Pet Shop Turtle Rescue

This is a RES or RED EARED SLIDER. Which were sold in the Pet shop trade as juvenile turtles for a pet. I caught it trying to cross a road and go into miles and miles of open fields where it would probably perish. Unfortunately, at the time my cell phone was out of charge. I believe it came from a near by goldfish hatchery where they use to sell RES's and a lot escaped into their ponds. This is probably a third or 4th generation turtle from back then.
