Mahomes should be #1 and I’m a Brady fan
This ranking is most likely based on the regular season tho, how can you argue with back to back mvps, also what did brady do last post season? Because last I remembered he got knocked out in the same round, so if you were going to put brady over rodgers you should've done it the year brady did win it all, doing it now doesn't make sense at all, but what else would you expect from a vikings fan
Football is a team sport and he’s still a better quarterback than Brady. Brady also didn’t make it past the divisional round
Nope. Tired of him and green Bay choking every year.
I agree, maybe he's one of the best talents of all time at QB, and a winner during the regular season, but if you can't come up when it counts in the playoffs then a player is above-average and not a superstar performer imo.
Comparing Tom Brady to Aaron Rodgers is like comparing Michael Jordan to Lebron James. People always pushing the debate, but in the end...the GOAT wins. Recall, before Aaron it was Peyton. One man standing at the end- the man with 7 rings.
Nah its not like that. Its way more disrespectful. Lebron has held his own. Not as good as Jordan but his career is to be respected. Rodgers got as many rings as Stafford and one was trapped in Detroit for 13 yrs
No, lebron has 4 championships compared to Jordan’s 6. Brady has 7 titles and Rodgers has 1. Comparing the two is just disrespectful to Brady. Period.

Regular szn MVP is a narrative award let’s be honest here.
How hard can it be to play the Lions twice a year for an entire career?
Probably as hard as playing Miami twice when no one was there, Buffalo with no Josh Allen, and a joke team called the jets 😂 so Tom had it easy his whole career and then goes to a loaded Tampa team with no one in that division a bress that can’t throw more then 15 yards
@@jonathanruiz362 Funny how Miami and Buffalo starts winning as soon as he leaves and the Pats immediately has a losing season, which never happened when Brady was their starting QB. The “loaded” Bucs team couldn’t make the playoffs before Brady got there. Meanwhile, Rodgers lost a playoff game at home when his defense only gave up 6 points.
Brady played dolphins, jets, bills for most of his career and all 3 teams were terrible soo you cant use that argument

It’s crazy to me that people forget that 6 or 7 of Brady’s 12 interceptions last year were tipped passes or dropped passes turned to INT’s

That’s what 9 of the last 12 interceptions from Rodgers have been
I think 3-4 were drops and 1 was a hail marry. Even if he still had more than Rodgers that's still impressive when you consider how much more he passed than rodgers.
For years, so many fans said "Rodgers is better. He just doesn't have a team, if he did he'd have like 10 superbowls!".
But the last few years Rodgers DID have killer teams that could make a run. The first time, Brady beat the breaks of them and blows the game off its hinges before Rodgers does anything. The second time, Rodgers had a comfortable lead he couldn't hold onto despite his defense playing rock solid. In 2014 his defense grabbed 4 picks for him, and even though he had a lead, he couldn't get a SINGLE first down in the 4th until Seattle took the lead, allowing the Seahawks to come back and win. And remind me, what did TB12 do to that exact same team WITHOUT his team getting multiple turnovers? Oh yeah, he won.
In no universe in Aaron Rodgers better than Tom Brady. If he was, he'd actually do something in the playoffs when he has a good team around him.

The past two seasons (last season especially) was the nail in the coffin for Rodgers imo. Back to back MVP seasons, no.1 seed, AND home field advantage. What does he have to show for it? Jack squat

The interception is an overvalued stat. Because it only counts for ONE possession. It's really only important WHEN, WHERE, WHY and WHAT happened after the interception occurred.
An interception thrown when you are already 2 TD's ahead in a game is NOT the same as throwing a pick 6 near the end of game when you are behind.
Also, is the effort to avoid throwing interceptions also MINIMIZING your ability to make WINNING plays? There is an argument that Aaron is TOO careful with the ball, especially in big, hotly contested games. And that might explain why as great as he has been he has only won ONE SuperBowl.

