Forget Henry of skalitz, we got Henry of schizophrenia lmao
sigismund ruined me
After 3 years, he made it. He saved the Skalitz
I like to think this Henry was just trying to save his parents.
Everyone else was expendable :P
@@helicalgoose Yeah that may be truth too. Epic video by the way man.
@@helicalgoose and Bianca
....... can someone tell those idiots to stop killing eachother on me the blood is disgusting
Henry: i can glitch out skalitz!
Theressa: hold my beer.
Maybe the Cumans were attacking Skalitz to capture Theresa.
The person able to teleport all through out the world!
It would be one of those twists if this was a high fantasy game, where you save Theresa, but really she was the villain all along and cumans were the true heroes.
@@helicalgoose Mistborn intensifies.
@@daydev2599 I was sort of thinking of Witcher 3 too. Sort of similar plot.
@@helicalgoose high fantasy KCD spin off
@@arkadiuszrenc1498 Witcher 3 being a KCD spin off? That is an interesting approach, but I feel that Witcher 3 is not clunky enough to be a spin off :P I need those game breaking bugs to happen.
But I would pay to have a low-mid or high tier fantasy KCD spin-off.
But I know that games like this take a long long time to make, so doubt I will be seeing any of my wish-list games anytime soon :(
fun fact: Skalitz isn't burning when the cumans attack, there's just a sreaming sound playing around the walls, but nothing else is happening
It is rather odd.
I would like to go back into the city and see like 20 Cumans just scouting around the town. But I know that any level 1 Henry without armor probably wouldn't be looking back in the city.
Heck, most of the time the cuman chasing you is too darn tough to get past.
Henry: I escaped Skalitz before the tutorial ended
Me: What did it cost?
Henry: *BEEF*
A mountain of beef and plenty of booze!
But in retrospect, I think 15-30 beef was all that was needed. :P
This dude: turns on his PC.
PC, KCD and Warhose studios: *intense sweating*
lol
my poor PC is sweating too much. This graphics card shortage or scalping is hold me back from buying a better PC for some better graphics and not so much chugging going on.
I mean I really wanted to do a sky-box test with all the beef, but my PC can't handle it currently :(
Someone else will have to take that glory.
@@helicalgoose I feel your pain. I'm worried this isn't going to end anytime soon
@@MCMXCDX I am slowly running out of things to do to break this game.
But then again i said that like a month ago.
But I do plan to do other videos too, not just KCD. I just been having fun making these videos so it has been hard to not make them.
@@helicalgoose my maximum fps at this game is 25, so don't you even dare to complain
@@schwarzesfleisch5809 No no, I dare not. The game is fun still with that, but goodness gracious is it annoying to try and do master strikes with lower fps.
Someday if you get the chance to play this game at 60 fps, you will find the game much easier and more enjoyable without the textures looking all like one single color :P
By God, he's done it.
The terror of Skalitz is free to terrorize the rest of Bohemia now!
YES!!!
Who would have known that Henry could have saved all people in Skalitz by simply escaping a little earlier.
If only they gave more beef to Henry sooner, he would've left them in peace. :P
"You're a wizard, Henry."
Henry finally got to go to Hogwarts!
@superfluous
interchangeable I do not have a console, so I can not say 100%
But, the mechanics are the same from I can tell.
The best way to see if you're on console is to start out small as in Ledtcko or however it is spelled. Try going up one level.
If it can happen there, then the rest is possible.
Takes a little to get use to, but once you get in the flow then no spot is out of your reach.
Well except invisible walls, but that is a different story.
@superfluous
interchangeable Ah, the cows at Skalitz provides all the beef you will ever need :P
They respawn infinitely! Kill a couple of them and that is more beef than you can carry.
No need to spawn anything, just enjoy the beef that is provided :P
Henry:i can glitch out of skalitz
Theressa:same
This part really baffled me!
I wish I had a Woman's Lot installed at the time, I wonder if her interaction would be different. Most specifically if I did not have the nails on me at the time then talked to her.
I really need to go back to do that, but I would have to rebuild Henry from scratch to find out. I sort of took the nails at the very start so all my saves are bunk >.
Clearly Skalitz was Henry's prison.
By the way, it would be wise to escape from Skalitz just before quest with nails. This nails are portkey (another thing from the universe of harry potter) and Theresa is able to activate it. So you can bring some beer with other goods for father and have a little journey, doing whatever you want. It will provide an opportunity to enjoy the pre-invasion world without game crashing, what happens in case of leaving through the mill.
