Japan, the team with the most rapid development of football. someday we will see Japan bring the world cup trophy to their country
They were near at world cup 2018
Soccer and baseball are total different things.
Are you joking??????
Reading this comment after having them beat Spain and Germany in the last WC
Japan always a surprising and solid team and the japanese fans are the most humble of them all, ❤ from netherlands
They became better and better in a couple of decades, congrats Japan... Greetings from Argentina.
but can they do anything in todays world cup 2018?
They just need to beat either Senegal or Poland and they can make the top 16 again.
@@TheRealOtakuEdits they are now fifa rank 26.....they clearly went backwards...
Somos campeones amigo ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I come from China but I agree with the idea. And I watched how Japan’s football level improved in more than 2 decades. The distance between China and Japan is becoming larger. Japan’s first world cup is 1998. That time the Asia Playoff was so close and hard. For Japan they beat Iran in 1 goal and for China just missed a penalty. In 2002 Japan holds a world cup and up to top 16. But that’s the only time China take in world cup and finally got the 31th. Since 1998 Japan doesn’t missed anyone to take in the world cup and in 2010, 2018 they are close to up to quarter finals. I support Japan in world up and Yasuhito Endo is one of my fav player. These are just what makes deep impressions for me and let me think about that. 🇨🇳 🤝 🇯🇵 ⚽️⚽️
I Love Japan from Indonesia
ありがとう!
I was in Japan for the 2002 World Cup... still remember that Inamoto goal vs Belgium like it was yesterday. Kids who were inspired by the 1998 and 2002 squads may well end up forming the Golden Generation in the next two World Cups for Japan.
I always liked Japan and how they played football.
Halo Japan from Indonesia
I'm from Russia
in 2010 WC I supported Japan and it was SUPERB!! That 3-1 against Denmark and 1-0 over Cameroon!
Also Keisuke Honda played for FC CSKA Moscow, so he'squite popular with Russians
Иван Драго
Korea vs Russia 1:1 2014
Georgiy Ukhabin I think they would have beaten Spain in the quarter finals in 2010 if they beat Paraguay in the round of 16
congratulations japan! i am a big fan of your football, and i also think a lot of South Americans like me thinks that too, we owe you a lot for Captain Tsubasa anime, it inspired generations of children to play this glorious sport.
I think it's a tremendous achievement for the Japanese National Team to even be able to compete against their heroes like Ronaldo & Kaka. I think Japanese Football in the short amount of time it's been established has proceeded forward exceedingly well.
love japan from india
ありがとう!
Watching this after Japan's defeat against Belgium.
They really had this on the first half... but oh well
Great attempt nonetheless.
Man, it would be Brazil v Japan but not on the 1st round, it'd be on quarter finals. What a great achieve it would be for Japan...
@@debruyne8773 japan would've lose horribly lol
😣😭💔
Eeeehhhh.... , Itadakimasu 🙏
Long live Japan From Spain :D
Sean Hossain WTF, WWWWWHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY????!!!!!!! WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY????!!!!! YOU IMBECILE!!!! YOU RUINED THE UNREPLIEDNESS OF A COMMENT!!!! THANKS A LOT MAN!!!!!!
Croatia vs Japan 1998 actually finished with Croatia winning 1-0 with a Davor Suker goal in the 77th minute. At the beginning of the video the commentator states that Japan went on with a goalless draw against Croatia. Not sure if someone stated this before, I just saw this video, I'm Croatian, but I'm a big fan of Japanese football players, and the Japanese National Team.
I spotted it. What a ridiculous mistake to make.
I have watch that match video great match it can be win for Croatia or Japanese or draw. Croatia the lucky win the match. Just when Japan vs Argentina, Argentina much stronger but lack of shooting. They always shoot but only get 1 goal. Hope Croatia can be back in World Cup.
nakata is too much a beautiful soul to have continued being in the business/politival oriented fooball arena. Look what happened in 2002 world cup for instance. one of the biggest scandals in sports history. I wish there would be more human beings like him... He is an example for generations to come. unlike very famous todays footballers--
As an American, it's a parallel to see a team like the Japanese grow rapidly. It's fantastic to see teams that can challenge world superpowers. I love it. "素晴らしい仕事"(Excellent work) from the United States.
Love Japan from America!
I really hope Japan does well in 2018 World Cup in Russia. It was amazing when Japan won the women's World Cup!
Haha their woman already win the world cup just waiting for their men football.