good u have an answer for your own silly comment. TEAM success. TEAM. he alone no matter how significant his role is; 1 out of 44 players aint gonna make a dent.
What about Marino or payton manning
Best 4 QBs. Brady, Montana, Elway and Peyton. Rodgers not even close to these 4
Exactly. Marino vs Rodgers a better debate
More fair to Rodgers that is
Answer, yes.
Haven’t watched but I know I’m going to hear “Thomas Edward Patrick Brady” 80 times
Look folks , the NFL MVP voting is rigged AF obviously by the Brady hating Commissioner . Brady was CLEARLY the MVP of the Regular Season in 2021 Regardless of Pick count . Rodgers has low Pick counts because he risks very little in his passing plays . Brady has to make it happen more carrying his team in more areas than just QB . So Brady throws into more Double teams than Rodgers does getting picked more . They just give the MVP to Rodgers as some Consulation prize for his Playoff meltdowns .
Brady led the NFL in most major categories . TDs , TDs of 20 or more yards , Overall Passing Yards , Record Completion totals , Completions of 20 yards or more , Wins .
Shannon Not So Sharpe is FOS. He would take QB burn out Trent Dilfer over Rodgers in the Playoffs every time .
Brady is 3-1 in the playoffs when throwing three interceptions
Rodgers is 1-3 in the playoffs when throwing three touchdowns
It’s Brady’s team is better. It’s not Brady
@@henry7765 Totally out of context . Brady throws Picks that are like Punts in the Playoffs . He is not throwing picks on his 20 Yard line or compromising his defense with dumb picks . Brady is known to protect the ball . Rodgers just hasn't inspired his team to play well when it matters simple as that . Rodgers just hasn't played well in the Playoffs overall . Rodgers basically has had the same Playoffs and NFC Title game problems as Donavan McNabb had . The 2011 Giants shut Rodgèrs down and only gave up 20 pts . The 2019 49ers thrashed him in the NFC Title Game and only gave up 20 points . He only scored 26 pts in 2021 NFC Title Game and blundered a potential Game winning third down play as well . Rodgers had the Best team in the NFL in 2012 and 2021 Playoffs with Home Field Advantage , but still couldn't get it done .
You're worrying about the NFL MVP voting being rigged but the actual games are scripted.
Rodgers what you call a hype plant(shill or stooge),He is here to make more people appreciate Tom brady even with the cheating allegation around Tom Brady. The NFL let him be Rodgers in the regular season with the media and NFL hyping him up as a Top 3 QB ever ,It's around either the divisional round or NFC Championship he follows a script to throw playoff games away and he's not the only one following a script on the packers.I remember when Morgan Burnett caught 1 of the 4 wilson interceptions being up 19-7 in the 2014-2015 NFC Championship but when he got the ball he gave himself up when he had two lanes with nothing but green grass in front of him to score 6.Then when Green Bay offense get the ball off of morgan Burnett turnover they ran the ball 3 downs after the turnover....Green Bay didn't even try to score any points on that drive or chew up clock Obviously don't need to tell you about how scripted the rest of the game is...Rodgers has been part of the most embarrassing scripted losses in the postseason I've seen from a Elite QB especially losing on a block punt while left to 10 points.
@@4thdimensional118 Rodgers is not losing Playoff Games or NFC Title game being any Stooge or Fall guy of rigged games . He is losing them because the pressure of winning in them is too much for him when he is winning so much in the Regular Season . Players sometimes have that expectation they will win every game . The Playoffs are a different level of pressure . Nobody wants to see that Stooge win a 3rd MVP in a row over the REAL MVP of the last 2 years , Tom Brady .
@@Mysterio-hk9gj Brady’s Bucs defense is the only reason that they beat the Packers in the playoffs. When Brady threw 3 ints in the 2nd half and his team still won.
The whole ‘Rodgers vs Brady’ debate is pretty much the same situation with Peyton Manning vs Brady in my eyes. Peyton was also the overall “better” quarterback than Brady… that is, all the way up to the point when it mattered most; the playoffs. Brady is the more clutch player as well as the better team leader than those 2; important aspects in a QB people tend to overlook or just flat-out ignore in these discussions. So many people only go by their eyes in evaluating a QB (oh look how pretty he can throw the ball!) while forgetting there’s a whole cerebral aspect that goes into playing the position.
Dude Brady played much worse than Rodgers when they faced off in the playoffs. But as usual Brady's better teammates & the refs carried him
Brady is not even close to being the better player, he just plays for the better team. Peyton & Rodgers both would win just as much if not more than him if they had his teams & his pure luck
@@randomguy8893 bruh stop brady better and it's not close
@@kbjr9423 At being on better teams, having refs bailing him out & being lucky af? Yes totally
@@randomguy8893 That was literally just one game and in which the second half the Bucs were already up by 18 after Brady had played outstanding and better than Rodgers in the first. Not to mention the fact that was Brady’s first year in an offense where he had to learn it during the COVID lockdowns.
On the other hand there are plenty of examples of Peyton and Rodgers looking unstoppable in the regular season and then underperforming and choking in the playoffs, often going 1 and done, especially on Peyton’s part. Even Dungy once referred to Manning’s performance in the postseason as to him “holding the bat a little too tight”.
