Those same American weapons were used by Israel against Iran when Israel offensively bombed the Iranian Consulate located in Damascus, Syria earlier this week. Diplomats and their family members are protected under the Geneva Convention and are not considered legitimate targets like military installations. Now the Biden, Blinken and the JCS want to decry Iran as an escalator, despite Iran having lost the lives of Iranian diplomats when Israel struck first. Who really is the instigator in this situation?

The JCS usually try to avoid media coverage as much as possible. Military leaders are not good with nor find it worthwhile to deal with bad publicity from press coverage.