It would be great to do this :)
The problem I had testing this out is that if you do all the quest for father, then leave the town before giving the nails to Theresa, she is actually gone from Rattay.
But if you have all the items then use Theresa for the portal home, you still fail the quests and then the game breaks.
So, it is a fun to do, but it is a game breaker for certain. I got to find a way to get back into Skaltiz, but honestly it is nothing too fun I can do around there.
congrats, you’ve completely failed the game. you deserve an achievement for it.
I did not know this was possible at all.
The game was sort of just threw it's hands in the air and said screw it, you just go play the game however you like :P
1:15 : "Oi Henry, I let the neigbor borrow my laddar can you do that thing you do?"
*takes a swig of schnapps*
*Popeye the sailor man music starts playing out of no where*
You know this brings up a good point. Is this just Henry's hidden ability that the devs just didn't tell anyone about?
some would say: KCD is a perfect Game with NO exploits!

@@helicalgoose *reads title, opens video* Wait they’re in a medieval village? OH GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THOSE COWS
OMG, I've been watching your videos forever and this one definitely made me SUB! You're a freaking MAGICIAN (with INSANE amounts of patience)!!!
Ah many thanks! And I hope you use the beef stacking technique to good use in your playthroughs :D
I've been binging your KCD videos and this one is the most hilarious I've seen by far. I literally lol'd when you found Terresa and give her the nails LOL
Definitely worth a sub
Ah many thanks!
Honestly I was not expecting that to happen with Theresa, I was baffled!
Then when it kicked me back to Skaltiz I had to take a little break to try and think what just happened :P
This is awesome! I haven't seen your videos before but this was really great, seeing Theresa in Rattay instead of Skalitz almost made me spit out my water lol! Keep up the good content.
Thanks :)
And seeing Theresa there too broke me. I think I cut out about 5 minutes of me being broken seeing her in Rattay.
Like, what...why are you here. Why are you not at your house! Don't you need to get nails from me pretty soon?
But thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it :)
You’ve tipped the scale that balances this world. Beautiful
The Cumans were just OP.
Henry just made the Cumans never appear...
perfectly balanced...
Decided to subscribe after watching this video. Just bought this game last week and was determined not to leave the tutorial area without level grinding, looting everything, and not kill named NPCs. Had lots of restarts because I wanted to use the broken poo + catchpole quest and am starting to get tired of it all, but your video was an inspiration. 😊 Thanks!
Yah that broken poo quest is a fun one, I couldn't believe that a tutorial level was broken at that part.
Most of the quests in the game at the start were well planned out and had extra lines made just in case crazy things happened.
But here, it was like ooo Joanaka or whatever her name is missing, well have free time stabbing these immortal people :P
But thanks for the sub and hopefully the rest of the content lives up to your expectations :D
Bro, when you met theresa and then telephoned from Rattay to Skalitz, that was shocking. I never expected that in the slightest
Same here! 100%
I have done this again when not recording trying to find a way to "exploit" this.
However, Theresa is only there before you talk to your dad about the sword.
After the sword and you have to get the nails for her, she lives up in Skalitz and no longer in Rattay.
Not even a body double which is strange.
Strange because everyone else in Skalitz has a body double in Rattay.
There are four characters that come to mind that do not have a body double, Theresa, Johanka, Matt and Fritz.
And if I could find a way to bring back a knocked out body double out of Skalitz to Rattay or vice versa, I would totally do it!
But getting out of Skalitz is easier than trying to get back into it.
Excellent!! xD I was waiting for something like this for a long time!
It was only a matter of time before I could get out of Skalitz!
If I had to ram Henry's head through a wall to get out, I would've done it!
@@helicalgoose Your patience is incredible! I always wonder how people come up with such crazy ideas.
Mann Henry turned into one crazy teleporting Bastard 😂
Henry is a wizard now!
I thought i missed this awesome video for years but thank god it was uploaded just 9 hours ago. I love these playing-as-not-intended gameplays.
What if someone made a game like that.
Where you had to "break the game" to progress or get to hidden achievements.
I mean these bugs are not so bad. Its not like I can speed run the whole thing using these methods.
*Checks his save files*
No no, you can't, not yet.
@@helicalgoose Nah, that wouldn’t work. All the excitement would be gone. Btw. i‘m currently rewatching all your videos. A really funny thing to do is... during the drinking in Ushitze, you beat the bailiff unconscious and quickly take all his clothes. He then attends the church next morning in his underwear.
@@Mx6Own0r That is not a bad idea.
