Regrading & Ditching with rear angle blade! This was in bad shape!

- This was done just a few days after the heavy rains. Using the Kubota M6060 and rear angle blade to repair a driveway in bad shape! Trucking with the International 4900 DT466.

I went by the other day and after some rain the gravel was washed off and looking good. They may not need much gravel. Thanks so much for watching!

I wasn’t so sure of a good outcome when I first saw how bad this was. But it ended up looking good. Went by Sunday and after a few rains the gravel was washed clean and looked better. Thanks for watching!

After seeing the condition of the road it blew my mind. She had been trying to get help since February and after this last big rain it was to the point they couldn’t hardly get out. I really enjoyed the job!

Ben, I have been a ordained pastor for 45 years and bought my first tractor, a Kubota BX23S, when I was 70 years old and had never been on a tractor in my life. I have been watching a lot of your videos and have learned a lot about using different tractor attachments. That’s good! Hope you’ve enjoyed the BX so far. We can’t always help people for free or a reduced rate but when we come across certain situations we better do it. For years we cleared driveways in the winter free of charge during big snows, I figure God blessed me to have the equipment and ability to operate it so I should use that gift to help others. @@khtractors Amen! The one area I have the greatest struggle with is adjusting the three point hitch. I still have a lot to learn.
@@mikewinters9212 the BX I terrible to do any fine grading with using the 3 point. I don’t like the lift arm control on them, it’s a different setup then any other tractor.

I was blessed to grow up with equipment. Our farm and ranch kept my brothers and I pretty busy plowing, harvesting and moving dirt. When I left out on my own, I sorely missed having some kind of tractor to do what ever needed done. When I was blessed enough to buy a new kubota and a plethora of Land Pride attachments some 20 years ago, I made a promise to myself and God that I would do what you just did whenever I could. You can always feel the spirit moving during a job like that.

Since gravel will move so easy I like to drag all the gravel down in a pile and ten rework the base so it will pack then bring gravel back for the top coating

The push blade would be if it had a tilt cylinder. I can angle it but not tilt it. The advantage to a rear blade is visibility. Thanks for watching!
