I used to be in a flute band years ago when i was a teenager, and funnily enough, i played the flute. It was the Baillieston band, I loved it but got older and hecame more interested in going to the student union after uni most days so stopped going to band practice. Most of my family have been and are still in flute bands but ive no even been to the big walk in years. I miss it, deffo gonna try and go this year, theres nothing like playing a flute in the middle of all the drumming 😊 absolutely awesome video, fantastic band! I always look out for them when i do get to go to walks!

That's the sort of marches i like to see. My dad played the flute in a military band. They had some uncomplimentary words about the Sergeant major to one of those tunes i remember. He would have hated what's going on in London every saturday. His mum and grand parents came from London. He always wanted to go to Scotland. He set out in June 1976 in a camper van but turned back when he got to the lake district because it was too cold! That was before cc of course. Although July and August that year was the hottest i remember.
