Yeh Rubies, Padparadscha, Sapphires, Emeralds are all rarer than diamond. Diamond's value is in how it's the hardest gemstone, can't be scratched/cut by anything else, and since hardness is on a relative scale of rank that means Diamond is the highest ranking gemstone.

After thinking on who created the Diamonds, I though about what if it’s not a ‘who’ but a ‘what’? Like what if HomeWorld is a rare place that made the Diamonds giving it the name HomeWorld. And taking that in mind what if that’s how the new Gem is made, from another HomeWorld?
That’s just my thoughts and it might of been thought of before, but I thought it would be neat to talk about.
I just had a thought,
The new Diamond Authority could be the focus of season 6
And the movie could be the death of the new pink diamond
So it could be season 1-5 all over again, but in just one or two seasons

Pink made her as a result in a pearl but she might of took longer than pink expected Pink lost motivation and left she emerged after pink left Spinel/Pink Zirconia found out her Diamond and thinks pink abandoned her. Seeking revenge on Pink Diamond realizing Steven is the new Pink Diamond, And she wants revenge.
