I would like to apologise for the glaring error in the titles at the start showing King Charles II and not III as it should be. This was edited after a long day and is a simple mistake. Thank you to those in the comments who have pointed this out.
Due to the complex logical nature of getting so may service personnel into London and keeping inline with prior coronation traditions of troops arriving by train and marching from Waterloo Station and over Westminster Bridge to Wellington Barracks, this method was chosen adding even more spectacle to the main event and adapting the usual "march back to barracks" that usually occurs at the end of events and also providing a unique look at almost every British military band playing one by one as they march past!
Troop left Waterloo station at around 0715 that morning and returned at around 1500 when this video was taken.

Great to see so many Commonwealth troops on parade. Including those from my homeland, Canada.

The magnificent, resplendent, disciplined ‘Mounties’ … just an absolute joy. Leading the Gold Coach. What a glorious sight. 🫡 🇨🇦

There were some Aussies as well. Khaki and slouch hats is a dead giveaway.
@@impunitythebagpuss Looking smart as ever, as do your troops.
Ceremony matters. I know it can sometimes feel a bit weird, but monumental ceremonial events like a coronation really do make a difference. It’s what we do, and always should do.
Its really admirable , noble ceremony foa nation who is really great.. congrats... GOD SAVE THE KING💛
Tradition matters. It carries us through the centuries upholding a beacon of light through the darkest times!
Why? Most of the aspects of the ceremonies are only a couple of hundred years old. Why should what just started being done two hundred years ago, should be done forever?
@@MKRM27 To respond to your question of "why?", I'd invite you to reflect on what happens in totalitarian government-run countries, when culture and tradition are wiped out, and just hope it never happens here (although I can see that's the way our education system is pushing students) and I believe that it will happen here.
Orwell, in his book, '1984' put it so well:
"And when memory failed and written records were falsified-when that happened, the claim of the Party to have improved the conditions of human life had got to be accepted, because there did not exist, and never again could exist, any standard against which it could be tested."
@@yvonnewalesuk8035Well said. Bravo!

Congratulations to absolutely everyone involved in putting this show on the road.
Your very hard work is appreciated ❤❤
It most certainly did. Also proud to have the Kiwis take part in the ceremony, along with all of the other overseas territories and members of the Commonwealth. 👏🏻❤️ This was a day where by extension, all of our nations got to shine.

@@donaldduck7461 sadly the term liberal is now an oxymoron.- liberal they most certainly are not ( and they are only democratic if democracy agrees with them ) .
So proud to have our ANZAC equals with us thank you.
In both the Queens funeral and today, it’s the military marches that bring a lump to my throat, and make me so proud to be British.
It's not the only reason to be proud. You've given the world a true gift: your language, English.
@@yvonneplant9434 During the 17th century, French replaced Latin as the most important language of diplomacy and international relations (lingua franca). It retained this role until approximately the middle of the 20th century, when it was replaced by English as the United States became the dominant global power following the Second World War. Stanley Meisler of the _Los Angeles Times_ said that the fact that the Treaty of Versailles was written in English as well as French was the "first diplomatic blow" against the language.
Absolutely
Garbage , complete drivel By the late 18th century, the British Empire had spread English through its colonies and geopolitical dominance. Commerce, science and technology, diplomacy, art, and formal education all contributed to English becoming the first truly global language. English also facilitated worldwide international communication. England continued to form new colonies, and these later developed their own norms for speech and writing. Today, English was adopted in parts of North America, parts of Africa, Australasia, and many other regions

From Britain's oldest colony, Newfoundland; there is no nation that can do this sort of thing like Britain. Even after a long hard day, immaculate and precise. Well done
Much respect from this Briton for Newfoundland. It should never be forgotten the duty and sacrifice shown by our cousins there in the service of the mother country. Newfoundland Memorial Park at Beaumont Hamel is one of the most moving places I've ever been to.

As the son of an American soldier I lived in Germany when I was a child (1970's). My family visited London, Brighton, Stratford-upon-Avon. My Mom was an Anglophile and made us memorize the Kings and Queens of England on road trips through Europe. She made a song out of it. When I grew up I joined the Marine Corps (because my Father made me promise him I would not join the Army). He had seen the horrors of war in Vietnam. 10 years in service then Afghanistan, then Iraq. Served with your Marines and soldiers. My LOVE for Great Britain swelled from there. Watching so many coronation videos today has made my love for your people/nation that much stronger. God save King Charles and the UK!! Much love, respect, from thousands of miles away from this American and no doubt millions more. We LOVE you and hope you feel the same. ♥
Thankyou for your kind words. ❤🌹

