The general hypocrisy going around the world is:-
When India loses on away tours to England, Australia their media will say well played to Aussies or Poms and say India played badly, they arent competitive enough, blah blah (mind you Indians never ever have complained regarding bounce in New Zealand, South Africa) or swing in England...nop..they go, they lose and come back to scathing criticism by foreign media on being Tigers at home only...blah blah
But when foreign teams like England, Aussies are bull dozed by the same Indian team in India...the same media will say we had moral victory, it doesnt reflect how the scoreline is...or the BCCI is a scum to prepare rank turners, DRS is a bitch, Brook wasnt there...this that...same happens when India goes on to win in these 2 countries that their media will rant on we missed these players, India has so much money to buy empires, refrees, players, match outcomes...or the pitch we prepared wasnt green or swinging..blah blah...
THE SIMPLE FACT THAT THEY JUST CANNOT ACCEPT INDIA IS BOSSING THE TEST ARENA CURRENTLY, THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW AND THEIR SKILLS ARE AT EPIC LEVELS...🤣🤣

During the 2020-21 series down under, India weren't the superior team. They got bundled out for 36 in the first test at Adelaide. India missed Kohli and Bumrah. Ashwin and Jadeja were injured mid series. First timers like Washington Sundar, Siraj, Shardul, Natarajan were playing in the XI. On the other side Australia had the services of their stalwarts in Smith, Cummins, Starc, Hazelwood, Warner, Lyon, Labuschagne. Australia is a hard place to win. They did it with their 'B' team. So it wasn't like India were the superior team in both the occasions. Yes, in 2018 they were.....but not the next time around. Btw, I'm a big fan of your show! Really enjoy you guys talking 😊

Beating India in a Test series in India is perhaps cricket’s answer to climbing the Mount Everest, and the very best of sides - from the legendary Australian teams led by Steve Waugh and Ricky Ponting to Ben Stokes’ ‘Bazballers’ - have fallen short despite their aura
India’s series win against England, which was confirmed by the hosts’ five-wicket victory in Ranchi on Monday, comes at a time when the team is missing several first-choice players who have been critical to their success in recent years.
Moreover, the manner in which they’ve responded in this marquee series for the Anthony D’Mello Trophy - which still has one match left to be played in picturesque Dharamsala - only serves to highlight their dominance of their conditions.
Rohit's relaxed captaincy, youth and flair: How India defied all odds to halt 'Bazball' juggernaut.
    Rohit’s inspiring leadership
Not only did he score a century for the ages in Rajkot to allow India to post 445 from 33/3, it’s also his ability to marshal whatever resources are at his disposal and make full use of it that has allowed India to fight their way back from 0-1 down after their dramatic loss in Hyderabad.
What makes this Indian victory all the more impressive, which takes us back to Rohit’s aforementioned statement during the post-match presentation at Ranchi’s JSCA International Stadium, is the manner in which they’ve responded despite the odds heavily stacked against them.
Bonafide match-winners Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami and Rishabh Pant have been missing for different reasons.
KL Rahul could not play after the first Test due to injury and Jasprit Bumrah had to be rested at Ranchi due to workload issue.
While none of Kohli’s direct replacements at the No 4 spot were particularly impressive in this series, both Shreyas Iyer and Rajat Patidar registering underwhelming returns, Shubman Gill’s brilliance at No 3 more than made up for it.
Gill, who shook off an extended lean patch with a crucial knock of 104 in Visakhapatnam, has also effectively cemented himself at the No 3 spot for now, making the possibility of Cheteshwar Pujara clawing his way back into the Test side extremely unlikely. The kind of temperament that he exhibited with his unbeaten fifty during India’s tricky chase of the 192-run target further establishes the fact that he belongs at this level and is more than capable of handling the rigours of five-day cricket.
While Bumrah has been brilliant in this series so far, and almost single-handedly won the game in Vizag from the bowling perspective, his and Shami’s absence allowed the likes of Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep to step forth and make their presence felt. Siraj with his game-changing spell on Day 3 in Rajkot and Akash with his three-wicket burst on debut at Ranchi.
Jazball is in the middle of an unbelievable run, slamming back-to-back double-hundreds in the series.
The Mumbaikar has had a terrific start to his career in the West Indies but has taken it to another level against England at home.
In Sarfaraz Khan, India have discovered a feisty option down the order following his sparkling half-centuries on debut in Rajkot, dominating the English spinners and giving the visitors a taste of their own ‘Bazball’ medicine.
The demolition jobs on the final day at Rajkot and the third day at Ranchi, ultimately served as a reminder as to who really rules these conditions. Both Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have collected a five-for each at this point, but even more impressive is the manner in which Kuldeep has responded under pressure. And let’s not forget his contributions with the bat either, which however small, proved series defining in the end.
As for Pant’s absence, Jurel’s brilliance with bat couple with his fine wicketkeeping skills has certainly made it very difficult for the team to drop him, and chances are he might just get retained in the XI with Pant playing purely as a batter whenever he makes a comeback.
Last, but not the least, there’s Rohit Sharma who’s been leading from the front and has been masterminding the epic comeback.