I have a couple thoughts on how to break that sort of thing.
In the past I have tried maxing out drinking and doing that event, but apparently your drinking level does not change the cut scene, which is a shame.
But I will keep that in mind with the people in the event, that is not a bad idea.
*writes down evil thoughts*
@@helicalgoose I‘m currently on my 28th playthrough. This time i try to break the game by getting drunk. For example i escaped Wranik by drunk-teleporting into my bed. Zbyshek can eat shit lol
@@Mx6Own0r lol, does that actually work?
I actually have been going slowly with my character trying to do the drunk to bed challenge to get past stuff.
Apparently, the black out thing is useless at the tutorial until you get to Rattay.
You get super drunk, but never blacked out.
I am glad to hear it works on the later missions :)
The bad part is that it takes soooo long to black out that it is almost useless IMO.
This is the most hilarious content ever. One of the few genuine times I actually ROFLd. Breaking this game is peak amusement
This is hilarious😂
Love stuff like this, especially when I did it in Cyberpunk
Cyberpunk has beef that you can use to jump over things?
I have not played Cyberpunk before, I might have to give it try someday when I get an updated video card.
Someday...
It's probably because you haven't made the sword. If you escape after you make it, but before you hand over the nails, you can probably continue the game as normal.
You know, that is a great idea, I like the thinking, because those small details are key for breaking the game further ;)
But if my memory serves me right, I believe I have done this already in a video (Breaking into Sir Radzig's Castle).
I believe I remember that I specifically said "Hi" to Theresa during that time as she was waiting for the nails.
Thought, I did get really excited for this comment because for a minute I was like Yes YES! This could be it!
But I remember the game does not progress there since there are no quest markers. You can go into Talmberg normally and Rattay nothing to keep the game going sadly. You need to give the nails to Theresa :(
@@helicalgoose Yes, what I mean is that once you make the sword, you can probably give her the nails in Rattay, then get teleported to Run! and continue the game as normal.
I've never actually escaped Skalitz, so can't confirm whether it works or not. I can't run the game to test right now.
I have jumped over the fence before you get shot in Run! though. Time never advances, and you can go anywhere. You do get hungry, but never sleepy.
@@S2Tubes Ooohh, that is some big brain plays there.
When I get a chance I will have to do that again.
The biggest problem is that you have to run all the way to Rattay (or Talmberg if you want to steal Sir Robards slow horse).
I did this once before and died trying to go down a hill close to Rattay.
I was pretty miffed at that point and did not bother trying to do this again to test out the Theresa teleporter :P
but thanks for the idea and encouragement ill give it another shot. If anything it is fun to see it happen again.
Oh Henry you got me. I had to subscribe :D
Didn't think this would ever happen. Great work!

I just happened to get pretty lucky in finding this little bug out ;)
So glad you posted it
This was a fun one to finally get over with.
I put out so much beef, I was starting to get cramps in my poor fingers lol.
I need to invest into a macro for this.
Escape from BEEF MOUNTAIN!
Beef Mountain traps us, yet sets us free!
Henry: i feel quite hungry: also Henry : getting stuck in the roof of someone's house
All the beef in the world and Henry still gets hungry.
Also Henry has to be that one kid from the villager that everyone knew was special. Like getting stuck in their roof special.
This would be the parallel universe, when the Sigismund won the battle of Nicopolis
Just one Bohemian lad going crazy with cows, beef, and no wars at all.
Actually, this is the peaceful option for Henry. Little unorthodox, but a better option for Bohemia.
I’m going to make a beef monument to your hard work. That was great hahahah
Pictures are a must, especially if you have a 3090X video card.
My poor computer could only handle like 1500-2000 beef before it said screw you guys, I am going to bed.

Invisible walls at 9:07 if you've played Metro Exodus (which otherwise is a great game) it's plagued with invisible walls in places you (or *I) think you should be able to go.
"Only about 100 to 150 beef" Oh, that's good, that's perfectly sane :D
I love that symbol for when you over eat in the game.

Beef tower LOL... and you saved them, Thanos style (when he gets pissed off)
I'm subscribed to you but only now saw your vid on the homepage.
I have heard and seen Metro but never played it.
Don't know why, the game seems cheap enough, but I just have not played a shooter in a long time now that I think of it.
But invisible walls are just impossible to deal with. I am not a total fan of them either unless they are like natural boundaries like mountains or the walls in Skalitz, like they do belong there.