U.K. stands for United Kingdom. To begin with, even this “unity”, is a fake, it is an imposition. The Acts of Union passed by the English and Scottish Parliaments in 1707 led to the creation of the United Kingdom. Ever since then Scotland and real Scottish people are trying to bail-out of the “union” and become independent. But England like an Octopus with eight-limbed mollusc doesn’t let them go and become independent. The die already has been cast. U.K. is nothing more than England, no matter how the Aristocratic Class in that country present it to the world. Run by suppressors, against suppressed. Run by masters, against slaves. Run by those who have, against those who don’t. Australia, U.S. and U.K. are slaves of Israel and they are war criminals too and that includes you too.
Where are the ENGLISH crowds
Magnificent. Thousands of men marching and not one step out of place. Never tire of watching these ceremonies. The only time we get to see anything remotely close to this in Australia, is on ANZAC Day. God Bless them all. 🇦🇺🇬🇸
Always love to see Australian Troops here, thank you to all of our Australian Friends.
Thankyou from the UK for that wonderful post .
This was a masterclass in logistics. What an inspired choice, to use the commuter rail network to move these military formations from Garrisons, Air Stations and I'm assuming the Navy & Marines came up from Pompey, on passenger trains - brilliant; even Gretta Thunberg can't complain ;)
Waterloo provides routes to Aldershot, Pirbright at the least. I hope this “army” got at least a lunch before marching across the Thames to Waterloo

Proud of every single one of them did their duty for King and Country today, was executed perfectly by everyone involved, a great day to go down in history. God Save The King! 🇬🇧
I couldn’t agree more. I usually watch trooping the colours every year and the Kings birthday celebrations on the regular, and you can usually see some faults here and there or the men not being properly in alignment. This can be really annoying when your parents might be a veteran, and they can clearly see the differences and you yourself notice them. Thankfully, for the coronation, none of this was present. Everybody did their duty perfectly from beginning to end, and all of the roles were done to the very best of their abilities. It was spectacular to witness, and they have done our country, proud as well as all of the other members of the Commonwealth and all who participated. We cannot thank them enough.I can only imagine what it must’ve been like for Queen Elizabeth the second‘s coronation when there was more than double the amount of troops taking part. Obviously we have footage of this, but it’s hard to compare with HD/4K colour footage we have now.
a corrupt man Charles von Battenberg to use their German name, Mountbatten and Windsor are made up names not found in history to hide their German origin. He took millions in cash from Qatar in suitcases. Good at least to see he still believes in cash for some transactions. Harry and his Prince and Princess children top off this bunch of rats.
That is a wonderful record of British Marching Bands, thank you to all concerned, especially the soldiers themselves.
They are NOT marching bands, they are Military bands, very different things.

Thank You to all the security officers, guards and police force who stood for hours and in the rain. Everyone has earned a well earned good night's sleep 💤.
And Congratulations to the horse Guards for doing such an amazing job on wet streets, the horses deserve an extra rub down.
Are any of these bands axillary members in them.?
Well Thanks for your pleasant comment.
I as a dual national English/German was once a translator in the German Bundeswehr and actually translated an S.A. for all foreign forces and the subject was the British Armed Forces Regimental System. Especially the American Liason Officer was interested in the origins and system from the top brass down to the freshly recruited soldier to be.
It is this system that allows our forces to be top professional ànd unlike any other armed force in the world. The Commonwealth forces all contribute to our 100% dedicated and proud forces. See the Gurkhas!!!!!
These are the Americans we need!
I would suggest that everyone of those marching were proud as punch marching for the coronation. Not everyday that happens...something to tell their grandkids. They might be the ranks of Private, or higher...but each of them had every reason to be proud yesterday.
From a British Man I'd like to Thankyou my American cousin across the Pond .

