One of the best looking bikes in 2022 imo.
thanks bro, have the same in that color too :D But I have some nicer specs :P
No way with those welds
U mean sl7😂 but in alu?
This frame is one of the best in terms of looks, carbon and aluminium included
DIB SPORTS IS THE BEST!!!
Rayananananan
Nice work!
Forgot to mention that giant oval crank
Nice bike!
Osymetric 52/38
Great video!
You are getting pretty good at the bike presentation/breakdown. One suggestion though, if you wear a microphone the sound of your voice won't be reduced by the background noise.
Thanks Kurt! Hope Japan is treating you well. You are missed out here in OC!
Man, I always love gun metal color.
Let's go!
Less grease on the 54t 🎶 to my 👂
Love this build, very clean. What size is the roval alpinist handlebar/stem? And how do you keep your brake lines so tidy?
Thank you! Roval bars/stem are 42cm wide and 120mm. Brake lines are connected with a c-clip thing that comes with some kits. Pretty common part used on MTB for connecting the cables.
@@dib_sports why so wide on the hoods? Have similar setup and running 38cm C/C on the hoods with flared out drops at 40cm....get low get narrow... Free speed!
@@chiefrocker12 A 42cm bar on a size 58 frame is considered narrow as the industry standard is 44cm for a size 58cm. As with anything, I never advocate or recommend specific saddles, bar width, stem length, seat-height, etc. as no individual is the same. There is a lot more to consider regarding bar width than free speed. In some cases, it may make you slower and decrease control of the bike. Just depends on a lot of things...
❤
What’s up man? Did you had the previous generation?
Is this a fast bike ?
Thanks for sharing👍🏽
Hi Aldrin! Yes, I still have a rim-brake version (the original) version of this frame. A bike is only fast as the person pedaling it but I would say this bike is a solid choice for those seeking a Tarmac / SL7 style bike with a budget. It's been great so far.
@@dib_sports how much did the your previous allez sprint weight with what specs? thanks
@@th24gg19 I believe it hovered around 16.5 lbs with a sram force 1x groupset, enve 3.4's, enve bars & stem, and speedplay pedals.
@@dib_sports awsome thanks! Planning on building up a rim brake allez sprint in the future so i guess it's realistic to say bringing the weight down on it will be a bit easier
@@dib_sports Gotta ask, when you compare the two generations which one did you find more responsive and fun to handle/ride?
Hi, could u pls link the Tool bottle u use !? :)
I couldn' t find it online 🙈
Pretty nice build by the way 🤙
And last question. How tall are u ? And what is ur inside leg lenght?
I'am planning a allez sprint build for myself and i am 6.1, but i have short legs 🥲 inside leg lenght is 87.5cm.
Thanks 🤙
Hello. Here is the link; dibsports.com/collections/dib-bottle
I am about 6'2" and run a sz58 frame.
Thank u very much 🤙
What did you use for the rear Di2 cable grommet? Did you just leave the rear Di2 cable port exposed?
Didn't use anything. No grommet.
What's the rear light?
Knog.
Please send link or name of that flat kit storage/water bottle!
Nevermind. Found it. Love it.
Is that a "raw" frame? No Specialized decal?
There is a specialized logo on the headtube and 'specialized' written on the downtime like most models,, however, the light needs to hit it at a certain angle for it to show. It's very minimalist.
@@dib_sports Well I'm a huge fan!
What’s the name of the water/storage bottles bro 👍
dib sports dib bottle - www.dibsports.com
What brand/model is the backlight ?
Knog.
Nice bike presentation. Bad mic sound. get closer or clip-on mic. About the bike break-down presentation. Everyone is looking at your crank/chainring setup. No words on this? Im sure that's not standard. ;-) BTW.. Im in the market for exactly same Allez Frame. Same color scheme and size 58.. Thanks
Thanks! They are Osymetric 52/38 Rings covered in the previous video. Appreciate the feedback.
No way David 🌽ell
Also, what's an approx. total retail cost for this build?
I would have to spend a bit of time penciling it all out, but quick guess at MSRP would be around $7,500.
@@dib_sports I appreciate the insight! I'm evaluating how much of a deal I have with my recent bike purchase. The frame is from ~2014 Jack Kane carbon Nighthawk SL with a SRAM Red/Force 2x10 groupset, carbon cockpit and seatpost, aerospoked alloy rims... For $190.
@@mydearriley That's a steal.
@@dib_sports Estate sale win! I'm shopping for new tires to replace the Hutchinson Fusion 3's and, given the deal I've already got, I really shouldn't be as concerned about the price of new tires as I am X'D
What are your palmares?
how did you get that paint job?
It's stock from Specialized.
@@dib_sports what color is?
@@javiersantanderasitalcual8055 per the Specialized website; Aluminum/Color Run/Satin Logos
@@dib_sports amazing colors thanks 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Bike looks sexy af!
Thank you!
How much would this be?
It's actually very expensive when built up individually. I'd guess around $8K or more if going off MSRP.
Weight?
As noted in the videos description, 17.5lbs.
How tall are you?
About 6'2"
Sieht aus wie ein Billigrahmen , die Schweissnähte👎😬schön ist anders! Ausserdem ist der Rahmen brutal hart !
dura ace on an aluminum frame....yeah, alright xD
Hey dude, if you want to make a YT channel you need to get a microphone. Cheap way to really improve your videos.
Appreciate the feedback. Just throwing up vids for fun at the moment but will make an investment in the future. Thanks.
horrible welds same as last year...
I don't get the attraction to a bike that is going to cost $200 a month for the next 36 months. And those welds look like the frame was made by a blind man. Think about it, cheaply manufactured aluminum you will be paying on every month $200 for the next 3 years. 🤔😕👎👎
Not too sure what you just said but I am happy with both the quality and performance of the bike. I understand everyone has different opinions and that's ok. No problem.