But they do screw with me trying to break the game :P
Epic vid good job 👍

This was a good feeling to finally escape the tutorial :P
I would love it if this was deliberate in the game design. like 'We should let players climb anything but they have to use beef'. Its Monkey Island-eque
I would love it if that was the case.
They do have a bunch of Easter eggs in the game, it could fit in one of their meeting where everyone got really drunk and starting talking about possible things to add into the game :P
They just enabled collisions of objects for fun! And it works!

Wait...*starts pouring out drinks*
So... what does Rattay look like without Skalitz refugees? You know, instead of talking to Theresa.
It is strange, but all the Rattay people that survive are there already.
It seems that Warhorse did not think it was possible to escape from Skalitz and had the body doubles already in Rattay.
So the town looks exactly the same as if you first arrive. Sir Radzig is already there too :D
Just wanted to let you know that I was one of the people who watch your videos and wasn't subscribed, and I'm sorry for that. Done it now thou
Hey no worries about that. I am just glad to have people to talk to about KCD and possibly other things.
I know I didn't subscribe to a lot of channels I watch, but then just learned it was like eh screw it, it is free to do and also it tells me usually when new videos do come out from them.
Most of the time I am not disappointed by the choice :)
Thanks for subscribing :)
I made it out with the beef jump and went to monastery and killed everyone, except the Pior and Pious since he wasn't there. Then I beef jump again to come back to Skalitz and continue the story as normal. I am excited in seeing what will happen to the monastery quest😂
That is insane! I do like how you were like "screw the monastery, I am heading there first!"
But as a real question, where did you beef jump to get back into Skaltiz? I really tried hard to get back into the village, because of all the invisible walls around the place I could never get Henry back into Skaltiz.
Escaping is the easy part, coming back is the tricky part. Sort of poetic for this game :P
Mind blown! nice work.
Thanks :)
Give it a try sometimes. It is a little tricky, but it does work.
I find that wedging yourself in a tight area helps the best, so the meat does not push you all over the place instead of sending you straight up.
@@helicalgoose Where do you get so much beef from in Skalitz?! I play on console so if its a mod I wont be able to ... but might try the crouching/save trick elsewhere.
@@Gimboid79 Ah, in my first video about Max leveling in skalitz uses the cows in Skalitz.
Those cows spawn infinity so you can farm them all you want :)
They should be along the wall and will pop out at you sometimes. They are a tricky bunch but they do spawn there for all your beef needs :)
And someone told me that they have been trying on a console, but its a bit tricky as I said before.
On PC I am able to turn down the "physics" tab which changes the interactions between items, which gives you these strange stacks sometimes.
But I tried on higher settings and was still able to get this. Not certain how the consoles are set compared to PC settings, but if it runs the Medium of PC it is still possible, just more fist shaking.

Would be cool if you find the developers room
I have always heard there is a developer room in games. But I am not sure if there is one here.
If there is, someone has to tell me where it is located then I might be able to try. But some spots are really tough to get to.
This time you truly broke the game. Well played
As someone else mentioned in the comments.
Henry didn't like having quests always in front of him, so he eliminated the quests, once and for all...
When you gave Teresa the nails I lost it 🤣 😂
I am glad you agree!
I totally lost it too! I was not expecting anything like that, or expecting to find her there. She was not at her house in Skaltiz so I was thinking well she is not loaded in the game, but for some reason she lived there in Rattay, then gives you a magical teleport :P
Sorry to report, he hasn't really saved Skalitz. I've been there irl but the only thing remaining is a few stones from the Castle walls. Oh and there is a forest right over the river. Goota' time travel with 298 pieces of beef.
I guess I got to send Marty Mcfly back with Doc Brown with a ton of beef and tell them to find a guy call Henry. He will know what to do ;)

The saviour of Scalitz.😅 great job turning an RPG into a real Open World. 😂😂😂
It was only a matter of time :P
If they had some form of building in this game, we could turn it into a true free-play sandbox mode doing this.
So, can you thanks this method max more stats in the prolog? Is it possible to do "Kunesh quest", buy charcoal, bring ale, then start
prepering Radzik sword and when father ask about bringing nails - go and escape from skalitz doing beef jump, explore world map, colect belladonas, make tons of savior snapps, horse riding, hunting etc. then go to Ratay talk to Theresa teleport to Skalitz with her, finish prolog and start game with the best possible stats start:)
The second part of the video kinda happened to me on my first playthrough. Cutscene, quest failed, no other quest, no cutscenes. I thought this was normal and tried to fight all the cumans until I googled a little bit and realized I had to do it all over again.
