    Almost exactly how I make mine. I add a little ground red pepper in the beginning and Parma cheese to the sauce at the very end before plating. Awesome!

    You don't use extra virgin olive oil for cooking, has a high smoke point. But you have given me some ideas for dinner.

  • @dannylucas7577
    @dannylucas7577 Před 3 lety

    I'm going to add some shallots, some kalamata olives, mushrooms, and red pepper flakes. Do a quick sear, remove from the heat, finish in the sauce. Smear some pesto across the plate, and top with some lump crab, and a little fresh parmigiano reggiano..

  • @ginobarbaro
    @ginobarbaro  Před 9 lety

    Yes, you can. Be careful and fold the filet. Try not to stir too much or else it might break apart. The fillet is cooked once it becomes opaque. You can also bake filet in the oven separately and then add in at the end.

    • @ginobarbaro
      @ginobarbaro  Před 10 lety

      You definitely can replace. I would cut the salmon in chunks, cook it for a couple of minutes before the shrimp because the shrimp cook quickly. I prefer wild salmon, but you can also use farm raised salmon

    • @jth1200
      @jth1200 Před měsícem

      Definitely overcooked ! Always cook your scallops first on both sides and remove from the pan, then the shrimp and remove from the pan, add your marinara with cream and heat , add the pasta so the sauce will stick and then return the scallops and shrimp ! And definitely needs parm/ regano add on top before serving. Shrimp and scallops have to be like eating a rubber band his way ! Just saying.

    That's a beautiful dish you need to be careful, if that's how you normally cook you're exposing people to raw shrimp and raw shellfish which can be really dangerous! Hopefully no one actually ate what you just cooked!
