Wonderful explanation of the importance of TS. I’m a 76 year old all court player and a retired coach of 20 years 😅Tom.
I have played competitive tennis for over 55 years.
When I taught and now I still love in helping my friends and competitors understand the finer elements of all court play.
If you want to improve your all court singles and doubles play Tom is your man.
Thanks for all you do in helping the game grow.

Hello Tom! I recorded a video of me hitting my forehand. In the video, I saw that I kept the racket face close from the starting position to the low point of backswing. When I was swinging low to high forward, I saw that my racket face, which was close at the low point on the backswing, became vertical automatically sometimes, even when my elbow was away from my body. How can I solve this problem?

If the racquet face was closed at the low point of the backswing when you swing forward it SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE VERTICAL AT "CONTACT" IF you swing from your SHOULDER and DO NOT USE THE WRIST OR FOREARM... The wrist and forearm move AFTER CONTACT with a windshield wiper motion.
