    Despite bad weather I was able to fly INAV 6 for around 5 hours analog and WS digital. Even my Dart250G in 15-20 kmph wind. Man, what a joy! Configurator improved also a lot! Thanks everybody who contributed 👍

    I just got my INAV 2.6.1 development environment together. I'm glad to see my old Sparky 2.0 controllers are still supported. I made modifications to the Sparky 2 target for my flying wings adding r/c controller telemetry support on SERVO 5 port and a Bluetooth Telemetry support on the SERVO 6 port. This way I can modify flight controller parameters at the my club's airfield and also upload mission plans from a smartphone or laptop.
    I initially thought Sparky 2.0 was dropped. This morning I installed the INAV development environment and built the firmware for the Sparky2 target.. success.

    Pawel, your work and the work of all involved is just incredible. But here is a suggestion for a next video : it would be nice to tell us - lay people - how to program a flight controller : IDE / compiler etc... (configuration). Some of us would like to try out some simple modifications without spending too much time on the learning curve. Do you think this is a good idea ?

    But couldn't you make a tutorial to connect iNAV with RealFlight or X-Plane? I saw that iNAV 6.1 has SITL profiles for both simulators.
    A nice tutorial done well where you show us all the steps, I know that with iNAV you already consume a lot of resources and a lot of time and for this we are grateful.

    Great features in INAV 6, thanks a lot! Maybe RPM filtering using DSHOT will be a useful feature in INAV 7 or current filters are enough?

    I have 3x Pixhawk 3.1 Pro Mini with all the gizmos. Brilliant for my TBS Discovery Pro, but will run Ardupilot. INAV on my 7" though Matek f722 FC. Use one in my WingWing Z-84 and a TBS Caiprihina 2. Use Ardupilot for all wings. And the 15" Quad. The 7" and 4" LR I use iNAV. My freestyle 5" quads run Betaflight OFC 😊

    Thanks Pawel, this sond great. My 7 inch quad is grounded for 2 years.. With 3.0 version.. Its time to start flaying again... Inav 6 sounds good to upgrade.. I think full erase and start from zero is best?...

    I'm not sure if this is just me as I haven't seen any CZcamsr talking about this, but with the new OSD update, we can now use INAV with the DJI O3 Full Canvas on the Goggles 2 (not just restricted to BF43COMPACT). Just set the OSD layout with the video format DJIWTF and default font, then save it as BF43COMPACT. Can you confirm that this is the new procedure to make it work? Thanks

    I'm a newbie to Inav but not to the model airplane hobby. My skyhunter is running 6.1 and i keep getting a drift roll of about 3* to the left only in cruise mode, It is trimmed and it flies straight in manual and angle mode. Board alignment shows near 0* roll on the OSD when flying straight. As soon as I go into cruise mode it begins a steady roll of about 3* Is there a simple answer to this question? Your Videos have made a very smooth Inav experience. Thank you!

    I ask for help from the author of the video and the community. The situation is as follows: - Wingspan 1000mm, Flight FC-10DOF, receiver and RF module on the app - QCZEK_LRC v2.1.1, SBUS protocol, Turnigy 9X app is firmware in ER9X by Mike. There were no comments on all controller firmware versions up to INAV 4.1. From version 4.1, I upgraded sequentially first to INAV 5.1, and then to 6.0.0 RC1, 6.0.0-FP2 and then to 6.0.0 stable. On versions 5 - 6, the PC was simply "draughty" updated to version 6.0.0 stable. Now, when the battery is connected to the model, the motor often "beeps" and in simple ways - when the app is turned on, the gas is at the top or channel 3 is inverted on the app - the controller does not bind. At the same time, the same regulator with the same motor - but with a different receiver (Turnigy 8CH) and a different RF module (of course Turnigy) - connects and works without problems. What is the reason? RF module and receiver QCZEK_LRS v 2.1.1 reflashed and set up on a new one - there is no result. Regulus does not connect and the motor squeaks. From the conclusion made, this - the Motor, the regulator, the RF transmitter unit and the receiver - are operational. Problem in the controller or firmware?? I ask for advice..

    RTH Trackback ok u oviously need onboard memmory for this.. most flight controllers have 8mb dedicated to recording events incase of crash how is trackback doing this while also recording events? woulndt that mean its doubling processor use? woulndt it run out of space within like 5 minutes of flying and you need to clear it out manually? or is there a setting where you click on inav to tell it just do track back and not record events?

    nice video. I'm flying a swordfish using the atomrc fc stock on inav 6.1 and I'm experiencing a very strange behavior on my nav modes, the plane flies great in all modes but if I hold the elevator stick for too long (climbing ), lets say for a couple of minutes , all my nav modes(alt hold, loiter, cruise, rth) start purposing . if I only climb for few seconds at the time it behaves normal. what do I need to do to fix this? and why do you think this is happening ?

    Hello Friend how are you? I tell you that I have MATEK 411 WTE with Continuously trim servos on Fixed Wing active. I have flown 15 minutes straight on ANGLE and it does not register any correction value. What could it be due to? On the other hand, my wing has a tendency to go upside down but the autolevel does not compensate for it. The INAV version is 6.1.1. I would appreciate your prompt response. Thank you

    I use inav for my wings & you the man.
    But I just found 4 untouched omnibus F3 nano boards in a box. & it's spring here so it means rain.
    Rather than take my 5's out I have a 2.5 frame but I just plugged the in. Now I know F1 & F3 boards are not supported, but I thought as long as you had the last working F3 omnibus omni hex it would work with the current BF config 10.9.0.
    Not so, for me anyway. I tried a couple of old targets 3.5.7 & 4.0. I'm getting into dfu & loading the FW locally but it's not added to the box on the left & if I hit flash firmware, nothing happens.
    Tried not in dfu & nothing.
    Boards are pristine never used.
    Sorry its long winded but would be a shame to waste them again. Any input anybody please🙏

    If I undrestand correctly fix of accilirometr issue nased on correction from gps.
    So now if gps have some problems during flight, horizont gonna be crayzy.

      no it won't, if GPS fix fails or loses conenction alltogether it will fallback into a Reference Airspeed mode and will behave similar to 5.1.

      edit: iNAV-6 was fine, no problem from the start. SpeedyBeeF7V3 was also not the problem.
      The issue was having UARTs occupied with peripherals, while trying to upload firmware.
      Solution: de-solder all devices from all UARTs, next I uploaded iNAV firmware, success. Now, I re-solder my devices to the UARTs they were on, and all is good!

    Now we are on the 6th version of a flightcontroller firmware, u need to study MONTH in forums - and watching all videos - to get it running....in every version things changed, gets deleted - or new - i dont like that. in every version, my plane flies like crap - and i have to read hours of hours in forums, to get an answer....
    inav was never a flightcontroller software - it was a programm for geeks. its not suitable for casual flying ppl
    And yes, im in since multiwii - so i know, what im doing ^^

      yes, there is nothing safer than using a software with a plethora of bugs that were solved in later versions
