Ghostrick. It’s such a cute and gimmicky deck. It’s always been fun to mess with people by just flipping their stuff, flipping my stuff, just admiring these fun little halloween buddies. It hasn’t really won anything in years without mixing with other stuff, but it’ll always hold the top place in my heart.
I used to drive my friends crazy back in the day with Ghostricks! Very fun, yet so so annoying to play against XD
Labrynth. my favorite form of yugioh is when your decisions are influenced by the opponent's moves, so as soon as Labrynth was announced, I was excited to play a more modern version of Paleozoic, then Lady Labrynth came out and made the deck a theory-deckbuilding wet dream, and then Big Welcome smoothed the deck into satisfying levels of flexibility 😊
nowdays I think Tearlaments mirror is best for mid-range/combo mirror experience, Labrynth mirror is best for control mirror, the ridiculous decisions happening in the mirror is crazy 😍
I 100% agree! Though I hate getting a card ripped out of my hand turn 0, Lab has very flexibly combo lines. I'm also happy people are deciding to use the furniture build over just Eldlich 2.0. I contemplate on picking up the deck every day lol.
Floowandereeze is my second favorite deck of all time right behind Monarchs. They were the deck that got me into the game and my brother made me a monarch frog deck back in the day. Good times
Hell yeah! A brother in arms lol. I love that atleast one Monarch gets to see competitive play today. Raiza is an honorary Floowandereeze at this point lol.
Pure Evil Twin, (aka Big Lesbian Turbo), was mine. Simple combo that isn't negate-maxing, can play thru handtraps well, has lots of room for non-engine, and gets removal & card draw every turn. Floo is really cool too.
I love Pure Live/ Evil Twins too! I have a Playlist with some gameplay if you're interested! I'd upload more gameplay if it wasn't for the fact that they don't do so well lol.

My first love was Monarch and now Floowandereeze
Well back in the day it was Gadgets, but Floow is cool, always have that deck ready for the just in case formats, but currently having a little fun with Sunset Beat. The flexibility is wild and loose, playstyle unexpected, and the general easy-going vibe is honestly relaxing to me.
I love the new chimera and illusion type because most of them are based around monsters from yugioh video games like dark duel stories and sacred cards etc

Ice barriers: buying the structure deck introduced me to a cool otherworldly aesthetic and helped me get over a rough break up at the time. Currently awaiting the support from terminal revenge
The new support looks crazy! And though I didn't mention it in the video, I have a similar experience with Floo and helping me through a hard time. Crazy how small things can make a big difference lol.

Spellbooks. As a fan of Countercasters, I couldn't wait for the generic spellcasters support.
Favourite Deck is Melodious, always has been Melodious since I first laid eyes on it properly, and likely forever will be. First, the pretty design, then their fascinating history with the anime and how... Bad but strangely alluring they ended up being, and the new support's a miracle from heaven. I even wrote a fanfic about Melodious and later a guide once the new support came out!
That new support is crazy! Excited to see an older deck get some love!

8-Axis: I just really enjoy absolutely shattering boards and oneshotting people on the whiplash. And lets just say, Horus has been a HUGE help for the strategy.
ill bite. theres 3 decks i consider my center in gameplay. ive been playing Yugioh off and on since the first NA release, with my major decks all the way back in the early years of franchise as Gravekeepers pure and early Mill.
these days, my 3 decks are...
Cardians- Art design, art design, art design. this archetype is obscenely bricky, has long chains i still feel like i do wrong, and i have constantly horrible strings of luck with the deck, but when It properly goes off, do i ever love it. I want more support for this deck, someday in the future. it's about the only Synchro styled archetype i like playing on top of that.
Paleozoics- this is a personal favorite of mine and i wish it would get a support wave soon too. I know Labrynth functionally is the modern version of this deck in some ways, but there is nothing like playing with self-digging ancient fossils. to this day i run an Exodia variant of Paleos that has actually succeeded the condition a fair few times. sometimes though, people lack of knowledge on how Paleos function ends up being your advantage. the amount of handtraps my Paleo exceeds have brushed off has been utterly hilarious.
Runick- get the booing out of the way, go ahead. I play this in MD just like the last two, despite the banlisting, and no, I won't go "but stun is the bad way to play it, I'm better than that" because My main interest with it is to use it the way it was designed- to MILL. when this deck got announced I was immediately interested in actually playing it as a mill deck, not as a Synchro decks instant fusion catelogue. i'm working on expanding my means of playing the deck to include the combo variants (starting with Earthbound), and i do run a variant with magical musketeers, but my main variant is an attack-lock one with messenger of peace, toll hikes, and Difi instead of the major stun cards. I played mill back in the ancient days, and this is how i do it now. I live for mill strategies in card games, and I will play it regardless of the wishes for it to be removed despite the multiple waves of heavy 1 deck formats that don't involve it...
I used Floo to get thru the Master Duel Duelist Cup stage 2 in every season except for the current one (due to the hand trap meta) #freeempen
The unnecessary constant hits to Floo kind of turned me off to Master Duel. LET MY BIRDS FLY!!
A friend convinced me to enter TCG and help me made a toon deck which I always loved. Than I left the game and when I got back was intreduced to nemurelia

All time favorite deck is gonna be Traptrix because it was the first one I built seriously… HOWEVER! Floo is quickly approaching that favorite spot. I genuinely love the look on my opponents face when I normally Robina
Konami also made it pretty easy to build a competent deck with the structures. So many good staples in the Traptrix structure deck. And I couldn't agree with you more about normal summoning Robina XD.
@@BeardedSnowlYGO I ran traptrix to the point I was bored with the game. Then I built Dino… sadly dinos just arent viable… but then Floo fell into my lap and the love for the game came back. I’ve built Floo and added my own lil twist into it for my locals.

@@BeardedSnowlYGO the only stuff I added was summon limit because there’s a lot of combo decks running wild right now and a lot of back row hate. Also kaijus out the ass. A lot of people are running final sigma and Floo can’t get over that.

So yeah, we both are hated by the community. And for floo, you made me hate the deck less, reall issue are just feather storm and shifter.
If I made you hate Floo even slightly less then before, I have accomplished my goal lol. Though I completely understand the hate for shifter, its some of my only defense for cards like veiler and droll, other than a one of called by XD. As sad as that is to say. Eldlich Stun. I know it's gross but it was way past its prime(late 2022). Coming from magic, it helped me slow the game down and make it understandable as a new player. I still have a soft spot in my heart for it. I'm mostly on Runick Generaider right now, but I'm tinkering with A Eldlich Runick Stun build. Still do not understand the floodgate hate, seriously just play outs.
At the end of the day, it's what got you into the game and there's nothing wrong with that! People also hate my favorite deck lol. I'm glad that Generaider has been picked up alot lately, its an annoying deck to face, but its seems pretty interesting!
