And what is " the cause of Britain? " Subjugation of native people across the globe perhaps? The empowerment of slavery? Creating the middle east crisis? Or maybe this display is just masking the disaster of leaving the European Union, which has resulted in "Britain....ie England and Wales" being ever more isolated in the world wrt economic growth and political influence. Remember to that "our boys" are now a minority in NI and are part of the UK, not Britain or Great Britain. Have a nice day.

It's a matter of opinion I guess. I don't know if you're from Northern Ireland or not but this style of playing was born in response to IRA attacks throughout the troubles. It was a way for Protestants to say we're going nowhere without resorting to violent means themselves. That's why it's louder than usual. If you notice on the band's bannerette there are 4 names of soldiers killed during the troubles that were also members of the band. I don't think these men would have an issue. I truly pray they can hear Castlederg's flutes & drums still going from heaven.

Guessing you're not from Northern Ireland the band itself is a form of blood and thunder flute band the style was created in the early 70s so obviously this was during the troubles when people was killed everyday by bomb and gun they style itself was based on the sound of war as a form of message to Irish Republicans many of members of these style of bands were serving soldiers and many have been killed in battle may it been at home during the troubles or serving in Iraq and Afghanistan so in a way those bands do honour the dead in a Northern Irish way now take this band in particular its from Castlederg which was a hotspot during the troubles so they know what it's like being bombed and shot at regularly for 30 years then they carry Ulster Defence Regiment flags which was the home service Regiment from 1970-92 and they were the British Armys backbone to combat IRA terrorism so its a matter of opinion if you think its a honour to the dead or not but here in Northern Ireland it very much is an hour and the men who died serving over here will be proud to hear that bass drum from the gates of heaven
