Omg, those prices. Btw... $1 in 1960 is worth $10.48 today. So even if you accounted for inflation, an after-hours event with adjusted equivalent historical pricing would be a steal.
"Food Fax by Max".... LOVE! Especially the ones connected to Disney! More please!
Woohooo!
Would love to hear more of these food facts about Disney, in longer format like this!
Casa de Fritos was THE BEST... to me as a little kid. I used to get the combo plate. And, the obligatory bag of Fritos purchased from the mechanical Frito Kid. And, your idea of a throwback nite after hours is inspired. Count me in Max.
Ah that sounds so fun!
It’d be amazing to have a Throwback Disney Food night and feature not only Doritos, but many other foods and snacks Disneyland has made, was sold in the parks (McDonald’s), etc. over the years! Even if they made food items that were featured in their movies and tv shows (yelena from Black Widow adding hot sauce to Mac n cheese) would be fun!
Since a lot of the time after hours events have free food, honestly charging to come to the event and then like under a dollar for food would be super fun and would actually probably be a money maker, not even losing money.
It's mind-blowing that they were throwing away Tortillas. Mexican's always have kept them, cut them up, fried them, and made Chilaquiles.
More food history please!!!!!
