24 degrees is really steep, I have one hillside on my mom's place that's close to that, maybe two spots. That said it's not very much maybe 3 acres but only an acre in two different fields. I don't like either, but if you're mindful you can manage it, better make sure the brakes work good though. Mine was a little weak and my youngest son was driving the baler and he had to back up and forgot, put it in reverse and couldn't stop it until the baler hit a tree. He and the equipment was okay, but I fix them after that. Thanks for sharing, have a good night!

When cutting hay you can tell when you hit a bit of a hill it gets into the horse power of the Deere quick. I'm over here patting my foot trying to hit the foot throttle to give a bit of grunt to it.
Yeah it pulls down a little more than the Kubota but not too much considering the hp difference. Thanks for watching

That mower setup still seems like an awesome combo, nice to see it up close in action. (Same with the rake!). Congrats on the final push of first cut, hope it went well! (I’ll stay tuned!).
Good idea with the level app on your phone - I should check some of mine 😅. But that’s a darn steep side hill, glad you have plenty of ballast and are tackling it slowly and methodically. Stay safe!
Back a few years ago I’d square bale that spot and the bales would roll to the bottom as they came out of the baler. Thanks for watching

No but my great aunt Aurora did, she lived directly across from us. She cut hair in her basement for years. Did you know of her?

I do 4x4’s because they sale better here. I’ve baled some 4x5’s in the past but not many. Thanks for watching

I was trying to say, I have a Tractor like yours John, Deere 5045E. What size is the disc mower you are using on your tractor. I am looking for one for mine.
@@tomlavelle3753 it’s a Massey DM205, 7 foot. I’ve used my Vermeer 7ft on it but the Vermeer is a bit heavy on it. Handles the Massey really good.
