I love how these videos sound like a safety video and have the frame rate to match
LMFAO why is this so accurate
This is one of the best guitar tones I've EVER heard, irrespective of tube or solid state nature.
I think the engineers over at Orange did a terrific job with this analog solid-state amp. Has great fidelity and character that seems to be liked by the guitarist community. Thanks for the upload!
Ty Tabor plays this amp. He uses a lot of pedals with it tho!
Recently played a gig with this amp as my other tube amp (Fender SuperSonic) has had multiple failures attributed to poor quality components. Amps used by the other bands included a JCM-800, Peavey Butcher, Fender Deluxe Reverb, and a few others. The Peavey player even indicated that they owned the Super Crush but hadn’t played it live.
Every single other player complimented the Super Crush’s tone. Visible surprise from the other guitar players at how well it sat in the mix and the clarity of every note while maintaining saturated distortion. JCM guy is going to get one now.
If you happen to find one in store, give a bit of volume to experience what it sounds like in proper operation. Really opens up as it gets louder.
Can’t compliment it enough for what it is: an affordable, easy to transport, tubeless, hairy gain machine that takes a Tube Screamer really well.
Cranking the master between noon and 3 o’clock, turning the gain up to taste and filling in with the OD of choice is where that amp excels. I can get a classic rock, southern rock, Ozzy/Sabbath and a modern metal tone with just a few tweaks. Love this amp.
I put a Boss 7 band EQ in the FX loop of my Super Crush and blew open the hidden nitro metal sound this amp is fully capable of. I'm still on the fence as to rather or not I want to add an Ibanez Tube Screamer OD pedal to it or not. I also cranked the master volume up to 10 and use my dirt channel's volume to adjust accordingly. Sounds so good. Best 100w non tube head I have ever had the pleasure of owning and playing through.
I've been using a BOSS Katana 100w MKII for quite some time, but i'm thinking about getting into the real stuff. How do you compare both amps? Would you advice me getting the Supercrush and then investing in effect pedals so I can get the most out of it or should I wait some more time and get something even chunkier. My main focus right now is modern metal. I also don't have a cab and would like to hear your take. Cheers!
After that, play the heads you want. If you get a great tone from the Super Crush with an OD, then it’s a great option. Let your ears do the work. Try different boosts and overdrive pedals too. I like the micro amp from MXR and the 5150 OD with the gain low too or adding it as a 3rd option or channel. But that’s just me. I used to run all Boss - SD-1 in the front, Chorus Ensemble, RV-6 Reverb and DD-8 in the FX loop. Now it’s all MXR - micro amp, 5150, analog chorus and carbon copy. I’m from the Zakk/Randy school of tone. LOL, but I can get whatever I want from that set up.
On the other hand, if that doesn’t work for you, then don’t settle. Wait and save. The only wrong answer is not trusting yourself and settling for something that you’ll regret until you sell it at a loss just to complain about it forever more. Been there.
@@MostlyLost Thank you for the advice! My next investment would be and OD pedal (Fortin 33 or an OD808). Then after a cupple of years, when I have some sort of rehearsal where I can be as noisy as the law of phisics allow, I will get a nice amp head and continue my jurney, already having a good OD.
I own this amp and that sounds like a good idea. I get the master volume idea but what about the channel volume? Dimed or halfway. It seems to make a big difference on the amp…
I am proud of you, Jarrod, for reviewing this amplifier!
Always nice when a piece of gear that could go either way turns out to be a nice surprise. Sounded meaty AF in that mix at the end too. I own a super crush myself and it's one of the few solid states that doesn't feel like it gets lost in a live mix. Seems to push the air a lot like a tube amp which gives it a great feel. Glad you liked it!
