- Hello,
Today I am playing against David, his visiting from Japan for a month and I got a chance to play with him
This made me slightly sad looking back at this I was just producing too much unforced errors and I let to many break points go.
David - about a low USTA 5.0
Me - low 4.5 (UTR 7)
Match condition
Sun is facing upper back right of the camera
3-5 mph wind
Faster than a typical hard court
Somewhat slippery because of dust on court
Thank you for watching :D

This match just reminds me why I am terrible at singles... Yall be grindin.
Good game bro...👍👍👍
can tell white hat guy models his game after novak
Why model the game of someone who couldnt win his country an Olympics gold

@leemelvin6514 Thanks, I try to just cuz I don’t have a coach and his game is simple and efficient.
The serve is very Novak esque
Great game indeed
Thanks bro I appreciate it🙏
YOOOO 100TH SUB IS MEEE
Ayy, lmao thank you, I appreciate it🙏
playing since 2023? 1 year?
4.5 don’t miss too much
where is you based? the level is a bit overrated, especially David's serve can't be a 5.0 in other places. are both of your rating official/computer rated?
I think Japan 5.0 (diff scale) is about equivalent of a US NTRP level 4...I"m a level 5 in Japan.
Diego Schwartzman's serve during his prime 2019-2020 was big pile of shit. Some 5.0 are better than him. But he still won 67% of his ATP matches in those 2 years.
@@mejartomlinson7065 that’ s because his height. 170 cm in Top 30 is very rare case. 😅Don’t use rare cases to represent majority. If your serve is not good, you gotta be super good in other aspects.
Dude your forehand is too attached to your hip like a ping pong shot. Moving your contact point in front of you wil let you hit through, crush the ball with more power instead of pulling at it at your hip.
you are technically better than your opponent just too many UFE from yourself, also would like to see you step into your first serve more and make it more of a weapon
Yeah, I overcooked a lot of balls this game, also what do you mean by step into my first serve? like jump into the court more when I serve? thanks for watching also I appreciate it.
@@yvztennis With your ball toss it's often quite behind yourself so you're almost doing a type of kick serve/second serve on your first. If you throw the ball more in front of yourself, you can follow through more with your body which should give added power/force/momentum. 👍
@@williambergamot1342 yeah, I’ll start doing that again thanks for reminding me.
4.5? 🤔
Yeah who let that man cook
It seemed like David was making some bad calls at least in the first game
Yeah, he might have those were close balls but it’s alright everyone makes mistakes from time to time.🙏
@@yvztennis That is true I know I've probably made some pretty bad calls as well without realizing
if this is 4.5, then im 4.5.
Seems like the ball isn't bouncing as much as it should
4.5? U kidding right?
Lol he played like one
45 seriously, I saw 30 is better than that
This is not 4.5> level tennis. Was too many unforced errors and neither player has a game plan.
your forehand looks like sinners but with a bigger takeback
Sadge, I’m trying to go more Djokovic style🥲
