Everybody that has super thick & long hair knows how annoying it can be especially when it’s damaged and you know that it’ll grow back because you know how to take care of your hair! Girl they always feel entitled and idk what it is
This! Literally shaved mine off and honestly I love how much easier it is especially with a 10 month old. Everyone else was more concerned than I was.

I don’t understand why people are so pressed about other people’s hair 🥴 I’ve been natural for about 8 years and I’m tired of it too. Long natural hair is so much work! I’m at the point where I don’t care much anymore. I’m dying my hair and will eventually cut it.

My hair isn't colored but I use protein and bond treatments. My hair is completely virgin, yet high porosity. I wish people understood that high porosity doesn't always equate to damage.
I actually love your hair and I understand what you mean about having long natural hair and it being a struggle. I have long natural hair with a not so loose texture and I as well sit and contemplate for at least an hour if I feel like washing my hair. The whole process just wears me out and I’ve recently even started to think about cutting my hair because it’s getting longer and harder to deal with.

You look amazing!! It's your hair and you can do whatever you want with your hair. I did chopped a lot of my hair because of damage and neglect on my ends. I notice ever since I did that, I experienced less shedding and the ends of my hair were more define. I did this for the health of my hair. Plus it was extremely draining to detangle it.
I always tell people it's just hair and it will grow. It's also MY hair.

I have commented before that watching your videos is what made me go natural and honestly I miss my relaxed hair. It was healthy and since I faithfully go to my beautician every two weeks I'm not worried about damage. I'm really considering going back to my hair crack😂

You don’t owe anybody any explanation as to why you cut the hair growing out of your head. People always giving their opinion on other people’s hair, like it’s theirs. If you shaved your head bald somebody would still have something to say about you “not” having hair! You just can’t win with the hair police.

Its nothing wrong with change. I had short hair from childhood I grew it out than at 14 I started relaxing it. My hair was growing so fast then I decided at 21 I was done relaxing it. I went natural since. I had heat damage at one point from over straightening it. After my cut too I decided I would grow it back out and today my hair is shoulder length. So I believe that doesn't matter what happens always accept what you love. I love your hair and I can't wait to see your wash an go videos to come.
I completely understand. I got heat damage in Jan and was initially sad but I started to see how great of an opportunity it was. I already have plans to grow it out so i can do tapered cut, shaved sides with color. The new cut looks great on you. How long did you grow out ur hair for? (For the Q&A)

I agree with you about long hair. It is a lot of work and I do dread doing my hair a lot of the time. Everything does take longer and as a busy person its hard to make the time to do it. I just want to enjoy my hair long for a little but I think I will cut mine as well. To all the haters length is not everything and you will understand when you have to deal with it.

lol at not understanding people who are so concerned about hair not growing from their head. I guess they get emotionally invested in your hair. I understand why actual professionals get perturbed because when you see something that you know isn't right in your profession it makes you want to jump in and correct it. For my stylists and my trichologists, I know that they get tired of fixing damaged hair. I know when I'm tired of my hair, I'm more likely to damage it. that's when I go see the professionals so they can give me a week or two break from doing my hair. But when you are a mom of multiple young children it's a lot to find time for your own self care!! The longer my hair gets the simpler my styles. literally twists and 2 or 3 french braids. My stylist and my trichologists do my hair is 1 or 2.5 hours maximum so I have no idea why I would spend longer doing it myself if the pro's don't. pre-poo and finger detangle 30 minutes. shampoo and deep condition 35 minutes. apply leave ins and detangle 30 minutes. Flat twist 25 minutes or 2 or 3 french braid 5 minutes! Once a week while multi-tasking.

Sweet Celiah, I could totally understand why you got tired of your longer hair. Same here, I always had shorter hair.. once it started growing I liked it at first but it is as you say .. takes a lot of work and a lot of time to wash, condition and style your hair.. and also if you don't do a W&G how your gonna style it. Pfff.. after 1,5 weeks your hair is dry and matted.. ughhh ughhh.. anyways we just go for what God gave us.😘

It is to the point that When need to wash my hair and I go days without doing it for the thought of washing it and then it gets more tangled and it’s like omg I need to do my hair.