Thanks for finally doing a affordable amp cant really afford most amps you demo but still love your channel and demos one of my favorite groups thanks again
My pleasure! Sometimes it's hard for me to get ahold of certain types of gear around here. But whenever I do, be sure that I will demo it
I bought one of these a few months ago and I really dig it. It's simple, gives me what I want, and has plenty of power to spare. In fact, I like it so much that it's my road dog now.
I bought one of these 3 years ago and have gigged with it at every live show I done. I have it paired with a 2/12 Hughes Kettner cabinet and it absolutely kicks ass. It loves pedals. It excels at hard rock and metal. It does a decent enough job on the clean channel. For the money it is hands down the best solid state 100 watt head I have ever heard. Damn well worth $500 new.
I bought this amp, and I still can't believe how close to a tube amp it sounds and feels. The only thing missing is to me is the power amp doesn't punch you in the chest like a tube power amp, but for the price, no tube maintenance and today's outrageous tube & tube amp prices, this amp is a steal! Great review!
Your playing is awesome 👍 is there a ss amp that sounds better than the super crush 100?
I think the same it doesn't seem to deliver that chest hitting crunch like the Marshall dsl 40 for same price I am on the fence between the 2 at the moment there isn't much more out there in that 1000 price range thats quality built that can deliver that late 70s 80s chest hitting crunch I am looking for ,but the crush isn't bad maybe a different 2x12 cabinet without that semi sealed speaker covering would bring a little better tone out😊
Man I love your reviews. Fair but honest af. You really got some great sounds out of this. Its interesting technology those single ended jfets. They do really get close to tube feel if in the right circuit.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you like the videos. My goal here is to tell the truth and give you guys a place to come for the facts and my opinions on carefully dialed in gear.
I honestly want to get one of these to back up my Rockerverb but am afraid I'd end up selling the RV because this thing gets very close on the overdrive and has a better clean channel. Love the DOKKEN! 🤙
Great review loved it in the mix
this amp crunch sounds pretty warm very good sir!
Get mine tomorrow. Can’t wait!
Nice demo. I have heard nothing but good things about the Super Crush. Other demos I have seen sounded great and the clean channel is sweet and musical. Great pedal platform. I need to try one.
Thank.you. the super crush is definitely worth a look
I have this amp and love it. I like the distortion on it and the cleans are very nice. Reverb is top notch. As for using distortion and overdrive pedals it's picky with what it is. Some of my pedals sound awesome and others terrible. For the most part I just plug straight in. Chorus and delay pedals in the effects loop are sweet.
Damn with a boost it sounds really good thanks for this, with the price of tubes this is nice option too.
My pleasure. Yeah, it's a great option for anyone looking for a good amp at a good price.
Sounds so good for the price definitely thought about getting it
I own one of these and a nice tube amp. I almost always use the Orange. Both channels sound great. The clean channel makes a great pedal platform and I can easily switch to the high gain channel when I want to turn to the nasty side. Also, the master volume is super useful as I can easily lower or raise the volume as appropriate for practice without messing with my channel settings. Being an old school pedal guy, this would be my amp of choice for the money every time. Simple, flexible, reliable, and sounds great.
Sold! Thanks for the great vid and I subscribed
Thank you!!!
There's another guy on here that nails a dimebag tone with a 6 band EQ and SD-1 with this head.
Just picked one up in black and it sounds great coming from tube amps. I was very impressed with the tone and feel especially the cab sim direct out on the closed back setting. Good stuff even for metal if you have a few pedals to run with it. Also fellow metro Detroiter and Motor City Guitar rocks!
Dude I bought my first guitar from Motor City Guitar like 30 years ago! They were in a different location then, can’t remember where. But best day ever!
Crank the master to 4 or 5 oClock to add way more resonance and use the channel volume to control the loudness
Just tried this. Checks out. Thanks for the tip.