@@ruairidhmunro well thank you for the correction, but when I speak of "England and the Commonwealth" I am all inclusive. I just assumed that anyone reading my post would know that I am Including Scotland, Ireland and Wales. I didn't realize that if I didn't say the UK that I had to include each place individually!
Your post made me cry , I salute you
God Save the King, mate
To watch this made me cry, to watch this as we Germans possess none of it. No pride for our country or traditions, our traditions destroyed, that makes me feel so uprooted. So touched to see all these beautiful uniforms, full of meaning, a real art and legacy, the culture, the preserverance of the tradition. Dont let the woke modern world take this away from you. I so love the british culture.
You are British culture… just because we had a scrap it’s ok.
I’m American. We put flags up (i don’t) to display our loyalty, similar to the large amounts of military parades the uk conducts. I think as a country we need to be less ignorant and citizens need to open up more to foreign cultures. In addition the us lacks a tradition unfortunately bc we don’t really have an identity…
@@bradleyhall7728 I don’t think the UK has that many military parades. There’s been a great many recently because of so many events happening close together: the death of Prince Philip and funeral processions, Queen’s platinum jubilee, the death of the Queen and her funeral processions, the King’s coronation, all within two years. Brits are rather less overtly patriotic than the US. They sing/play the national anthem at certain times and events, but they find the US attitude to the flag and those pledges of allegiance with hand over heart to be definitely OTT. They are so tiny compared with the US, and so much older as a nation that it’s natural to have deeper and more unified cultural roots. In Canada we don’t have many military parades either. We tend to lean closer to the UK culture than the US, but we have incorporated much from our neighbours. It’s sometimes an uneasy mix. BTW, to us outsiders the US definitely has a strong identity!
Don’t feel so bad D. Schmitz . I have been on holiday in Spain and seen my fellow Brits all getting drunk and making fools of themselves while the German tourists all behaved with great dignity
I served in Germany ( Minden) in the 70s, tonight for dinner I had a Currywurst mit Chips !!! My little treat !!
Wonderful video! Great scenery in front of Parliament! Thank You so much! Greetings from Germany!
Magnificent! The bagpipes are outstanding.
Absolutely spectacular, what with the actual marching by the troops, the highest quality of the music played by the many various Military Bands and the incredible organisation created by the GSM and others, this whole performance is just superb.
A Massive thank you for sharing this amazing video. And a massive thank you to all the armed forces who took part today (military bands included) and all those night exercises. Everyone did us proud
U.K. stands for United Kingdom.
Well done to all troops an soldiers a long long day for you all back now an a well deserved beer❤❤❤💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🐴🐴🐴🎶🎶🎶🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Thanks so much for posting this. It was great👍 Like another poster I was sad that more music wasn’t shown by the broadcasters. A good day, even if the weather wasn’t perfect! Thanks
My sincere compliments to the English people as to the professionalism of your armed forces. A retired U.S. Army soldier.
I am not Brit but feel so proud of this astonishing militar heritage

I think they all marched with a real swagger and with so much pride today - well done they were amazing x
When I see the procession and the marching bands I am so proud to be English born , living in Canada. “Nobody does it like the Brits” - how true! - MARJORIE MONTGOMERY😊 4:34
London is such a fascinating city. Just came back. Great people, great food. I was amazed how efficiently the city transport worked - a city to be proud of! Love from Denmark ❤
Perfect all of them!!!
As an American, this was fantastic to watch and emotional for the military marches and drums
This was the best bit of the day. Magnificent sight.
I've just smiled and smiled and smiled, while covered in goose bumps and Oooooozing pride. I'm not a military person ( although have worked 34yrs in the NHS, hahaha 🤣, !!!!!) But any sane, grateful and honest person must only be able to shout from the inside out..... " Thank you, thank you all, for putting yourself on the line for us..." As with many others, we really do absolutely nail Pomp. Bravo 👏 Oooozing pride ❤❤
Fabulous so proud of them all! What an amazing experience.❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
This was great to see. I was a military brat and got to see military bands in the 70s and 80s in Germany and Gibraltar quite a bit and loved them, especially when they came to the school playground. Now as an adult and a musician, it's just bloody impressive. They must be knackered! Thanks for sharing this.
So much history represented in all those uniforms, Proud to say that i was once a part of that. Well done to all those involved.
Everyone involved in the coronation should feel so very proud, what fantastic thing so much coordination amazing to see, like nothing else on earth.

The troops look amazing!!!! Thank you for your service to your King and country.
Best Army in the world. Beautiful to watch, drills definitely not the easiest thing in the army, hours of practices and rehearsals you boys just mastered this.
And girls!
Troops from Commonwealth countries were in the procession. The Bahamas at 10:00. Great recording.
@BLR general term boys, that covered the whole troops on parade lol. We knew the commonwealth countries playing a massive role in the British Army, and army recruiting from there. Served 9 years in an infantry regiment myself, moment you served a day you're part of the boys.
Navy, Marines and Air Force.....?
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing this! Cheers from California 🇺🇲 🇬🇧
The best Military bands are the bands in England. Love the music and everything what they do. ❤❤❤
UK, not just England!
(When will people learn?!?!) 🙄
So proud of these men and women if they're there. Love to them march. They leave a lump in my throat. I'm sure the king felt the same way.
Love this! They all did themselves proud!!! I hope they got home safely 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
