The animation team for the most part focuses on the actual episodes. The weekly shorts (which are NOT the episodes) was an added bonus from a stretch goal on Kickstarter. As such, the team doesn't focus on the shorts' quality as much as the episodes, so it's a welcome surprise to see something like this.