It is quite surprising that the quests are setup like that, if one mainline quest "fails" the game just shuts down completely, like no one wants to talk to you or anything.
I am subscribed xD
Thanks :) Much appreciate that!
*Pops party favors all around*
In KCD there's no magic, just beef.
Henry lives in a universe where everything is made up of beef at the molecular level and produces magical results :P
Drunk Stepbrother saves Skalitz.
Who says you can't drink your problems away ;)
This is your best yet. I wonder if the chase music kept playing in this mood. "where's the beef"
I believe the answer to "where's the beef" is now all stored in Henry's pockets and a tower in Skalitz.
i like to think the people of Skalitz were whispering about Henry behind his back, talking about how his unhealthy obsession with beef.
Also the strange smell of rotten beef coming from the tower near the center of town.
I love it, absolutely breaking the whole game xd
I believe that Beef Jumping is going to wreck a lot more in the game than I thought was possible.
I have a couple things in mind that is going to screw with the game.
@@helicalgoose Awesome, can't wait!
@ Same here.
The big problem I am having is that it seems the devs has "beef" proofed" the area I want to go to break the game.
Eh I will see what I can do. Hopefully it works out sometime this week. Got to do more experiments.
This was awesome! I wonder what happens if you leave and come back.
I am sort of working on this right now.
I have a feeling the game probably took all the NPCs out during this time. But, I will give it a try to see what is going on.
It will be a bit tougher since going over invisible walls is impossible. And going over the roof of the tower is a heck of a moon shot.
I am sort of afraid that Henry might get himself killed to be able to clear that.
@@helicalgoose I remember that in KCD speedrun there was a strat that allows you to go through walls when dismounting a horse, maybe you should try this to get into the towers
@@the_Leszcz Thanks for the hint.

You can never escape. You can only move south down the coast.
lol, well true you can never truly escape.
But at least you can go back to Rattay to say hi to all the doppelgangers
They will build a "Beef Tower" in today Czech Republic for your honour xD
lol, that would be one heck of a BBQ/cook off!
No one will leave hungry after that! Not even Henry! :P
OK, it seems Saklitz was attacked because a woman wanted to have fine nails. So the trigger for war in the middle ages was not gold, honor or money, it was just - nails!
You know that is a great point, never thought about that!
Like, why was Skaltiz already on fire after giving her the nails.
Maybe the nails are from the the "True Cross of Jesus" or something like that, and everyone is on the hunt for them :P
Wow, who knew this was possible. And I am surprised of the outcome lol.
Theresa surprised me at the end for certain!
I was shocked like how was this a thing! :P
A great strat for speedruning.
I do wonder if it counts as a speed run if there are no more quests in your log book. Technically the game is over?
But sadly lot of the ending quests are chained so its hard to skip a bunch of quests to use this technique for a solid speed run. Useful in a couple cases, but I haven't figured out how to use it to full potential.
4:42 what does it take Henry to get higher? That is a question we don't want answered

@@jessemazo4791 Sort of.
Depending how the physics of the game calculates the beef under you when you save can send you straight up or either flop you back to the ground.
In the time since this video I realize that using less beef is better.
If you're going up a single level use about 10-15 beef.
If you're trying to reach the roof, around 15-20 beef and adjust plus or minus 5 beef.
The hard part is surviving the fall from the roof to the ground if you do not have the "feather fall" perk. But as long as you do not get bleeding damage you will be great :D
The game becomes more broken videos after videos
I like to think that I am just showing extra features to play a good old game ;)
If Henry is part of Skalitz, Skalitz gets destroyed. If Henry becomes a Cuman, Skalitz is saved. I see a pattern.
Does this mean Cumans were good for Skalitz and Henry was the true villain all along? Uh-oh
Theresa can Time Travel forward!! and Henry get put back into burning SKalitz! i did it with cheat mod and teleported to Rattay, same thing happened!
You're correct!
I was going to show me going to Rattay to check out the town, and thought to go to jail and well opps. Yah you get burned to death there.
So, moral of the story. Do not commit a crime (or get caught) in Skalitz if you're doing this.
But Theresa is a WIZARD too!
The power of beef! ^^
Beef is truly over powered and underrated. ;)
You should try to get in the skallitz keep.
Ah you most definitely can :D
I have a video on that, you can get in there anytime, before the castle burns down and after.