Solid State or not, this amp sounds incredible! I'd have to play to to see how it feels, which is of equal importance as I have always played tube amps going back to 1971. And it sounds great in the mix. Great, great demo! 🎸
I picked one of these up brand new for cheap during the black friday sales last year. $425 i had two Mkiii 100 rockerverbs and both had bad tubes and were extremely noisy, one channel went out. I ordered one of these to hold me over until more stock of rockerverbs arrived but i never ordered another rockerverb. This thing is impressive for its size and adding an eq in the loop and boosting the low frequencies... makes it sound damn close, close enough for me to not warrant spending $1600 more on another mkiii rv.
Exactly. Good choice.
And adding the eq in the loop is the trick. Killer bottom end and race car clarity. Deadly amp. Mikey likey!!!
Addendum: My main amp is a Marshall JVM210H through a Marshall 1960 Vintage 4x12 cab loaded with Celestion G12M 20w speakers. After watching this video a few days ago I called a friend of mine who owns this head and he brought it over to my studio yesterday, because I figured, hell, why not try it for fun. Damn! I ran it exactly like I run my Marshall with my trusty TC G System using the 4 cable method and was TOTALLY blown away . Especially when I kicked in the EP boost pedal through a loop send on the TC. This is one great sounding and feeling beast of an amp head with amazing feel for an SS amp! The clean channel also sounded heavenly with the mod, verb and delays of the TC G System. I'm considering buying one since they're so inexpensive. Thanks again!
For a solid state amp this thing rips. With pedals you can pretty much shape the drive character in lots of cool ways. Played through one for a little while and definitely want one. For that price and its versatility it's hard to beat. This and a DSL20hr are things I wanna get when I have the noise making space for them.
Peace
Thanks for commenting. I agree, with a few pedals, this amplifier is really good.
I have the DSL20 it's just awesome man !!!
Nice review!
Soldano SLO 30 and Mesa Boogie Mark V 35 combo amp are my favorite small amps so far. Expensive but awesome.
Gigging with one of these. Genuinely good. I’ve had some very expensive amps and this is great. Clean channel would be great if it had an option to add a tiny amount of gain as it can be a bit sterile.
Nice video. Amp does sound GREAT for solid state. I am NOT YOUNG and when I was a kid playing in the 80's solid state was awful. Sounds really good and for the price, it sounds great! If anyone knows where this gentleman got those automotive shelfs please let me know. I have shelving for my amps and my shelving is not as nice as his. Anywho great video dude! Nice playing. 🤘😁🤘
I don’t use pedals on my SC I love the way it sounds with just the guitar plugged in. I run it through a 2x12 guitar cab and a 2x10 bass cab. Sounds huge and heavy!!!
I got it right after watching your review. Orange should Thank you ;)
This sounds amazing holy shit
Channel volume maxed, gain maxed, mids scooped, overdrive tone maxed... Yeah, we got a metalhead here folks.
I’m impressed.
I'm pretty sure that Ty Tabor (King's X) has been using these amps.
Yes.
Jarrod you have a god like amp collection to die for. I need to make more money to catch up with your collection hehe.
Great review! Nice to see a non-tube amp. I've been pretty pissed-off at tube amps lately. Ever since I starting learning about repairing tube amps. I am finding out that too many of them are built like crap. And for what they are charging for them.... it makes me mad. And now we have a tube shortage, which is driving the prices up even further. I think it's time for most of us to start looking for alternatives now. Those fancy "guitar computers" are getting REALLY good. Pro's are using the Fractal and QC stuff on stages all around the world. The Boss Katana head is still great for players on a budget. This Orange Super Crush is also very good. But it does need some help in order to get the most out of it. It takes pedals well, and you need pedals with it. An EQ in the loop, and a booster up front. The Super Crush would also be a great power amp to go with a QC or a Fractal. Cabs make a difference, so I think you gotta pair this Super Crush with the right cab. One cab might be too dark. Another cab might sound too harsh. It's like that 5150 Iconic amp. The matching cab sounds like crap. But you plug the Iconic into a MESA or an ENGL cab and it sounds badass. I still would recommend the Katana head over the Orange Super Crush, only because it's $100 cheaper, and you get built-in effects to play with. You also get several distortion tones to work with, instead of basically just one from the Orange. You could also use the Orange with pedals like a Friedman BE-OD, or a Revv G3. I'm sure those would sound really good with it. With 100-watt tube amps in the $2,000 to $3,000 range now.... something like a Super Crush or a Katana head is the way to go. You can buy a lot of pedals with the money you save! OR... do a Super Crush and a Fractal FM9, and basically have everything you could ever want. Add your cab of choice, and you are all set. So many options now. I think those expensive tube amps are still great for recording albums in the studio. But I wouldn't want to own them, or practice with them. They are just not practical. A re-tube and bias job on a 100-watt tube amp costs about the same as an Orange Super Crush! LoL!
