  • At the start of this interview, you can see how Ray Comfort uses a couple of icebreakers before he gets into the Gospel. Watch how Ray transitions the icebreaker into asking, "What is the will of God for your life?". That question triggers a surprising response from this man. He speaks about his past guilts of blowing people up in war and how he is balancing out the scale now. Watch how Ray handles his view of self-righteousness...

You said something so profound, Ray. After this dear lost man rejected the Gospel, you asked yourself, “Should I keep trying?” And you answered, “It depends on how much I love him.” Love doesn’t quit. Neither did you. Brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for your beautiful faith… and faithfulness.

He didn't intend for man to go to hell, but man goes there because they reject God. they would rather go to hell than be with God, so God doesn't send anybody to hell they send themselves.

@@AlexTheGreat21 you miss the whole point of redemption. Everyone has made the choice to sin, you could have chosen not to, but choosing to sin is to do evil separating yourself from God. Knowing this, God made a way possible to get relationship restored, for all who trust in the savior. So then, rejecting this salvation you choose hell(separation from God). Choosing yourself and loveing your sin should make you happy, not to live with the God you hate.

@@AlexTheGreat21 the little video starts with a bad premise that somehow your performance will somehow please God. Truth of the matter is all the good works all the lifting all the hard work could never gain entrance into heaven or salvation or Restoration in your relationship with God. The law is written on our heart so that we know when we fall short it was never intended for us to keep the law to become righteous this is an impossible task the the law only shows where you fall short. And knowing this God prepared away for us to get righteousness through forgiveness of sin the whole point of the cross Jesus paid the price that we could never pay. Jesus took on himself the sin of the world that we might become the righteousness of God in him and all who believe (trust).

God didn't give Adam an ultimatum he gave him a choice. and told him not to eat of the tree of the fruit of knowledge of Good and evil because if he ate from that particular tree he would die it was Adam's choice to disobey God by eating from the tree. I don't see an ultimatum there there's no slap in the face. you choose. You want to live with me in Paradise in this garden forever or do you want to do things your way make a choice...he Adam made a choice Adam had to die for the choice he made just man up and live by the choice you Make. you don't have to go to heaven you can go to hell.

In case anyone finds this helpful or is interested in praying for our Christian ministries/leaders/shepherds/evangelists/apologists like Ray Comfort:
16 prayer points you can pray for them:
    1
You can pray that they will always have a good walk with God (that they will not forget their first love), that God will bless their daily private Bible reading and prayer life, and that they will have good sound doctrine.
    2
You can pray that they will be full of the Holy Spirit and that God will bless their ministries so that many more people will come to faith in Jesus for God’s glory, and that they will feed God’s sheep and disciple them properly.
    3
You can pray that they will be humble, that they will remember how many Christian leaders in the past have fallen, and that they will have a very healthy fear of the Lord.
    4
You can pray that God will protect them and the ministry God has given them from:
    Pride
    Love of fame
    Love of money
Desire for the approval of people rather than the approval of God
    Being worried about offending people
    Compromising God’s Word
    Sexual temptation
    Demonic attacks
Persecution (from outside the Church and inside the Church)
    5
You can pray for their PHYSICAL HEALTH and that God will heal all their health problems.
    6
You can pray for their MENTAL HEALTH. Pastors and Christian workers often have stress and battle discouragement and depression. Please God touch them and heal them of all mental and emotional problems and distress.
They can also sometimes be hurt by the people they serve or by other Christian leaders - so we can pray that this won’t happen but that if it does that God will heal these wounds and strengthen His servants to forgive each other and that God will restore unity for His Glory.
    7
You can pray that God will bless and protect their families.
Satan often attacks Christian workers by attacking their loved ones.
So you can pray that their family members will all have a good walk with God, have good sound doctrine, that God will protect them all from demonic attacks, that God will also bless and protect their physical and mental health, heal them of all infirmities, and that God will bless all their family relationships so that there is peace and love in their families.
You can pray that God especially blesses and protects all areas and parts of their marriages, so that they will not be tempted to look elsewhere.
Also please God bless their marriages especially so that they can be a model and example for other Christians.
    8
You can pray that God will abundantly bless and protect the finances of the ministries and also the personal finances of God’s servants (especially finances needed for health or medical expenses).
You can pray that they always have abundant finances so that they can always do every good work God wants them to do.
    9
You can pray that God blesses and protects the relationships between Christian co-workers in ministries - so that no jealousy or strife or bitterness takes root. That they will all have Christian unity and that their focus will be on God getting all the glory and rejoice in any and all work for God.
    10
You can pray that God prevents any technical or logistical or legal or any type of problems for their ministry, but if they have any such issues/problems that God will help them resolve/fix and totally solve and remove these problems.
    11
If it’s an internet (e.g. CZcams) ministry you can pray that God will help the videos spread on those platforms and get many views and that God will use the videos to bring many people to repentance and faith in Jesus.
    12
You can pray that God will help Christian leaders be good shepherds of Jesus’ sheep and continue to feed Jesus’ sheep, and that they will not only convert people, but also disciple new converts so that they can grow and develop and mature in a healthy and supported way.
    13
You can pray that God will give them the heart of a servant.
    14
You can pray that God gives them wisdom and helps them and powerfully guides them when making all decisions and plans.
    15
You can pray that if they make mistakes or sin that God will grant them humility and repentance and restore them.
    16
You can pray that more Christians will pray consistently for Christian leaders/pastors/shepherds/workers/ministries.
    ***********************
You could make a list of pastors/ministries you want to support and pray for them regularly.
    Jesus said:
“ when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

