lol 100%. Like that story on joe rogan where he beat that guy up so his sister wouldnt get in trouble and helped him up, WB told him "good job" even though wonderboy never got hit. Heard usman is calling for colby to step in against usman since supposedly diaz is hurt. Wonder what wonderboy thinks about this. I barely hear any of the major podcasts mentioning WB's name for title contention soon and its frustrating, he is taking fights and has a decent streak going. Two close fights with woodley, and was betting petitis until the KO superman punch. Masvidal has been knocked out once in UFC, 2 other times in life. WB only ever knocked out once, never KO'd in his like 50 karate/kickboxing matches or sparring. Just petitis.

I don't see Jiri getting Koed anytime soon. Some men really are build different and Prochazka is one of them. He fights wild like this everytime and comes out on top. Only time he got Koed was against King Mo but we must remember that on the very same night he had a 10 minute round war with Nemkov which Jiri won. Going into Mo fight he looked physically done. He later on got his revenge in king Mos last fight and that was also his last loss being only 22 years of age.
But that bulldogging style is a total double edged sword. That left that Reyes staggered him with in the first, if that was Jan, that would have been night-night 100%. He is a good fighter, definitely unpredictable and I love his whole Samurai mindset. But I watched that Nemkov fight on Sunday & what I saw was him getting taken down almost at will, terrible choke technique and his toughness just totally wore Nemkov out. I really feel he gets in some of those positions with Glover its over. He can definitely win, but not respecting an opponents power is only gonna work for so long in the UFC.
If you looked on the King Mo KO, it's just a really stupid error, he walked into the punch like an idiot, nothing to do with his style.

The shots that always rock you the worse or knock you out are always the ones you don’t see coming. That’s a big part of why fakes and feints work and why combination striking is so effective.

I’ve had this friend in my teens and twenties who reminds me of wonderboy. He even looked a bit like Stephen. One day he was driving to work very early, and some drunk guy just smashes into his car. He gets out and the drunk guy instantly attacks him, he lays him out with one punch. Then sees that the drunk dude fell with his head on the pavement; dragged him into his own car and rushed him to the ER. Luckily he only suffered a concussion and he was fine afterwards. Man, those were the days. My friend was such an NMF, like my man Wonderboy. Who was kind enough to reply to some of my comments (one about roundhouse kicking my mom in the face BY ACCIDENT). My son loved the fact that Stephen took the time to reply. He’s an even bigger fan than I am. I just feel the belt is going to Wonderboy this year, and if COVID doesn’t interfere, my boy and I will be in attendance. LET’S GO BABYYYY!!
Jiri turned his head to look at Dom and bait a strike (also to get distance), and then spun the elbow. That's what it looked like to me, at least. All through the fight he was trying to use the hands low, pull head/dip the strike at the last second technique. He keeps his head out there to get you to throw, isn't as clean as he wants to be yet (but his chin is amazing) and then returns with some bombs and crazy strikes.
The elbow before the spinning elbow looked to be just to break Dom's guard and rattle him while he go his right foot ready to close the trap. It was a micro second of vulnerability that Reyes thought he was closing on. Gotta give him credit, but it was a trap.
I love Prochazka style and so yours too. Wildstyle, unpredictable moves, strong chin and high fighters IQ. We are witnessing a new prospect.
If the spinning elbow was like part of a combo then it would have been a lot sooner and be blocked by the same guard. The delay allowed Reyes to open up his guard and leave the opening. Genius.
Love wonderboy’s channel always consistent and awesome content. A lot of great advice for young up and coming fighters as well. Appreciate you wonderboy!

Prochazka wont let Blachowicz punch him, like he let Reyes or Volkov, because he knows Blachowicz wery well and he knows, how dangerous he is. He wanted punches from Volkov, because he loves it. He said it. Prochazka is thinking very much and he didnt show everything, because he expected his wins and title fight. He talked about his journey years ago and he expected title fight very soon in UFC after his enter and he deserves it. Btw Prochazka was KOd only twice years ago and choked only once as a young boy (didnt tap). I was scared, so I subscribed. :D So, take it easy, boys. OK?

Jiri said he didn't really practice that elbow, maybe about 3 times he used it in training lol he's really an awesome guy if you watch his interview, his perspective of not only mma but everything is really refreshing and intriguing.

As a lifelong mma fan and son of Czech immigrants i had no ideo who the guy was. Now I'm on the bandwagon after that fight.
You aren't mma fan if you don't know that Jiri was Rizin LHW champion. UFC isn't only mma competition. He has 28 fights, only 2 in ufc. Only few fighters of his age have so many fights.

It's freaky though...and you never think you are going to get knocced-out, let alone get K.O.'d like that. Damn. I can sense a Yan vs Prochazka. That Polish Power is real...trust me on this one...I'm not from Poland, but it flows all through my blood. All I got so far is scary power and speed on the feet. (6'3" 230-250) I barely know Jacc shit about BJJ though, compared to others who are "ground game" heavy!! I gotta learn fast...just turned 30. You're The Best WonderBoy!! ✌️💯💪

embodying the martial arts mindset is why i liked conor during his rise through the featherweight division at least in the way he applied it to his training and fighting style. he seems to have gotten lost a bit when it comes to maintaining that.

When someone fights for the belt and thinks they won the fight, and then loses on the judges scorecard, I think it does damage their inner self. I think we have seen this with Gustaffson, Reyes and Carlos Condit - all were not the same after they lost a decision for the belt that they thought they clearly won. They thought they did everything right to win the belt and still didin't get it, so to them it must be disheartening and they must wonder if it's even worth it. I would say that is why Carlos Condit took so much time off after the Lawler fight - he probably didn't think the effort was worth it, just to lose a fight he thought he won - for the belt.

That delay between the two elbows was not planned. Prochazka said that the idea to throw the second one just came to him in that moment so he just did it.
Glover is very sneaky, the way he wore down lion heart with all his twitching ,pressing forwards and not throwing much . After a couple of rounds there was nothing more Anthony could show him . I reckon Glover could grind them all down if he doesn't get caught early.
Well... I think that Rakić is the next in line for the 205 Title? He defeated both Smith and Santos! IMO Prochazka has to win over one of those two if he wants a title shot! Or, it's possible to fight versus Rakić for the first contender if it's too long for Rakić to wait for the end of the year or the beginning of the next year for the title fight! But there is no way that Prochazka has done more than Rakić to be the next in the line for the belt! Oss!

Did you see Jiri's interview where he admitted he was flash KOed? He understands he is messing up, despite his wins. You are spot on about not letting Jan hit him. I believe we will see Jiri with his arms up and chin tucked a little more in his next bout. I hope he faces Jan, though. Glover is going to just take it to the ground. But really he should wait and fight someone else in Top 5.
I miss Wonderboys opinion on hands down type of fighting that both Jiri and him have. How it works, benefits (except clear vision) and so on. Maybe next time? Tnx.