Majority of the amp market is complete crap- all of it.
Most of them are actually built well, and most damage can be summed up to user error.
There's plenty of vintage amps out there with the OG tubes in them.
@@IJIIKY9192 The older tube amps were made better. But nothing lasts forever. Tubes wear out, and caps go bad. Pots get dirty. Heat melts things over time. Component values drift. A lot of the newer tube amps are built really bad. The really expensive boutique amps are usually built pretty good, but you pay out the ass for them.
agree 100% and as much as love the tube amp sound, prices are beyond nuts today for a new one and repairs as well. Looking at Fractal Axe FX III since has every amp possible and through powered cab a good solution.
@@GuitarsAndSynths Digital equipment is also prone to developing faults, but what’s worse is (unlike analogue) digital can’t easily be repaired.
I love this amp... Nice...
It’s my understanding that the EQ, section is unity gain so the 12 o’clock is on, left is cut, and right is add.
Solid state amps don't sound bad. It's typically a combination of user error and the fact that they're probably using the stock speaker that it came with. The VOTW speakers aren't bad, but they're not my personal taste. Glenn Fricker did a video about changing the stock speakers in a Behringer cab and the difference was night and day. Same with the Peavey Sheffield speakers, the OG ones.
With how things are going right now, I honestly kinda hope we see more of these JFET amps, and I think it would be cool to see some of those "solid state tubes" implementing JFET's, as tubes and tube amps are getting a bit more pricey
But I digress, I really want one of these. They're fucking sick
Great vid Jarrod, very capable amp! Orange generally make good gear, I just can't love their bright orange tolex. The Supercrush also 'looks' cooler imho. I know this has nothing to do with the tone, but something about listening with our eyes? Hahaha. If you haven't check out the Quilter 202- another damn impressive Solid State amp for the rockers in a small form factor.
Thank you. I agree with you regarding the esthetics. I do like how this one looks as well.
I think Orange is a cool color, but it looks weird on amplifiers.
Now I want to try out ther petal baby.
You can get it with Black tokex.
I'm a big fan of solid state amps since it's easy to get decent tone at lower volumes. But this one seems like it would be tempting me to crank it all the time. Great vid and nice amp. It hits way above its price point
Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked the video... honestly, I had my doubts, I thought I was not gonna like this amplifier at all. I was very surprised.
I thought it was a bit crispy at the end with the gains. But the OD still gave me the same reaction you had.
Eq in the fx return answers that
I did a little research on these. I'm seriously thinking about grabbing one of these to use as a power amp for my helix. The preamp on that uses JFETS, from my research, those react really similar to tubes. Colin over at CSGuitars has a whole video on it. The power section on that amp is actually the pedalbaby. It's class a/b. You're feeling the push pull that you'd get from a tube amp. The head is only like $60 more then the stand alone pedalbaby as well. Might as well buy the head and have a decent backup incase my helix floor decides to take a shit mid set, ya know....
I played through the original at a guitar center a few years ago and really liked it. $500 I may have to get it lol
And now......everyone can see per this review, why Ty Tabor from King's X sounds so MASSIVE live. SUPERB review :-)
Thank you!!
