That's got to be one of the best "shocked" reactions I've seen for this video. Rob studied opera in college over 15 years ago while Austin studied musical theater.
I've seen many people react to this amazing display of talent, but no one who was so mesmerized as you. And it is mesmerizing. Still stuns me and I'm sure I've seen it at least 50 times.

Your reaction is right up there with the best I've seen so far which was an Italian opera singer/reactor who said she not only forgot they weren't opera singers she also forgot they weren't Italian. Years ago Robs vocal coach said he could have a HUGE career in opera. Thank God he joined Home Free.
In an interview with Patrol Gaming, Austin said that he'd really wanted to show off "opera" Rob but Rob said he wouldn't unless Austin sang it with him. Austin went on to say he thought he been okay but that Rob was fantastic. I love the way they support each other. Rob had extensive training in opera but hadn't sung it in 15 years; Austin had some training in it but his degree is in Musical Theater.
Loved when he reached for the blanket (why didn't I think of that the first time I watched?) and then when you just fell back I was screaming That's right You Know it ! LOL my neighbors already think I'm at least half mad with all the sounds I make while watching HF videos LOLOL Good Job ! So dang Proud of Home Free such Solid Talent , not 1 diva in the group and clearly they respect/ trust/ and love each other like Family.
The capability of excellence by each of the individuals in this group is off the charts awesome that allows them the flexibility to do so many types of vocalizations and to do it exceptionally well. I have not found a genre they are afraid to tackle whether individually or as a group they are amazing. ❣
You eyes say it all ! You go into culture shock with Rob’s beautiful diction of the Italian language and then Austin nails it vocals so well. My favorite part is when the come together and sing in sync perfectly at the end ! Beautiful just beautiful
Great reaction! I have never been a big fan of opera except maybe some Andrea Bocelli & a few others. But I have always appreciated the talent it takes to sing opera. I was pretty impressed with Rob & Austin's version of Nessun Dorma. I have heard this famous song done by Pavarotti. I think I was more surprised by Rob's range & powerful delivery than even Austin's. Pretty good for a couple of country boys! Nice to see them dressed up in suits & looking classy.
Such a treat! But seriously, Rob sounds like a different artist than we hear when he sings with Home Free! I don't care for opera, but these two "tried" and did what I didn't expect--they made me want to watch it over and over again. Who knew? 🤭

Rob is a classically/operatically trained vocalist. Austin is a theatrically trained singer. You make more money in Country music than Opera and theatre. If you have listened to Pentatonix, their original bass, Avi Kaplan, is also a classically trained Basso Profundo. He made millions with Pentatonix the six years he was with them than most do in a couple of lifetimes and he also sings country, western and folk music.
