It shows the style of politics the Tyrells use, playing their foes against each other, rarely actually fighting themselves. Play the ever so generous servant and tip the scales in the direction you want.

I hate the showrunners for thinking Stannis was power-hungry. If Stannis was motivated by power he would’ve just betrayed Robert on the outset of the rebellion. Declared for Aerys and joined with the Tyrells to defeat Robert. But no he followed his brother because he cares about doing the right thing not about power for its own sake

It’s not as simple as that so maybe you’re missing the nuance of his predicament. The intrigue for us as an audience comes from Theon’s longing to be a member of a family. He’s been made to feel like an outsider his whole life. That’s a very human desire we all have: a feeling of belonging.
He feels rejected by the Starks and the Greyjoys through no real fault of his own and is forced to make a terrible choice that cannot be undone: Betray the people who raised him, or betray his own flesh and blood.
It’s not as simple as “Theon’s a meanie head”. The internal conflicts in this show are more interesting than that

it is taken from the characters' speeches and thoughts. * but much of must have been addded by george during production.

@@PULAG in the books it's said that the drowned god is a thrall of the great other, the god of the white walkers. So the words "what is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger" maybe a reference to the white walkers creating wights