I don’t know tone wise if there’s a better solid state out there… That’s pretty warm without a lot of mud and still has a good brightness with it. I’d like to hear one on a 7 or 8 string and really pushed.
One thing about this amp nobody mentions is that when you crank it up to max, it dosent sound bad like older solid state heads used to. I know because i ran it threw my 1960a and my over-sized mesa 412 opened up to max. I generally always use my triple rec or my 6505 all the time but I had to buy this and try it out. This really is a fun amp for the price. Only down side is it isnt quite loud enough if your competing against another guitar player using a 100watt tube head. If they make a 200 plus watt model it would be interesting. I dont regret my purchase tho, really great sounding solid state amp!
Before I used a fryette powerstation to power my kemper, I used the pedal baby. Very tube like tones
Cool nice vid Jarrod!
Still have yet to try the Class A/B Power Supply myself in the Orange Super Crush or the same in the Pedal Baby 100. I Hear nothing but good things about them in regards to the feel and response to play them. I have a love/MEH relationship with my Katana which also uses a Class A/B power supply. Sounds great but sometimes it can't fool me and go back to my tube amps...Interested to seeing about these too. BUT Not gassing them now ...PS just got a Jim root Tele.....:)
the pedal baby is really good. I use it all the time with my synergy. and the volume doesn't drop when I use my old 16ohms Marshall. I wish it had a fx loop, and a XLR out. but I still would prefer it over the power stage. congratulations on the Jim Root. baby bit envoys. I want one. lol
Good job, Would have liked to of scene a back-to-back clip of the amp with /with the boost.
I haven't played through one of these yet, but it amazes me just how Orange it sounds. The thing is, SS amps just don't feel right to me. It's all in how it feels when you dig in and play hard. It just isn't the same as a tube amp.
It's that A/B power section. the push pull feel, like a tube does. and the volume doesn't drop out at 16ohms because of how they design the power section. I have a pedal baby that uses the same power section. it works great for my synergy.I personal like the OR50, it has enough gain and the presence or punch 👊 tightens it up. and with modern pedals we have these days it can get really mean. but everything sounds great on your end. I will have to take a look at it.
Thanks for commenting. Yeah, I agree, that power section is better than I thought it would be on this amplifier
@@TONEWARSgearshow it's really shocking. I have Fayette v2, and the pedal baby is right there with. The price is well worth both. The v2 is still better but not by much. Now the Fryette features are well above everything but pure tone they both are great.
It's a great amp, and it's at a fantastic price point....I recommend Orange Crush to anyone on a budget. The latest Boss katana's are pretty good bang for the buck too.
It def does the Orange thing on a budget.
This thing freaking rocks. For price point. Versatility. Always prefer solid state over tubes.
Hey man, what do you do for a day gig?
You look like a good strong guy, get massive amounts of work done, hell yeah, I’ll bring my shovel!!
You squeezed a plentiful evil outta that machine, your hands/chord voicing were very powerful dude, ANIMALHEAD..
Thanks for commenting. I own a pressure washing business..
I've been doing it for 23 years now.
Lots of hard work and good exercise.
I love the the way these thing sounds with huge open chords, however, I’ve never been a fan of the incredibly woofy sound you get when you palm mute and chug with these things. Sounds like in this demo you managed to get a pretty tight sound. Is it possible to tighten this thing up a bit?
I think if I would have backed the gain down a little bit it would have tightened up more.
Definitely my favourite demo of this amp. I bought the head last year when it came out in Europe in October. Been having a hard time dialling it in. I think it’s the cab I’m using: a small Marshall 1x12 with a crappy Celestion in it. What would be a good cab speaker recommendation? 2x12 with V30‘s? I do love the amp but something in my rig is not up to par…Cheers for the content!
Thanks for commenting. I would highly recommend the Mesa 212
@@TONEWARSgearshow Thank you will do!