A little beef jumping goes a long ways ;)
Highly doubt you will see this as this video is so old. I have a question about beef jumping so i know you crouch and place the beef one by one. However when your done with that do you need to make a save before closing your inventory and reload it or do you just close the inventory and your ontop of the beef?
Yes, you will (for best results) need to save before closing your inventory otherwise the beef will start moving around.
If you're quick or get lucky with a huge pile of beef then you can exit the inventory and save, but I found that it works better with popping a savior potion while still in the inventory.
Also, do not be afraid to retry the old save if it does not work out the first time. I found that the game physics calculate differently each time. Sometimes you will fail to escape then reload that same save and the pile of beef is perfect for your escape :D
@@helicalgoose Thank you so much! I will give it a try when i play later.
:D no problem, I usually check out the comments here and there, if you need any tips to make this work, don't be afraid to ask.
They didn't patch this out quite yet!
Stop! You violated the law! No breaking games on my watch!
I am seriously jealous of your user name.
Then I guess I’ll let you off the hook for now citizen. But no funny business.
@@imperialguard5515 I subscribed to you, just because I want to see your antics on other comment threads.
I believe you have a great power and responsibility to the internet.
Thank you citizen. You too have earned yourself a subscriber.
i dont know how i did it but you can also clip though walls using the power of the beef. i was trying to escape from skailtz as well in the same tower and i dtopped arouind 30 beef and it pushed me outside the walls..... this games broken
Nice find!
I think, it might have something to do with the front gate (if you did the beef jumping near there).
It seems those gates that do "open" later on are not deemed to be "invisible wall" sort of deal but a an object that can be interacted with.
A similar one is up in the village Pribyslavitz before you do the battle there. There is a door to the church you can not normally open it.
But! You can battered it down with enough beef and it will push you through. So maybe something like this happened to you?
If so, this is a much safer option than going through the roof, because then you do not break your legs on the way down ;)
I just realized the fireplaces in houses are made of wood... how the heck does that work?
Yah, that is sort of strange. Like, there has to be a reason for that right? Or did the game freak out a bit?
You’ve literally broken the game. Such a delight to witness.
Ah escaping Skalitz was the best thing that could happen. Also the beef jumping lets you break other parts of the game.
Overall it makes the game quite a bit more interesting. :D
Why didnt you talk to miller peshek instead in Rattay? Give it a try (ps love your content and the hardcore henry series)
From what I can remember there was no option to talk to him or either it was generic dialogue.
It seems most of the NPC quests do not start until after the main story starts, so you can't really do any quests until you go back into Skalitz which is a tricky thing. Sad though :/
Glad you're enjoying the hardcore Henry series ;)
8:35 is what the video titled is about, the rest is lol'ing about random buildings he's in, unable to get over how hilarious it is to glitch
Pretty accurate :P
I would encourage to watch the first 1:30 mins to get the jist of the basic way to glitch it.
But thanks for the time marker that works :)
@@helicalgoose Right but if you watch guide videos its titled then explained in the following footage. Go here for X. It doesn't help anyone clicking on the video for the exact details to have to sit and watch minutes of game footage not related to the title exactly. It is disingenous to have such a long video "LOL'ing" in Rattay about a Skalitz escape.
@@PaladinPumph Fair enough. I sort of get what you're putting down.
My thoughts when making this video was to put down the basic footwork for how to do glitch getting up to other buildings.
Because without that, you can not escape Skalitz anyways.
I thought to show 2-3 examples [I cut about 8 of them I had for an original video before I found a way out of Skalitz]
Once people seen that it can be done, then lead them back to Skalitz to show that the trick still works, but has limitations.
I showed that piling bodies and items sort of works to get you stuck in areas to do the trick, but still fails to get you out of Skalitz.
But then I showed the final piece of the glitch that gets you out of Skalitz, which happens at the 8 minute mark.
I was honestly, not trying to be disingenuous, but it was just how the layout of the video came about just by my thought process.
The laughing all about mostly came after the glitch shown.
I was not really trying to make a true guide if that makes sense, because those videos should always be short and to the point.
This was just more an entertainment video.
If you have any suggestions to make the video setup work a little better I am interested. I am not out here trying to trick people and if I did, I do apologies not my intention.
I say those 4 Cumans were scouts and by killing them you saved Skalitz.
Yay! Henry's murder spree saved everyone! :D
Helicat: I'm just gonna get to places you would normally be unable to do
Also Helicat: 5:12
Sometimes mass murder is just necessary to get to special places ;)
Okay so, what if i want to do this without breaking the game? Any way to come back inside the walls and continue the quests as normal?
