      *What is the Gospel?*
The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
      Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
      Romans 10:9
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

The hair is conditioned after a rinse out conditioner. If you have dry hair a deep conditioner will benefit you especially if you use heat. You do not need both at the same time. I think brands play on what people do and provide that for them for a coin. If you say you like moss then you will see moss in products. If you like rice then you will see rice products, etc. Whatever you say you like they will provide it. They are listening.

When I first started learning about taking care of my hair, I used to follow every rule in the book 😭 trying to get my natural hair to grow and to be healthy. None the less I had time to do my hair on a consistent basis. Fast forward to now, I can say about 85% of the things I used to do that were “rules” for natural hair I simply don’t do, because I don’t have time one lol. And two because I learned that certain things work for my hair and certain things don’t. My hair is completely healthy and growing and I don’t follow most of the natural hair “rules”, so honestly it comes down to finding what works best for your hair and filtering out what doesn’t.

When I first went natural last year, I tried every technique and product under the Sun! What I have learned is simplicity is best. I use mostly Olaplex product line (especially since I color my hair), I do oil my scalp, not my hair, I use Curls Blueberry bliss as my leave in moisture product and one additional product depending on my style for that week. For a wash and go it’s literally that leave in and a curling custard or light gel or I may use a mousse for a twist out or Bantu knot out. My hair has flourished and I usually dust my ends every two months if needed. I am a stickler for a bonnet or scarf every night tho. In the hair community period it’s really hard to drown out the noise but it’s just important to get to know your hair and yourself.

Yesss I’m totally here for this video. I’ve been natural for 8 years and I’ve learned early on you cannot follow no one else regimens. One of the things couldn’t do was Co-Wash. My hair does better with a very clean scalp so I wash with a sulfate shampoo since I wash my hair every two weeks, yes I know I’m a lazy natural but my hair tends to grow better that way. Lastly when I want my hair straightened I will if I happen to get heat damage I’ll cut my ends. I see some who will never straighten because of that. Hair is suppose to be fun and creative and not have all these damn rules

I use warm water when shampooing or conditioning. I don’t like being cold in the shower either. I use a conditioner as a leave-in. It’s amazing for my hair. I also only use oil for my scalp and the leftover oil is used for my hair. I don’t put any extra oil on my hair because it makes my face oily and gives me pimples. For LCOs, my wet hair (water) is the L. I use a conditioner to seal my hair since it’s usually a cream or I will use a butter. After that I oil my scalp. I don’t do it the “normal” way.

This why I keep telling people everything you see people in natural community use isn't always for you. I've been natural for 3 or 4 years now and I have shoulder length hair from of recently. And I been using products I see on CZcams, IG and from what natural community suggest for 2 years with little to no hair grows. I recently of last year stop listening to people advice and testing products to see what it goes on my hair. I recently use water and rose water to moisturize and seal with oil or grease and my hair stays fully moisturized for a hold week. Sometimes I use leave in conditioner and seal it with oil. Plus finding a great hairdresser seem to be very important. I realise keeping it simple works great 👍 and finding what works for you and not what natural community, IG natural pages, youtubers at times tell you. It also have alot to do with genes and DNA. I love this youtube because it speaks truth and nothing but it.

I have been washing my hair/rinsing it in the shower more often because I feel like my hair actually gets more moisture that way than just spritzing it with some water and doing my LCO method. Also, it has made my hair grow faster because of the massaging of the scalp as I'm rinsing or washing,

EXCEPT that silk pillowcase.. When I tell you the difference it makes.. Not just for your hair, but for your skin.. I'm nearing 40 and truly do believe that my lack of wrinkles and clear skin is attributed to my sleeping on a silk pillowcase and training myself to sleep on my back.. I know we all claim to be alright with growing old gracefully, but I definitely am alright with making such a simple change for such a drastic result.. So, I went into a bit of history of haircare and found that I could just use shampoo to wash and butter to moisturize and protect it, my hair reacts to it by feeling strong, thick, and bouncy. Besides that, just to make sure my hair gets maximum nutrients along with from what I eat, I put herbs and oils in my hair thirty minutes before washing. Wash days feel so amazing! edit: (I actually put my shampoo in my herbs and oils and rinse it out after 30 mins, then I condition and add honey before styling with butter after the last rinse)

The timeliness of this video is uncanny.
I'm literally sitting with a shower cap on waiting for that 30 minutes to rinse out my Deep conditioner out my hair. This may be the last time I do this, it's so time consuming and I'm a lazy natural too but been trying to do better 🤣😅
I'm currently in the middle of reorganizing natural hair products. Like you said, 3 or 4 products should be enough. No reason I need a whole closet of products. I'm running out of space and money.smh
Great content as always. Thanks for sharing. And yes, I still use your oil. Love it❣

Girl do it!😂 I do my entire wash routine in the shower & deep condition while I wash my body(about 10 minutes) & not only do I not notice a difference between longer deep conditioning, it also makes Wash Day *shorter.* 🙌🏾
Trust you will _love_ the shorter Wash Day. All I have to do is moisturize & braid when I get out.💃🏾

I agree. For my wash day i only use shampoo and conditioner or deep conditioner. I deep condition first to detangle my hair (type 4 hair) and i let the deep conditioner sit for about 30 mins. I apply shampoo to my hair while my hair is in twists.
After that i blow dry and style.
The reason i don't use conditioner and deep conditioner on the same wash day is becuse i dont want to waste water. I also feel like its a waste of time using another product for moisturizing when you'll use a leave in after.
I don't wash my hair in shower i prefer using the sink. Its really uncomfortable having your whole body be cold or hair products dripping all over you.

A rule that I do not follow is I do not moisturizer at night. I am not gonna wet my hair, oil my scalp and hair at night then go to sleep. I like to do it right before I shower. I was a no scarf or bonnet girl, because they don’t stay on my hair. But over the last year I started due to some horrible shedding.

I don't follow any rules in the natural hair community either. I use apple cider vinegar because it works for my hair. But I do not do no clay masks because it really dries out my hair. I use sulfates shampoos diluted because I get heavy build up quickly. And I always deep condition my hair so most of the time I use one product after my deep con. because my hair can't take a lot of products within my strands or it'll get greasy and lay my hair done without any volume. I do oil my scalp often because I get dry scalp quickly after a day or two. And I can't use any oils for real on my hair strands because it will dry out my strands, the oil will set on top and get greasy. If I do use oils it will be fatty oils like avocado oil, olive oil, and argan oil.

I definitely not that ingredient conscious. There are brands I want to try and I’m not gonna go out of my way to not try something just because of the ingredients. I also had never heard of the no shampoo rule. I’ve never been taught any other way to clean your hair other than using a shampoo. I do rotate a cowash in my routine every now and then, but I use that more in the summer when i sweat or if I have worked out a lot in a particular week. I do believe in using oils on the strands, but I look for conditioning oils that will help keep the hair soft and not brittle.

I also do not sleep with a silk bonnet or pillowcase. My hair doesn't break and it stays moisturized through the night.

If can't put it in a spray bottle, I don't use it ....OFTEN. As far as creams go I create a concoction that I infuse with oils , herbs, water, and a touch of leave in inside a pump bottle. A little goes a long way. Most of the time I refrigerate until needed. Not everybody's hair gonna react the same. That's why it's so awesome to be unique.