So far I'm sold on this amp, I have a bugera333 XL all tube and a carvin MTS 3200 all tube.. both need to be put in the shop. The bugera will be it's 4th time I think I'm done with tubes after this video hahahaha
Thanks for commenting. I'm glad this video helped you. If you get the amplifier, feel free to let me know your thoughts.
It does have that Pepper Keenan vibe to it.
I've been using mine through a cab made for a 200 watt head, and I feel like the speakers are pretty old. I should get a proper cabinet for this head, because mine sounds nothing like this.
I been wanting that Amp because of this price, no way I could afford a rockerverb, not these days.
Im starting to really like Orange amps. I feel as if they dont get the love, and recognition that they deserve. Especially from the metal community.
they do there amongst the biggest names out there.
That's what Crowbar uses
Anyone know if this can chug straight out of the box? Or will it need a boost to help it
What was that overdrive pedal? I wasnt expecting any amp to sound that good in a mix... let alone an Orange solid state. One of the better recorded classic metal tones ive ever heard (and ive heard trillions).
I believe it was the Mud Killer pedal
do you do master volume up, channel volume down or the opposite?
Is this good for stoner rock? Sleep like tones? How does it sound when cranked? I've heard of reports that it gets very harsh when you push it
I am still on the fence between this crush 100 and the Marshall dsl 40 they are both the same price i am a beginner at 58 years young only been playing for 9 months now that my 3 kids are grown and the basement is all mine lol ,but really though would you consider this a good choice i do like the no maintenance option of solid state but to me through the internet haven't heard one live yet it allways seems muffled but maybe that there cabinet covering they use over the speakers on all there cabinets thats the orange sound i guess ,but to my ears its seems the Marshall dsl 40 delivers that crisp high gain crunch more pronounced but thats the Marshall sound i guess i got a Marshall code 50 to begin with and have hated the sound sence the beginning but it was cheap and got me into playing again in everyones opinions do you prefer that solid state orange sound that maybe could be better through a different 2x12 cabinet with a set of to your liking speakers and dont get me wrong it sounds pretty good maybe i am asking to much from a solid state circuit lol but is the Marshall the way to go with the dsl 40 for that classic crunch or do you think the orange can deliver with a good pedal and a different 2x12 thanks and play everyday it my mental medication 💊 😉 that hot woman and my motorcycle it keeps my sanity 😂😂😂😂😂❤
Will it sound goos with a peavey 212c cab i wonder. Loaded woth a vintage 30 and a g12 speaker
Boost in front, Eq in rear will match any amp out there, imo
I was hoping that you would use the Amp with the 2 , 12's Celestine speaker cabinet... I'm huge fan of celestion , my opinion they make a crap amps sound fantastic
the only thing holding me back this from swapping out my CR120 combo for this head (i have PPC cabs now) is the tone is possibly slightly darker on the CR120 (which I prefer) but mainly because they got rid of the 3 reverb options so you can't get spring/ plate / hall - only plate - why did they do that?
Are you serious telling us that the reverb is that important? Do you really use it at all? Even if you do, do you really change between the settings??
Reverbs on amps are only to be used because you don't have a reverb pedal/multi fx at hand, it's a non issue, for a feature that barely get used, if at all
@@JohnWiku I use the plate setting I don't like spring reverb which is all the SC has . Plus I'm a fan of the lower headroom clean channel for a nice warm breakup
Whats your opinion on modeling stuff? Helix, kemper etc.?
I think it all has its place. IMHO the Kemper is really good. The rest of them are all good to.
Rokken with Dokken my man
Can you switch between channels on a foot switch
Im a novice at this but find mu Orange Crush 100 sounds better on the clean channel with a distortion pedal than on the dirty channel with a boost. What do you guys think?
Which distortion pedal
@@Count_Apollyon5 I use a Joyo Uzi.