You can, but its really tricky.
The main problem is if you wanted to make money and come back.
While you're out of the village all the NPCs vendors do not regenerate groschen. There are no random road events, so no bandits to plunder. You can not get any main story quests (not certain on side story quests).
Also, you're doing this with no fast travel, so until you get a horse you can afford its a bit difficult to lug things with you. But, BUT!
You do bring up an interesting point how to make some crazy skits in Skaltiz village of Henry being decked out with a brand new horse ect which could make for some silly interactions.
unlocked the secret sandbox mode
The answer was beef all along! Who knew!
omfg i have alzheimers. I was rewatching this video and thought about commenting exactly the same thing, scrolled down and stumbled upon my own comment hahaha
Can you go to Rattay before going back to Skarliz? And if so, could you give the sword back early?
The answer is no on giving back the sword part.
Sir Radiz is at Rattay somehow...but he nor anyone else wants to talk to you.
I did in another video bring back the sword but waving it at him does nothing.
Such a shame, that could've been the game over in record fashion. Also maybe complete the sequel that has not come out yet.
@@helicalgoose thx that question was bothering me for a while now .
@@felixw8711 Yah it is rather anti-climatic :(
I am certain the devs did not intend for you to be able to get around the cumans but heck stuff happens.
I know there are a few cut scenes they rendered that I still have not seen if you do certain actions.
So they did plan for things to go side ways sometimes. But my assumption is that they ran out of time while making the game and probably had more important things to do like, fixing the bugs before release.
*drops 500 beef*
"You activated the perk Burgher."
See what you did there :)
I like to think that this was intentional, but one of those funny things that just happened! :P
Hello.I would love to see what is in all the chests in the house opposite the inn in Skalitz. Can you record this? Please :)
You know I would like to as well.
That house across from the Inn, those two places are the only place I have never been.
I have taken the key from just about everyone in town and none of them opens the doors.
You have to get lockpick to a "hard" level to open them, but I have not even tried to do that.
My guess is that the loot is standard and nothing too special.
If I can get into the bottom one, then I could get into the top floor by using the beef technique.
I will see what I can do, because I think after the tutorial, those buildings you can't get into anyways, so it is not like I can come back later to deal with that hmmm.
Anyone knows if there is anything good in those buildings or just the standard loot?
@@helicalgoose I understand. It's very interesting. To be honest, I just want to know what's in the room downstairs to the right.Greetings.
@@SonofSkyrim01 I will take a look into what I can do.
I found a couple "hidden" rooms in Skalitz using the beef jumping, but there was not anything interesting in there.
I suspect the same might be true for that room.
If I find myself in Skalitz again for awhile I will give it a good shot :)
I feel like I worn out a lot of options in Skalitz that I might need to go away from it for a little :)
I only have a small question @helicalgoose, and that is: how did you get the "alphamale" modifier while you did all of that? Theresa didn't even talk to you... I hope it has nothing to do with all those murdered cows..... hehehe
Haha, hopefully Henry was not going after the cows to get the alpha male perk ;)
But when I escaped from Skalitz there really is not a way to save the game easily/cheap.
You can not sleep so the Inn is not an option and the only quick way to drop a save is at the baths.
What I think I did was hobble my way to the Talmberg baths and got Henry a save there for 30 groschen I believe.
Cheap and fast. But that is most likely where the alpha male came from.
@@helicalgoose I didn't know there was a bath house inside Skalitz
@@MatureGamerHD There isn't, but if you beef jump and escape skaltiz, you can walk yourself over to Talmberg and use the baths there.
@@helicalgoose guess since there were no other objectives, Henry had to occupy himself with something... He is a man after all
That actually sounds like the life.
Nothing in the quests logs, nearly unlimited wealth and time.
Well, back to the bathhouse.
love this game, waiting for part2 but u.... u got too much freetime^^
Part 2? Sort of like Breaking back into Skalitz? lol :P
I think I could redo this video quite a bit, especially with the newer computer and better understanding how Beef Jumping works. Though it might awhile when we would see such a thing.
you achieved a truce
*Starts playing Spongebob*
We save Skalitz Patrick!
to save all that schnapps, doesnt it work with save/exit?
It does too.
The only problem is that it kicks you out of the entire game then you have to reload the whole game.
Back when I had the older PC this would've taken awhile to do instead of just using all those schnapps. But it is possible with either way.