Chisa Sasuke ok then but you might have to be immortal to wait for that
blue samuraiiii !!
All Suport FOR JAPAN Greetings from BRAZIL !!!!!
GANBARE! GO BLUE SAMURAI!
played great against belgium today, such a great match. But the better one eventually won, such a good performance for Japan
Nakata is the best japanese player ever.
No, Endou Mamoru is😂
Jellal Fernandez no way, man.
IRON1I7 I'm a little late but he's right
INTJ-Skorpyo7 hidetoshi
Honda though
Greetings from Scotland, always support Japan when Scotland isn't involved.........which is most of the time these days
thank you

How did they not mention the most important player, Tsubasa?
Japan King of Asia...
KONICHIWAAAAA i like this japan side with honda and kagawa. Nice style of play and very quick. I hope to see them prosper in the next world cup good luck.
I don't think so.
I came from the future, Japan beating Germany, Spain and was almost on quarterfinal
The best Nihon!! The best Japan!! :3
JAPAN FOOTBALL KIT IS AMAZING
they may have lost in 2002 world cup .. but they didn't cheat like the other co-host.
Jin Seong KIM Sean Hossain WTF, WWWWWHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY????!!!!!!! WHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY????!!!!! YOU IMBECILE!!!! YOU RUINED THE UNREPLIEDNESS OF A COMMENT!!!! THANKS A LOT MAN!!!!!!
TheVideomaker2341 lmao dude wtf
? Lol japan barely made it through groups even with referee help and home turf advantage
Emmanuel Matu indeed
Real cheater is who envy Korea.
now they might not be the best but thinking that Japan in just one decade went from a country that never qualified to being a regular qualifier in world cup is pretty amazing, and who knows maybe they might win the world cup someday
I think Japan will be the first world champion outside of south america nor europe
diechv 93 africa?
Africa will never will a world cup. In my lifetime anyway.
Gilles Paling lol a lot of players who have one the world cup were africans that played for European countries. Imagine if Congo team would have players like Lukaku and Kante
Young City Bandit Keep imagining. African teams are too corrupt and disorganised to win a world cup.
diechv 93 That will never happen
I'am from Honduras but iam a big fan of japan futbol team ✌
why not? and why do u care?
japan league structure was amazing..Hope you guys will keep growing.maybe one become first asia country win the world cup...
The Japanese are the greatest in Asia.
Go japan !
Japan is da best! :D
thesteveincage qqq
Japan rocked this year, almsot won against Belgium. They deserved to imo
It's gonna be definitely nice match. Good luck volunteer amd appreciate that:D
Someday Asia gonna be the best in football because we all are walking so hard💖💖
I love Japan Football team
The pride of Asia
They are named “samurai blue”, not the blue samurai
ferrari < honda
Hang in there Japan!
JAPAN SKILL IS NO1 IN ASIA
What I like most in all of Japan's sport teams is that they are almost never the favorites, but they never give up, and everyone kinda have a sympathy for them.
Inamotto ,still my favourite player in Japan 👏
Hidetoshi Nakata was my favorite Player
uchida!
Honda!
tem muitas feras na seleção do Japan
Keisuke Honda,Shinji Kagawa,Morimoto
E Outros muitos jogadores
o futebol japones ta crescendo VALEu
it was not draw against Croatia in 1998; they lost 1-0 , Suker scored, but they did draw against Croatia in 2006., . Greetings to Japan
Go go Japan :)
What steps does Japan have to take to be on top 10 of the world better and new coaching, training etc. ?
I believe they need to develop new world class players, and talents comparable to top teams with strong (fan, sponsor) support and hard work. More good tournaments abroad and more victories will build confidence and talents. They also have good national league to build players.
Yes what you said are all correct. And just to add on Japan needs a strong youth academy. For example Barcelona, Man U always produce talents.
+James Chuaycham................it takes years of development and long periods of more disappointment than success in regional and world tournaments. And you have to be able to appreciate improvement that doesn't necessarily result in higher and higher tournament finishes. A few more specific points:
You have to solidify the internal youth league infrastructure such that kids from the earliest age can progress smoothly from one level to the next as they grow, and be able to develop and be challenged at each level all the way through college and into the professional tier.
You have to scout across the entire country to identify exceptional kids - the Hondas and Endos and Okazakis and Nakatas, etc - and keep them interested in soccer rather than baseball or kendo or ski jumping or whatever. You must be prepared to ship them overseas to develop alongside the best European kids at the best sports academies. You have to have the fortitude and the financial commitment to send them away as children and leave them in Europe to pursue La Liga and Bundesliga and Premiere League careers.