It’s fine if you don’t like Brady, but saying he’s not even close to being the better player is just asinine and not even close to being objective. You mentioned his teams and luck but not the fact that Brady always took less money in order to leave cap space for more talent.
@@fairwarning007 He didn’t deserve as much money as those two. As for Brady underperforming in the play-offs, there are litany of games like that. Just because his team won or he is Tom Brady no one talks about em. He is an above average quarterback with insane luck & is usually surrounded by a superteam with players who are better at their role than he is
It’s a completely objective thing to say he isn’t as good as those two especially Rodgers who is the best qb to ever play the game. Team accomplishments will never change that
Is the regular season more important than the post season now?
Skip wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought he would be about the rodgers thing. Pleasantly surprised.
Aaron Rodgers is great when playing mediocre teams. The minute he has to play a top team with anything in the line he can't up his game. He isn't even at Peyton Mannings level. Nowhere close to Brady level. Just that Brady is the only one playing from that era so people keep comparing them.
???? So every team is mediocre for you?… wtf.. when Brady play in Patriots he only play against trash teams but nobody says that doesn’t count..it’s about stats, even Rodgers having worst team all this years..
@@valvaninhox Why is it when Aaron plays a playoff contender, he gets spanked? Because those are the good teams playing to win. Aaron is only good at beating teams he gets a lead on that plat poor. He won't even be good at that anymore either cause all the money he took from the team.
Mediocre teams??? The packers have played tough teams in the regular season and beat them. Rodgers is still a better QB and thrower of the football than Brady.
@@Ace-uc5cj I think he’s talking about the nfc. And don’t even try and lie yall play the bears lions and Vikings😭 literally a straight walk in to the playoffs and then still lose😭😂
@@otbcmurda7716 I’m not a Packers fan. Also those are divisional games. Brady has played against the Panthers, the Falcons, and the Drew Brees’less saints (and still finds a way to lose), easy cakewalk. Difficult out of division games the packers played:
2020: Bucs, Saints with Drew Brees, 49ers, Colts, Titans (when they were good).
2021: Saints, 49ers, Bengals, Cardinals, Chiefs (Aaron Rodgers was out for Covid against the chiefs), Rams.
Not a straight cakewalk tho they benefit from an easy division. Brady has an easy cakewalk as well
No way. Dude consistently folds in the playoffs.
Mr. All time NFC Championship Interception leader and QB losses record holder Aaron Rodgers.
Team game. Yall so weird lol
Why do teams draft u for stats or rings?
It's a ring thing.
When you play teams like Chicago and Minnesota twice a year....that's 4 gimme games. Of course he has good stats. Bottomline, he sucks in playoff games
And Brady playing the Jets Dolphins and Bill were hard....lol
Imagine being ranked the #1 QB after u lose to Jimmy G of all ppl in the playoffs
At home while scoring only 10 points
looooool, as a Niners fan, this hurts, but it doesn't hurt as much as Aaron's ego
Tom brady has 2 superbowls rings in the last 4 years. What does Aaron have? Tom Brady literal came to the NFC for the first time ever and won a superbowl in his very first year as a new qb on a new team in a new conference with a torn meniscus.
Wtf does td ratio have to do with winning?
The very worse and most telling stat about how anti clutch Rodgers is / is his lifetime record when trailing by 1 or more points heading into the 4th quarter - It's an almost statistically and mathematically impossible *1-43*
Brady in the playoffs alone has *18* 4th quarter comebacks *NFL RECORD*
No one can get around that statistical certainty
This is the best example of how to cherry pick to stats to fit a narrative. Absolutely nonsense stat.
@@bluecollarscientist216 To fit what narrative you dope? The statistic to an absolute undisputed 100% certainty proves how well one does in a the clutch or when the game is on the line with 15 minutes or less to play you half wit
So let's go through it again - Rodgers is 1-43 when trailing by 1 or more points going into the 4th quarter
In the playoffs alone (when it counts the most) Brady has *18* 4th quarter comebacks .. Including 6 game winning drives in the Super Bowl
Brady also has 18 playoff games where he has thrown for +300 or more yards including an astronomical 505 yards and 466 yards
Rodgers has 3
What's the most you ever lost at a coin toss?
@@TyRanT_SoLDieR I need you to call it , I can't call it for you it wouldn't be fair 👍
If Brady makes it to the Super Bowl this year he will have the record of beating the most NFC teams in the playoffs.
Easiest way to quantify the #1 QB. Over the past 5 seasons , from week 1 till the raising of the Lombardi at week 21/22.....which QB has the most wins? (I dont know the answer).
Would they be talking this way about Dan Marino who has no super bowls???in his time frame when he played??
Shannon you can't be serious Rodgers is a choker 😂😂😂
15 int in the last 3 seasons 😭😭💀💀 thats crazy tom still got the far better success tho
He will never be better than Tom let it go 💯
Never!!
Theyre going by numbers but whats the real numbers? your final score right?
Brady joined the nfc for two years and has more playoff wins and tied Super Bowls with Aaron Rodgers
Why is nobody accounting for the fact that Rodgers doesn’t have more interceptions because he is always throwing the ball out? So despite the fact he takes care of the ball so much he always comes up short when needed more. Add to that, the reverse that due to him not being aggressive and confident enough he has lost games himself.
How many throw aways though 👀
Josh allen will be in thr mvp discussion this year.