Name the glitch after a Primus song called Shake Hands With Beef. I'll subscribe if you do! (even though I already subscribed)
It's weird that you were able to talk to Theresa, because when I recently managed to glitch out I couldn't interact with her at Peshek's mill. Wondering if you had progressed the quests up to the point where you were supposed to give her the nails. The one NPC I was able to talk to was Kunesh in Rattay. He had the dialogue as if still in Skalitz, which was really weird considering he was in both Rattay and Skalitz. Some weird stuff going on.
Ugggh, I messed up.
Primus always has those song titles that just fits anything. Great band too lol.
Now with Theresa I did have the nails on me. I sort of just took everything out of the chest when I took the save potions from home.
The nails were already in there :)
And Kunesh is a strange one lol.
I was going to try to kill him in Rattay and get back into Skalitz, but that would've made the video waaaaay to long. And also I don't think the pay out is that good.
But you're right, there are clones out in the world roaming the world, sort of like a Fallout 4 sort of deal.
@@helicalgoose I love me some Primus. Been struggling badly lately, and their music helps quite a lot.
Maybe that's why I didn't have any dialogue, maybe I didn't have the nails though I don't remember if I took them or not. Maybe it doesn't matter how much of the Unexpected Visit quest you do if you have the nails then glitch out and talk to her.
You could always do another video showing off all the clones. You already showed Theresa, but you could show the others. There's the refugees in Rattay. Johanka will be in Sasau, and most likely Matthew and Fritz too. Matthias is most likely in Merhojed. I think the Skalitz castle guards (forget their names) are in Rattay too.
It would be interesting to see how the game handles approaching the other quest NPCs outside of Skalitz. I've been trying to get out again using your method so I can check it myself, but I seem to completely suck.
@@Max-ui7yf If it helps out a bit, I find that bringing the graphics/physics all the way down seems to help out a bit.
Also I am not certain if there was a secret patch, because I am now having a slight problem doing the same thing again.
Some of my saves with meat mountain does not put me on top, but i think this has to do with the physics I have loaded in the game.
I think the lower graphics/physics causes more spacing for the beef to stack straight up and makes you get up.
I am not certain with the Skalitz people on the outside.
Even if you kill them they sort of just respawn I believe so it is not as fun as I thought it would be.
Not certain what I can do currently that would screw with the game later on.
@@helicalgoose I'm playing on Xbox, so that means those settings don't exist. The problem I'm having is the same, I don't end up on top of the meat. I can get to the upper level of those guard huts just fine, but after that it isn't working. I wanted to try more, but dropping items one at a time on consoles is pretty annoying lol.
I thought I had found another method several days ago using a corpse, a small hollow spot at the bottom right corner of the northeast gate and a properly timed save, but after getting that to work twice in a row I can't replicate that either.
The way it worked was I pushed the corpse through until I got it outside the wall as much as possible, then tried to pick it up which temporarily clips you through the wall. Saving at the right time then reloading put me outside the wall, but like I said I can't replicate it now.
As for the Skalitz people, I guess Theresa might be the only interesting one since it can lead to some weird stuff. I think even if any others do anything weird, it won't have much affect since their roles in the beginning are mostly minor in terms of the quests.
@@Max-ui7yf You know that corpse glitch I think I have experience something similar before.
It is something I have been working on, it is just slow and requires something strange.
The problem with it, is that it does not work (or I don't think) with invisible walls.
However, it might work with just house walls, that are locked. I have to test this out more, but most of the quest areas I know about have these invisible walls around it, so I sort of gave up trying to do that.
I might pick it up again to see if a combo of that would work.
And from what I can tell Theresa can't be hurt.
In that video when I met her one of the first things I tried was to attack her.
I cut that part out since it sort of did not go so much with the flow of the video. But she is immortal. :(
The other characters I think you can kill outside in the free world.
The thing is that you have to get out of Skaltiz, kill those people. Ride back to Skalitz and try to get back inside.
Something I have not been able to do quite yet.
The beef jump has changed or either my graphics are the wrong setting. Because it is acting stranger than it use to, or either I have been trying tougher places to attempt this at.
If the game continues to be that buggy, Preston from Fallout and courier from Skyrim appear to seek out Henry.
I like to think that Todd Howard is following this series in secret with his staff going...
"Write that down, Write that down!!"
They're looking to add new bugs to Fallout 76 ;)
i did this buy drinking a savior near the fence near the cows so i looked up if anyone else had done it and here i am lmao
Ah yes, and it is actually quite useful to use in the game to get into some interesting areas :P
You got trapped bro! Teresa trapped you!
She knew that Henry was the real threat!