      John 6:65

My heart aches for this man as he seems laden with guilt for what he’s had to do in the past. May he come to understand there will never be enough that he can do to reconcile himself to God, except to accept the free gift He gave us through His Son’s work on the cross to pay the price for ALL of us, regardless of what we’ve done. May he accept that, repent, and move forward living a life for Christ, rather than continue carrying the load on his back of sin, guilt, etc.

You and your enemies will both be melting to the ground in excruciating pain. You would be lucky to find the strength to stand up, let alone party or find your enemies and get vengeance. Even if you did somehow find your enemies in a sea of billions of burning melting corpses, the skin dripping off your bones would sort of prevent you from doing anything about it.

He saw (and the Bible states) that there are pits for each person besides the lake of fire. There is nothing of God in hell and you will be too lost in your sin to pick a bone with anyone, not that God would let you recognize another person you knew as well. Hell is absolutely terrifying. I have a question about repenting.. how do you actually do it? Do you repent for each individual sin? What if you can’t remember them all? Or Do you pray to God and say I’m sorry for all my sins, and then they are ALL forgiven? ( even ones you may have forgotten about?) I hope someone can answer this question for me. Thanks 🙏

    • @kingdom2connect
      @kingdom2connect Před rokem +2

Hi, to repent means to basically change direction. So, whatever your sin, addiction, etc... may be, if in your heart you are genuinely sorry for the choices you've been making and how you've been living, you come before God with a sincere heart and just confess to Him with your own words. Like, "Father, I'm tired of living like this, I need You, I can't live pure and right unless I'm with You always, please forgive me, I turn away from the desires of this world and turn towards you from now on.". You see repentance is a lifestyle, not only a one time act. It's an ongoing, never ending change of heart and mind. Look up Philippians 4 starting in verse 8. A picture of what a repentant life looks like. Then as you go on and learn to listen and hear what the Holy Spirit May speak to you, then humble yourself and if He brings up something that you need to turn away from or put down and surrender (repent) then do that and keep growing. So repentance is an initial act and it is an ongoing lifestyle. Hope this helps you!

    • @edwardjones2129
      @edwardjones2129 Před rokem +2

@@kingdom2connect This is the key. The repentence has to be legitimately felt. It's not enough to just say the words. As Ray always says it is like jumping out of the plane without the parachute, and not jumping is not an option. The parachute is Jesus.