Just got this amp... Is it normal for it to be so quiet even with both the volume and master on noon? Mine doesn't get loud until both volumes are at about 3oclock and beyond. I also have to crank the treble and gain all the way up with an overdrive to be even remotely decent with high gain metal tones. I'm a little disappointed with mine...
I had to crank the gain and hit it with an overdrive as well. As long as an amp has enough gain with an overdrive pedal, it works for me.
I honestly can't remember the volume settings when I reviewed it though.
@@TONEWARSgearshow after spending more time with the amp it appears you need to crank the master and then adjust the channel volume to taste. Strange but it seems it's designed this way after talking to a couple other owners as well.
@@KaddysJamKave that sounds familiar. I'm glad you got it figured out
Hey Jarrod!
What do you keep leaning over to turn off?
Probably the Boost pedal
Aaah!
Thank tou
Using a class A/B power section, which unlike a class D power section in most solid states, it holds up in the head room. Class D power when pushed will clip the signal before it peaks and make it glassy and brittle. Although solid state does require more power to push the amp into clipping than tubes. But I will say Orange have definitely taken a step in the right direction for solid state amplification. Also their JFET pre amp section, but I don't the physics behind that, so it still confuses me a bit.
Go try a quilter amp as the overdrive 200, a tb201 or the mach3. They have tone of warmth and headroom. Pat Quilter is a genius
@@jmasson3272 I'll check them out. Cheers. And they're all solid state?.
@@felinekaiju4517 yes
@@felinekaiju4517 the mach 3, has more warmth than any if m'y tube amps. And these are class D. But that's because there are well built. Technology is nothing if you don't have a good understanding of how make a good amp. Pat Quilter has a long history in tubes and then solid state amps. To me he's a real innovator and makes high end solid states that have their own great sounds
Dokken!
Would you say the supercrush is as loud as a 50w tube amp?
Good question. I haven't shot it out with a tube amp, so I really couldn't give you a definitive answer. Sorry
The real question is where is your Driftwood Purple Nightmare! I don’t see it on your wall of epicness!
I don't see the ENGL Fireball 100!
I sold it to fund another purchase. I want a Wizard MTL MKII
It's gonna be up for sale soon
@@TONEWARSgearshow I hear good things about those Wizard amps. Never seen inside of one, so I am not sure about the build-quality.
Do you think Boss SD-1 will kick the dirty channel enough?
Absolutely
That style of the song in the mix is where this amp shines. I dont particularly like it for deathcore, modern metal, etc. I owned the original and got rid of it almost immediately. I really want to like it.
Thanks for cometing.
I've found that the Orange amps are definitely very genre specific.
Is that a PRS MT100 on ur shelf?
I wish. It's the MT15
what pickups n guitar you use in this demo amp orange bro
The EBMM Majesty with Sonic Ecstasy pickups
@@TONEWARSgearshow sounds your pickups same like dimarzio crunch lab
@@thomasthomas9740 they have more output and low end
I have this amp amp it has the tone of a toy battery powered amp with a bad clone of a big muff pedal running through it but louder.
Uhh what cabinet are you using? Lol
compare Orange Super Crush 100 vs marshall MG
Dude the orange kills it imo
Marshall rules the world !!!!
@Robert B. true but the orange compared to the MG series super crush wins
Ridiculous amount of Chug.
After watching your demo I am to conclude the amp doesn't have a clean tone, because if it did surely you would demo that as well. You see gain for the most part can be had by a pedal or an amp, but a clean tone cannot be faked with a pedal, it is all amp. I judge amps by how well it does both clean and dirty because after playing for 50 solid years, I use a lot of clean tones these days and every day in my career.
I’ve got the predecessor and it has a great clean channel, can even pushed to that slight break up thing.
Sounds kind of muffled
You always have too much gain is my main criticism.
Thanks for commenting. If I'm using the same channel for rhythm and lead, I use more gain. For just rhythms, I use less gain .