You also have to push soccer as the premier Japanese sport - not the aforementioned baseball or kendo, etc - and get kids into it in any way you can. Japan is ranked 11th in world population in 2016 behind only one top team (Brazil), and thus they should be producing roughly the same amount of raw talent as any other top soccer country. In the US (my country), there is an incomprehensibly stupid cultural bias against soccer that, combined with the popularity of baseball, basketball and American football, discourages kids from joining. A real and very laughable sense of "manhood" in the US unfairly works against the popularity of the sport. Japan does not have this ridiculous hurdle to overcome, thankfully, but there are other sports and traditions that compete for kids' interests at the critical age where they must be exposed and then commit to soccer.
AsianAviatorROBLOX I think he is world class now
James Chuaycham ป้อม ศักดิ์ชัย agree. I am rooting for Japan. From U.S
LOLWUT123 he’s really not. Honda was the peak of japan
Wow 1998, a mere 10 years ago now it's almost 20 years 😐
I’ll be watching in 2050 when I’m an old man
Junichi inamoto
Go Tsubasa!
That is sad yet very true.
World soccer fans.
However, the Japanese soccer level is nearing a world level surely step by step.
Originally we Japanese are serious national traits.
It is the same in the place of the soccer, and it embodies in it.
Our soccer in Japan wins the championship at "World Cup of the world's highest mountain" by all means and declares that I join the world strong country sometime.
the great junichi inamoto
Vamos japan
This clip was made very long ago. Narazaki and Inamoto are long gone from the squads.
Japan is the greatest country in the world today. Greetings from Greece.
To people who say Japan sucks at football it's because they are fair play. They are not like Germany or Argentina.
Digifan001 True and what they should do is to not respect their opponents too much
lets see what they can do in 2018
MrWalker1000 Who knows what the blue samurai might achieve
We won against Columbia! We are so happy and did not expect it!
Second round again not bad really Japan is becoming a world football power
India too hosted u17 WC in 2017 . I also believe that India will play in world cup soon
0:53 Bandera de argentina!!!
Tamada was the scorer, dude. Okubo assisted. look it up
They didn’t draw against Croatia in 1998
Why Japanese football increase so much that is start from Captain Tsubasa manga. I watch Hidetoshi Nakata video interview he say something about Captain Tsubasa and he the first Japanese football generation playing for the first world cup for Japan.😁
yeah FIFA gotta make a video about them after 2010 world cup..
I Love Shunsuke Nakamura
It wasn't a goaless draw with Croatia. Croatia won that game 1 - 0 * Davor Suker scored.
So is Narazaki
Next Era
where is tsubasa ozora?
satya pawitra he's already be jav star
Japan is the only team in Asia i suport i hate South Korea! but the blue samurai's are awsome my favorit 2 japanese players are Nakata and Nakamuru
yeah me too, Japan didn't cheat like Korea.
LItaliano84
Japanese are too proud to cheat.
But didn’t you guys also have referee help? Against Russia? Do you guys remember that? You’re just mad that South Korea is better at cheating if they cheated at all
It.s nakamura ..
Ah i see the reason why you are hated Korea it is because Japan always lost for Korea in important games hahaha
i love play station
Japan is a good team, they beat Argentina not long time ago.. and they play very well.. it is exciting to see how football is becoming more and more competitive
Imao Japan vs Turkey vibes came back to haunt Japan in 2018, I Feel they still could have beaten Turkey
1998 ten years ago?? Well this is an old video
WHERES HONDAS CRAZY ASS FREE KICK!
Trust me this was because of captain Tsubasa
Asian countries are supporting Japan. Unity.
When South Korea was dropped from groups I rooted for japan
2018 GOOD
not yet buddy
that was not Keiji Tamada, it was Yoshito Okubo
Their 1998 jersey is lit
6:22 wished players here in switzerland would sing the national anthem...
Being Australian I never really realised how much of a threat Japan could be especially since we beat them 3-1 in 2006 to qualify for the round of 16. But it seems like their team then was really special.
They can win the world cup in 2022!!!
You realize that Japan beat both Argentina and France right?
No they did not
Darwin Gonzalez haha in your face boi jealous South Korean muggle
Why japan dint call up tsubasa in world cup tournament,,
Need Roberto Hongo to coach them