    • @hebraicfoundations9273
      @hebraicfoundations9273 Před rokem +1

@Equinox, you ask excellent questions. There are two types of repentance really and both are necessary. The first kind is the kind that Ray Comfort is usually talking about. It is to repent of sin in general (not specific sins), that is, to confess that we have need of salvation because we are stained with sin (with countless sins). We are sinners, bound in sin. When we thus pray, yes, the Lord forgives us of our sin in general. He can do this because Jesus/Yeshua paid the debt for all sin.
However, we also need to repent of specific sins that continue to plague us with temptation, or that have need to be addressed with others. For example, if I stole something from a brother, my conscience will plague me until I pay it back. Or, if I spoke evil about or to someone, I need to go back and ask for forgiveness. This needs to be done after I repented of sin in general. 1Tim 1:19 says that we need to keep a clear conscience so that we do not shipwreck our faith. Allow the Holy Spirit to tell you what specific sins you need to address in order to gain a clear conscience. (A clear conscience is when there is nobody who can look you in the eye and say, "You wronged me and never tried to make it right.") Having a clear conscience is golden. It is critical for keeping the faith.
One of the best things one can do is to pray and ask the Lord to bring to your mind anything that He wants you to go back and make right with someone. (When you ask this, have a pencil and paper ready!) I did this almost 40 years ago and the Lord gave me a list of about 25 people that I needed to go back and ask forgiveness for some offense. That was a very difficult assignment. However, going through that list one by one, preparing my heart with each offense in true repentance, going to each person and making right my wrong in whatever way was most appropriate for the circumstance with a genuine heart, this literally transformed my life. It transformed by soul. It was like being born again all over again. For me, it felt like what Jacob experienced when he needed to get right with his brother whom he wronged and ended up wrestling with the angel (see Gen. 32). Jacob came out of that experience with a limp, but he was finally free of what plagued him, and God changed his name to Israel, meaning, "he strove with God and man and prevailed." From this exercise in my own life, I gained a clear conscience, which I would not trade for anything. This has allowed me to maintain a clear conscience ever since because I know how important and powerful it is by experience.
So, one needs to bring our basic sinful condition under the blood of Yeshua in general. Then one needs to address specific sins as the Lord brings them to our attention so that we can gain a clear conscience about our past mistakes. Be patient with yourself in this process. The Lord is delighted to walk together with you each step along the way and transform you from darkness to light.

The bible speaks with alot of parables and metaphors. You're analogy is cute and clever but it's a silly metaphor overall. I ain't getting any pleasure playing with a rattlesnake. I'm 52. I am actually a born again Christian since 1997. I've endured Horrendous hardships that would've landed many towards heavy drug usage. Or even suicide. You do not know me. You would Be Very Traumatized if you went through the things that I've been through. Going back to you're rattlesnake analogy. I don't even ride a bicycle freely down a hill. I ride the brakes down hills, in fear of Deer suddenly bolting out. Everyone is a sinner and falls short, otherwise Christ's sacrifice is meaningless. If I were to be a church goer then I would have to be either the pastor or the drummer in the band. I'd make a good pastor and I have God Given talent on the Drums. But Christian based music is not about if you're talented. I work at a lowly job and they've all been lowly jobs. I've worked jobs since the age of 12. I started doing chores at 3. I developed a severe case of internal mold exposure from living in a camper for too long and wound up developing a severe and very prolonged case of costo-chondritis in 2018. Having that condition causes all kinds of inflammation and swelling in and around the heart area. I had piles of horrifying coronary episodes from February of 2018 to September of 2018, and continued to have episodes throughout 2019 and 2020, and 2021. The frequency may have lessened considerably over time but the great internal trauma remains to this day. I definitely have ptsd. It's an indescribable internal awareness based trauma. There are other sufferages I continue to struggle with as well. Chronic hemmahroids, splitting headaches and toothaches. I have no dental insurance. I'm struggling to make ends meet with the price to heat my trailer. I have horrible OCD as well and we are always very short staffed at my job and managers there are unappeasable. So technically, Death to me would be a relief. I have amazing heavenly dreams at times and then not so heavenly dreams other times. A friend of mine from awhile ago summarized his personal take on God. He believed that God enjoys humans suffering. I totally get his point. Not saying that I entirely agree though. I was standing right next to Jesus, in an Amazing dream, the night that I gave myself to him. I believe that Jesus can look any way that he wants to, when revealing himself to various individuals. With that stated, I will not describe what he looked like, so not to offend those who would perhaps take offense. Also, back in October of 2018, that same friend of mine, along with myself, saw what appeared to be a Light-Man figure, about 150 feet away from us. It was in the Way in the Backyard area of our Landlord's property. He spotted this being first, and then sort of yelled to me to Look Out There Rob !! And there it was, Some Light illuminated being. It looked like it was checking things out at and around the small wooden bridge that was in between our Landlord's back yard and the Woods that were beyond the wooden bridge. This Light man figure looked approximately5 and A half feet tall and it basically had the outward appearance of a 1980's videogame graphic sprite.