Pez, Will Faulkner deserved every bit of the punishment given to him. He should have been the one who sacrificed his own wicket instead of unleashing Eddie Verco (the guy in shorts who walked out). Adam Crosthwaite who is the St. Kilda first XI captain commented in some social media channel about spirit of cricket. Faulkner getting timed out is what would have been true spirit of cricket. Premier cricket rules clearly state that the over has to be completed irrespective of whether it is past 5 PM or not. St Kilda's captains should have been more aware of the rules rather than their own imagined spirits of cricket.
In 2022 Feb, premier club Kingston Hawthorn was dragged in the mud because one of its bowlers ran out 2 batters at the non-striker's end (mostly referred to wrongly as Mankading). The club as a whole for no fault of one player who was just playing by the rules. Leading this dragging in the mud on social media was St Kilda players including Tom Morris himself. Now look at the absolute state of St. Kilda Cricket Club which doesn't bother to read the rules, cooks up imaginary spirit of the game elements, captain criticises the Footscray pitch and gets suspended. Cricket Victoria need not have to be this strict if premier cricketers behaved properly on (and maybe off) the field.

People saying ‘Bazball is dead’ genuinely don’t have any clue what they’re talking about. Losing 3-1 in India isn’t even an embarrassment, it’s what you should expect. Yes England could have been 2-2 if they played better, but no series in India has been so competitive in India since 2012. Regardless, losing one test series doesn’t kill bazball, otherwise pat cummins should be in prison right now for losing at home to India. Anyways, it’s better than 1 out of 17. If all test playing nations starts to play test cricket aggressively then there's definitely a chance that test cricket should not last long for the 5th day to happen When English media Started to buzz about bazball and aggressive test cricket the thing I feared the most was this if you cut down the days of test cricket because it's not happening it's like cutting down the branch you're sitting on so in a way Bazball going to kill the test cricket in coming days I fear...

When you go ahead of your capabilities with a mike in hand you are bound to look stupid. However, the amazing thing is that English cricketers and media personnel , generally across the board are always tempted to repeat the same joke over and over again. Anderson, with a head of 40 plus years does not sound wise with a mike in hand. England played well. Perhaps a lot better than on most earlier trips to India. However, England never really had it in them to bridge the gap between being second best and being the winners. When a team playing test cricket says/ believes that "Bazball"is a panacea for all their ills then it clearly implies that they are deluding themselves. The contrast between Joe Root's reverse scoop and a carefully played innings of over hundred says it all. Bazball may amplify the teams overall output through aggressive batting against lesser teams but against skilled teams like Australia, India or even South africa the gaps in England's game will certainly be exposed.

Warner, Head, Marsh, Smith, Maxwell, Inglis, Stoinis, Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood, Zampa...Pitches could be similar to Dubai, low and slow. May need Smudge in a few low scoring matches. If the top 3 bat for more than 10 overs smith keeps dropping down the order, Maxi, Stoin, Ingo can come above him.

Their remaining series are with Pakistan and Sri Lanka at home and Bangladesh and Windies away. All these are 2 tests each and if SA win them all they will have a percentage of 75 just like that. I find it funny how everyone makes up the bazball narrative besides England because most fans are enjoying test cricket the most it’s been enjoyed
Bazball has the most successful win % of any England side ever but while losing more games instead of drawing them. It makes cricket agressive, entertaining and joyful to watch around the world. Everyone’s talking about England without England talking about themselves they’re just within their camp enjoying the sport under no pressure which I thinks great
England have over performed with a side that was expected to get battered in India only 3 players averaged 30 or more going into India and we had no world class spinner while losing leach. We should have been destroyed and not even competed. To win 1 test there with the side we have is an achievement even though there could have been more if there wasn’t some poor play by England. But it’s test cricket shit happens, the main thing is. I’ve loved watching it all
