    If you're wondering how to get airport lounge access, a Priority Pass membership might be exactly what you're looking for (although international travelers will likely get the most value as the majority of the locations are outside of the U.S.). However, a growing part of the network is access to Priority Pass restaurants, which can be an excellent alternative to a lounge.
    That said, there's a wide variety of top travel credit cards that COME WITH Priority Pass (all you have to do is activate it)! This video will walk you through the main credit cards with Priority Pass, explain the different levels of access each one gives you, and then compare them against each other so you can determine which one best fits your needs.

    13:23 - How to Tell Them Apart
    When you log into your Priority Pass account, either via desktop / laptop or via the Priority Pass app, and search for lounge locations, the results will only show you the one(s) you can access. That means if your version does not provide restaurant access, then you will not see available restaurants when you search for Priority Pass locations.

    always such great content Mark! quick question, if you have 2 of these cards that offer 2 free guests per visit (example Ames Plat & Capital Venture X) are you able to stack the number of guests and bring in 4 total guests for that visit? So basically a family of 5 could enter the priority pass lounge for free?

    Great Video, just subscribed! Are spas and rest locations like Minute Suites covered in the restaurant tab, or is that different? When I called Minute Suites up they said they probably didn't cover Capital One Venture X Business ( I made sure to clarify that ) even though it says yes on restaurant and ETC in your chart. I don't have it so they weren't 100% sure though.
    I ended up getting the Plus package for this year which has 10 visits for $245 mostly because of the savings for Minute Suites + Lounges.
    For someone who doesn't need an authorized user, and is looking next year to upgrade, what is the unlimited + Restaurant + Spa you'd recommend. Ritz-Cartlon, Chase Sapphire, or Venture X Business who doesn't need an AU? My instinct tells me Chase Sapphire since it wouldn't require a card upgrade and Capital One did a bait and switch for the Venture X card.

    • @MarkReese
      @MarkReese  Před 6 měsíci +2

      1. Thank you!
      2. My chart info for the C1 Venture X Business was based on data points found through research. Unfortunately, I cannot 100% confirm if the card has access to the spa locations as I don't have the card myself. Call Priority Pass instead.
      3. Too much to compare between those 3 cards in the comments. Go with the card that provides you the best overall benefits package that you personally value.
      Note: If you'd also like to earn valuable rewards points through spend on a card for travel redemptions, then I'd avoid the Ritz-Carlton Credit Card. Earning hotel points specific to 1 program is too limiting & highly subject to devaluation.

      Hey Mark, got off the phone, and verified C1VX Biz has spa and restaurants access. Watched your video on C1VX rewards czcams.com/video/iHgbSRdxpBc/video.html , wow didn't realize it had so much to offer. Found out from the C1 rep you can't transfer from Regular to Business, it's completely separate despite the similar name, so you need a EIN/TIN for your business and must apply for it as it's a charge card that is run differently.

    Number of guest is lounge specific not necessarily based on what card you have.

      Right, see 11:55 in the video. That said, the cards themselves DO have limits for guests, while individual lounges can enforce their own capacity constraints.

    Is ridiculous to see that Amex Platinum Priority Pass offer less than some other Cards considering the higher annual fee, I have both Plat and Venture X, I haven’t applied for Priority Pass on Venture X because I thought I would not need it but just in case I will now since I travel with my family sometimes.

    I always thought venture x limited guest to two. where can we see that it is unlimited?

    • @MarkReese
      @MarkReese  Před 7 měsíci +2

      The terms never mention a 2-guest limit. Rather, they refer broadly to 'guests:
      Quote: "Additionally, cardholders and guests must present a same-day boarding pass and government-issued ID ... Guests must be accompanied by an eligible cardholder and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult."
      Source (bottom of page in the gray footnotes): www.capitalone.com/learn-grow/more-than-money/all-about-priority-pass-and-venture-x/
      Per TPG, a Capital One spokesperson confirmed that, "...there is no limit to the number of complimentary guests that a Venture X cardholder can bring into Priority Pass lounges, once they've activated their Priority Pass membership."
