The guy with the beard was stuck on the fear part and the "or else" idea. When he has kids and they disobey him I wonder if he'll be OK with it. I wonder if he'll expect that his kids obey him or else. I mean he's the dad, he created them and provides for them so he has the right to expect their obedience and love. So I wonder how he'd feel if his kids take all his parental provision(food, shelter, love nurturing, etc) and then refuse to acknowledge him, obey or love him, all the while continually expecting him to provide all those things. This is what we as humans do to God. Give me everything and let me do as I please, and how dare you expect anything in return. It's unbelievable. The first chapter of the gospel of John says Jesus is the light but people hated the light and loved the darkness because their deeds where evil. In other words we love our sin and don't want to repent of our evil deeds.

I love God because He first loved me enough to make a way where there was no way- a way for me to live in unimaginable peace and joy forever with Him & because of Him. Until then, we walk in righteousness (imperfectly, because we have been corrupted by sin and the consequences of our own rebellion) not in fear but in peace and hope in believing. It one of the all time great phenomena that Christians claim faith yet they cant heal the crippled or perform miracles and a lot of the warm fuzzy feeling would only be a subjective experience you would internalize so long as life felt good. Even for the hardcore evangelist like ray comfort. He obviously does his upmost and it would be good if more people were out giving people hope food and shelter and yes even warning them about the devastating natural consequences of their sin people have a tendency to ruin their lives with bad choices. But come on honestly hell is a terrific psychological angle because some peoples lives do end their even while their on earth. (So actually i sincerely think hell might be a really great way to save peoples souls! But if you really believe in it the way bill wiese does than you should literally want to kill yourself if you think people are actually going there actually being suicidal over it would be the understatement not of the century but of eternity since theyll burn for eternity. Like accidentally killing a child God forbid is not nearly as horrifying mathematically speaking because everything that happens on earth is infinitely insignificant

@@Jesus_is_Lord_316 im not blaming God for anything whats Gods fault the story of job offends many Christians but it doesnt offend me i still dont like hell is there a problem with that. if thats your argument then it has nothing to do with fault it’s literally just writhing in pain over reality nobody needs to be blamed the agony speaks for itself that some people will not be happy to burn for more than 3 minutes let alone have some tragedy happen on earth. Even lukewarm Christians blame God for bad things happening on earth and yes god is god and were helpless so its only natural to want to get mad and have to just deal and cope that god had a reason for ordaining something terrible to happen to you or even mildly bad. So to set a precedent that athiest cant use logic is not even on the table no thinking person is going to think that never ending burning quantifies as a reasonable punishment. You don’t blame god all you can do is fear his power.

Except if someone really wants the truth, they CAN find it. When looking at various religions one can see, if they desire, that the Bible explains how we got here, the reason for sin, a reliable source of history involving mankind(kingdom's, various people's, the reason for various languages, foretold events which have come to pass and future events which will come to pass), God's son foretold throughout the old testament in many detailed descriptions, God's offer of redemption, and the guidelines for right and wrong, good and bad, God's character and more. All of these things make sense, are consistent with what we know from archeology, from secular history books and from life experiences. No other book offers such logic, such insight to the past, to the future, to science, to fact, to reason and on and on it goes. Anyone who searches has access to the most widely sold book ever made.

I think with the other gentleman, people don't have a concept of the holiness of God. He's probably seeing fear as some malignant emotion, but the fear of God is a respect and awe of Him. To fear God is to recognize His holiness, His Majesty and beauty. I like the way one preacher put it. He said it's like standing on the edge of a huge, gigantic water fall. You're on the edge and your admiring the beauty of it. You see the mountains and valleys beneath you, perhaps there's even a rainbow off in the distance. However, as beautiful as it is, you don't play around up there. You don't get careless and non chalant because you know if you slip and fall, the end result is dangerous.

To repent one must admit their guilt. To say you see someone with something and want it is to sin (covet) that is how easy for it to sin for us. So one must confess their sins know and unknown. I never knew that was sin until I read the bible properly.
People does not understand people always blame God. All I can say is God do not want no idiots around him for to defeat the devil one must be smart for this bugger is very crafty!
Just remember it is not everyone who say Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of the Father which is in heaven. God rules is made for the Spirit for God is Spirit and that is why Jesus conclude and say the flesh is of no use and that is all because of sin but the spirit of the body can be saved. For only Jesus has walked in the flesh and overcome and the two witnesses which was taken.
To fear God is the beginning of wisdom, why is that? Well is that fact that you have come to the realisation of His presence even though one may not see Him but we can clearly see His works.
All these questions people asked are answered in the Book of Job and even Job thought he could start mouthing off at God start asking questions.
When God start asking Job the questions Job says he will not open his mouth again for he was vile. People need to read the book of Job when they think they can or want to start asking God all these pointless questions. Look at satan what he did to Job when God say to him look at my servant Job none in the earth like him. Look at all the evil satan did to him.after he beg God to let him try Job. The question one should ask their selves how would you feel after Satan did all that evil to you. Satan is doing the Bad things in this earth it is not God. So before one speaks and start blaming God check the lessons and facts God leave for us to read that we may gain wisdom to the hidden situations before our eyes when we see it happening!

At that point, everything in me wanted to do what pleases God - however, I was not delivered from certain things - and I won't go into detail about that here, except to say that when I asked God why He didn't remove these 'certain things' from my life, He showed me I'd be guilty of something far worse - 'self-righteousness' - and it would be so subtle that I wouldn't recognize it... Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12).

I feel bad that the one man walked away. I understand him in a way. Because I believe that I serve the Lord out of love & not fear. I love Him because of what He has done for me.
I also do not fear death. I believe that when I die that I will sleep peacefully until the resurrection at the end of time when Jesus returns. That’s not a scary thing to me. I take profound pleasure in knowing that I have a very loving & forgiving Father in Heaven who wants to spend eternity with me & who died for my sins🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
But I love that Ray is introducing so many souls to the Lord & teaching them that there is nothing that we can personally do to gain entrance into Heaven. It’s a free gift from God, nothing that we can work to earn. In fact, our righteousness is as filthy rags🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

So many people have been lied to about what love is.
