Tell me why I cut my hair short and then a week later you cut your hair and did your big chop. I was so happy and was like yay I get to do this big shop journey with one of my CZcamsrs that I watch! And girl tell me why maybe a month later I chopped it shorter to a pixie cut. I was like Iâm doing this journey by myself đ€Łđ€Łbut youâre growth is amazing it grew so much! I love it! â€ïž
Definitely have seen 2-3 inches of hair growth with consistent twist outsâŠgreat point! I like the idea of saturating with rose water or different type hydrator other than plain water. This time around I am taking my natural hair journey more serious-this type of content is very helpful! Thank you!
More to come! My water hydrator will be for sale soon. Iâm thinking once the summer comes I will do more wash and goâs to combat the heat and humidity, but I live me a twist out in the heat too lol
Iâve been using aloe vera water (Walmart) and it has saved me from heartache, and my hair from excessive breaking during detangling. I use the misting bottle (Amazon) and saturate my hair before parting and combing through. One will not believe how miraculous it is until itâs tried and proved! I wish Iâd known years ago!
Here watching because I've been thinking my hair was healthy, did a silk press and got humbled. I don't do twist outs because I never trained my hair but after this cut and my hair reverts will def be following these tips and seeking professional help.
Definitely agree with you on twist outs to retain length. I learned the hard way. I love wash n go but everytime it comes to wash day I have terrible tangles and my hair snaps. I will still do wash n gos but I will only keep it for about 3 days and then wash it out and I would only do it maybe once every month
Yeah. That's the secret with wash and go's no one told us... they have to be re-done every 3 days or your hair will break!!!! If you want them to last a week or more without issues, you have to shingle/ separate your coils (which, for me, takes 3hrs đ - so i do every 3 day wash n go'sđ).
Luv your hair! Yes I can see the growth as well as health! Iâve heard about that Botanika protein treatment just havenât tried it yet.. thank you for this update video đ„°đ
8:57 yesssss for me and my fine hair, this is sooo true, I learned that I have to do twist outs because wash and goâs dry my hair and it snags like cray
I use to do twist out a lot on my hair but now I braid my hair for length retention and it stretches the hair, at least mine, more than the twist. I have not used heat of any kind on my hair for over ten years, I also use most of the oils you stated and I mist my hair DAILY with Aleo Vera juice, almond oil, and peppermint love and my hair loves it and I agree with you, I am not big on trimming my hair, especially if there is no need to. I watch for split ends and knots and if I am fine, I do not touch my hair.
I loved this update. Your hair has grown so much!!! I definitely need to do twist outs more often. It definitely helps me keep my hands out of my hair. Iâm currently on my hair growth journey and Iâm determined to maintain healthy hair.

Hey! Thank you for posting. How often do you do your protein treatments? Also, I was wondering how you preserve your twist outs at night. So you retwist the hair or put it up at all before bed to preserve it? Thanks again!
Love that protein treatment!!!!! You can get it from target đ€. I use a protein treatment every 6 weeks...use a mild one ever 6, then this one the next 6 weeks, then the mild one the next 6...and so on.....when I'm good, of course. Sometimes I fall off the protein train đ. I've been very bad lately due to illness and my hair is paying for it!
Honestly no. My hair dries without it since itâs much shorter. Iâll occasionally pop my head under but only if I did my hair right before bed time (donât like sleeping on wet hair), or if I donât want to diffuse my wash and go (but havenât done one in a while) â€ïž
Your hair always grows back so quickly. It looks so full and healthy đ

idk how ppl keep a wash and go in more than like 4 days ngl. like do they just let it tangle up to the max before washing?
