    Engaging and as consistently intelligent as ever … while we all relax on a Sunday, LTG fire off another review packed with energy and excitement borne of a real passion of gaming… we must doff our caps and gently applaud these guys tireless efforts … nothing like an LTG vid after a hard days painting of wallzzzz… bring back Blake’s 7 🐸💪🐌❤️🐸✅

    Great list! Liberation is absolutely hitting the top of my wishlist as I'd not heard of it, so thank you! I might also add...
    -Endless Sky
    -Transcendence
    -Drifter
    -Starcom: Nexus
    -Landinar: Into the Void
    As they are some oft-overlooked little space titles.
    Thanks again for sharing!

    Thanks for this video! Per Aspera and Interstellar Space: Genesis are already on my wishlist. I'd also add Distant Worlds 2 to the list, which I would definitely consider a hidden gem.

    Nice list, years ago I was giving streaming a shot, and Last Federation: Lost Technologies (DLC) was one of the 1st things I played / reviewed, it's a really cool concept, it borrows some of the semi-turn based combat that games like Battlestar Galactica Deadlock have utilized, but all the while the game still feels very cinematic and arcadey, I also love that you're basically playing as a race of sentient space faring hydras.
    Interstellar Pilot 2 looks really promising, the 2d plane worked really well for the 1st Rebel Galaxy which also plays like a dream on Steam Deck, so I'd love another Deck game that lets me fly turret-laden capital ships.

    • @LTGamingYoutube
      @LTGamingYoutube  Před 8 dny

      Thanks for sharing! Perhaps you should get back into it! Interstellar Pilot 2 is also 0.99c so balanced with price its a nice little option despite no recent updates.

  • @jclosed2516
    @jclosed2516 Před 6 dny

    Well - Those are nice games and I will give them a try. For now, however I have a few games on my list to play first. In no particular order they are: Chorus, Everspace 2 and the new upcoming improvements (7.0) and DLC (Timelines) for X4: Foundations (I played this series since the very first X-Beond The Frontier released in 1999). So thanks for the suggestions. I will certainly take a look at them in the nearby future.

  • @DomWeasel
    @DomWeasel Před 9 dny

    Per Aspera was a delight that I stumbled on quite by accident years ago. I love games where you can truly feel the impact of what you do and spreading across an entire planet and terraforming it whole delivers that. And it takes a long time too. Each stage feels earned. You don't just place one building and instantly have forests sprouting across the whole planet. Algae, moss and more advanced plantlife has to spread slowly and I love watching that spread. I love just watching the water spread across the surface.
    I also greatly enjoy AMI's monologuing in story mode. Though sandbox is great after you've played the story a few times, I miss hearing her voice and her musings about Mars and humans.
    One criticism is the Blue Mars DLC. Blue Mars adds aquatic buildings which is extremely useful when more than half of Mars is ocean or lakes and lots of valuable resources are underwater. It should really be a part of the base game.

    Hmmm..space games. Master of Orion back in the 90's rocked. Galactic Civilizations was okay. The old Elite was great for it's time. The new Elite Dangerous isn't fun for me. Wing Commander! Star Wars: X Wing. Yeah. Stellaris is what I'm playing now. Pretty good but doesn't peg my fun meter.

    steam deck is for kids and or basic games. that said it blows me away how much they cost sell for. but same for any smart phone. if it were up to me smart phones would never of taken off. most useless piles junk. lol