    • @robertdecker146
      @robertdecker146 Před rokem

In continuation to encountering the Light-Man Being, I was obviously overwhelmed with this visual experience that was taking place at the spur of the moment, so to speak. My apparent naturally inclined reactive approach was one of overzealous excitement. It must be a DNA thing. Other people would've had fear and maybe even terror. Not me. I started yelling towards it, and then boldly walking towards it. I would've ran towards it but I couldn't physically run at that time. I still had too much inflammation around my heart. My friend couldn't get over how bold and fearless that I was at that moment, but it obviously was a contagious form of energy that my energy generated, as he followed suit, following right behind me.
The Light Man being seemed to take notice rather immediately. At first it looked up at us, and then it started walking away, further into the woods, and then it basically evaporated/disintegrated. Initially it was looking all around the bridge area and seemed to be inspecting. Afterwards, my friend and me obviously talked a good amount about what we had just witnessed. Me being a life long theist was obviously concluding that it was some sort of spirit, that was perhaps assigned to observe and inspect things like bridges. I would make a good bridge or building inspector with my unusually high levels of O.C.D. Maybe encountering this particular spirit was a sign from The Lord Above, that this would be the ideal form of employment for myself.
My friend on the other hand, had his own unique conclusion. He was still Only Agnostic at best during this time period, and he believed that it was an Alien 👽 from Outer Space. He coined the term/movie title "The Predator", following our encounter with this being, whenever I would bring it up occasionally, for the following months. He finally became a Full Fledged Theist, in 2020, after an Amazing dream that he had right after his Mom passed away.
I told him while consoling him that I Strongly sensed that he would have an Amazing Dream and his Mom would be in it, and sure enough, this is exactly what wound up happening, and it was a Truly Born Again experience for him. He suddenly was 100 percent Theist. He described the dream that he had and described seeing his Mom in the dream. He said that she looked just as she had looked like when she was in her 20's. It was obviously a beautiful environment in this dream, by the way he described it, and he didn't want the dream to end but someone in the dream told him that it wasn't his time yet.
You see, my friend, like me, has lived a very hard and pain filled life. Physical and Mental pain. His right arm became a noodled out appendage of only about 25 % usage when he was in a bad car accident at 3 years old, back in 1988.
Many a night, he would be up at all hours of the night, crying out to God. Saying/Yelling, 'Why did you let that happen to me ?!?!" Followed by "Kill me now" !!! He described a dream that he had one night where God was reaching out to Hug him, and my friend had too much anger and resentment and bitterness to accept a Hug. In the dream, he told me that he had a knife on him and proceeded to stab this "Whatever it was". It then disintegrated, and he woke up out of the dream.
I believe that we are observed in our dreams just as we are observed and analyzed during our waking hours.
In my dreams, sometimes I'm smoking a cigarette, even though I quit at 34, and am now 52. In my dreams the cigarette is soothing, but something tells me to put it away now or you'll start having respiratory issues. Dreams are a Huge part of The Christian life. They are of the spirit world. Not of our brains, as many scientists claim. Amazing Dreams are in fact quite Biblical as well. Sometimes they may seem to be a silly joke, but other Times they are quite profound and very serious.

"Such a small percentage of the world is Christian." I don't think it's a small percentage, there are around 300 million Christians in China. Everyone I've met from Ghana, Uganda, and Nigeria were strong Christians.
Personally I got so tired of the lies this world tells. After 40 years of misery, the only truth I've ever found is in the gospel of Christ. I'm never going back, everything else is eternal misery, death, and decay. When I look back I just see a black hole of despair.
Now I have new eyes to see the world and it's beautiful brothers and sisters. I will die some day, maybe painfully and slow, but it's not a death, it's eternal life. The Christian lives in death. That is hope to endure. Unbelievers only have death, and the scraps they try to claw inward, absolute terror, misery, and vertigo.....never knowing the God who gave them life, breath, and sustains all things. They hate him.
I hope what I've said is profitable. Even if it's not, I'll never be discouraged sharing my trust in God.

They always come up with that logic that it's such a huge percentage of people that are sinners that still live in their sins and did not accept the God of the bible and his son Jesus who died for our sins, they obviously don't read the bible when it says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matt. 7:13-14.)
they just want to fight with truth & judgment

Ray, with all due respect, as a veteran, who has actually seen action, and who has known a multitude of veterans, this is offensive. He is full of it. No one who’s actually seen significant combat actually talks that way. However, you are patronizing his alleged combat and posting it as if, what he’s saying is valid. I’m not trying to nitpick and although I don’t know you personally, I love you, your ministry, and the individual in this video. But this is at least the second time I’ve seen someone you’ve interviewed say these kinds of things, and I know without a shadow of a doubt, he is at least exaggerating, if not downright lying. What kind of intel could he have gotten that would have informed him that they were innocent? If he did have that kind of intel, and he did what he claims to have done, then he is a war criminal. I doubt that either one of these is the case. I have had, and continue to struggle with legitimate PTSD, but have done my best to cope and maintain a fractured relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, and the number one purveyors of hatred and judgment towards me have been Christians. Meanwhile, it seems like charlatans who have fabricated a sad story are the ones who were greeted with open arms. I love you, brother, and what you do, but I’m tired of this. Sorry for venting. I’m just very frustrated.
