    Thanks for your content I have watched a lot of it and enjoy what you do. It's going to be helpful for when we finally move down the the North Okanagan this year. Might even see you out there. If I do I'll say hi, move on and let you do your thing though lol.
    Thankful for guys like you who don't break the rules unlike Alpine Carnivore that has just been convicted of numerous serious wildlife offenses in both BC and Alberta.

      Thanks for watching Gerry. Hopefully we can chat hunting if we see each other! Where you moving from? Yes what recently came to a lot of our attention is very unfortunate.

    great video! say, for a spot where glassing distance is 600-950m (first ridge you mention), could you glass with just good 8x42 binoculars?

    • @truetineoutdoors
      @truetineoutdoors  Před 6 měsíci

      I would say you can identify animals, but what I specifically do when I glass at those distances is I will be scanning to find animals and then maybe I’ll see one or something that could possibly portray one. At that point I switch to my spotter to observe the animal or that thing more in depth.

    Are we going to get a November mule deer video? 🤞

      I’m giving the e-scouting videos a break while I prep for the upcoming season and shed hunt like mad. But I will be making more in the future on mule deer. I’m unsure as of when I will drop another cluster of videos at the moment.

    Do you find whitetails in the same spots or are they down lower usually? I'm really looking forward to hunting both this fall. What's funny is I also look at Google Earth for hunting spots up here and have already started looking for spots down there.

      @truetineoutdoors  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The whitetail are down at lower elevation areas. Do you use iHunter at all?

    What do you use to filter the water you find for drinking on a hunt??

    • @truetineoutdoors
      @truetineoutdoors  Před 6 měsíci

      I have a life straw bottle that I use for quick on the go, and then I have a sawyer filter that I can attach to 2 water bladder’s that I carry. One bladder is 1L (comes with the sawyer filter) and the other is a platypus 2L.
