I have been searching for an earbud case comparison and finally found one. Thank you so much!!!
Glad I could help!
Hey brother thanks again for another AMAZING comparison! You're one of the very few that actually does the comparisons that I'm looking for and I can tell you really know you're stuff so I take highly value your opinion on these products. That being said, I'm really stuck between the MTW3, the B&O EX and the MW08 Sport. Knowing that I'm down to these 3 I'm sure you can tell the type of headphones I'm looking for. I would love to know how you compare these 3 to one another just like you did in this video but replacing the EQ's with the MW08 Sport. Can't wait to hear back from you. Keep up the great work man you deserve WAYYYYYY more views than you're currently getting, but trust me you're well on your way!!
thanks for your kind words. I am actually working on a video to showcase the EX, MTW3, PI7 and MW08 Sport. Just need to get 1 video out before that. so just stay tuned mate.
Thanks for the video. Agreed on sensitivity of touch controls on mtw3, but I found that actually to be a positive in some ways, especially in terms of its responsiveness. It feels instant. Also the transparency mode on the mtw3's are amazing. I had the beoplay ex, but I had to return as I couldn't connect it to my Chromebook (weird I know, maybe a dud set??). Also I noticed more audio delay when watching content on CZcams and Netflix (approx 100ms) compared to other buds Inc the mtw3 which ranged from 20-40ms. Ended up being a Deal breaker for me. Are you able to comment on the audio delay if you notice any difference? Otherwise I may consider re purchasing the ex again in case I had a dud set.
hey, were you on the latest firmware? the update does not mention that they fixed something with the connectivity, but i wonder if that had anything to do with what I experienced vs what you experienced. as soon as i got the EX i was prompted for an update and I used the earbuds after the installation was complete. I had no issues with delay. and certainly not as much as 100ms, otherwise i would have reported on the video
@@TechKnowBiz yeah I did do the firmware update. Gonna try the buds in the Richmond Vic store this weekend I reckon to figure it out
@@hooligansharma damn, they let you do that? In JB hifi if you wear it you buy it..haha
Informative! Thanks.
I have been enjoying your reviews lately. My wife and I had the pleasure of being in Sydney some time ago. It is a beautiful city. Which part of Australia are you located? I did just receive my Sennheiser MTW3's on Saturday. They are the best sounding earbuds that I have had so far and they are very comfortable too. Those are the 2 main things I was looking for and they nail it. I am hoping they update for the multipoint soon though. I have the Bose QC's and they are very good, but not something I find myself reaching for very often. The MTW3 beat them for sound and about a tie on comfort. I had the Sony XM4's but I could not get them to be comfortable, even trying different tips. My go to for all around use when I am inside my house are the AirPod Pro's. Nothing beats their ease of use on Apple ecosystem, and they are the best on transparency mode which I use quite often so I can hear my wife. Okay, hello from America and keep up the great reviews!
Nice meeting you mate. I live in the north western side of Sydney closer to the mountains. and yeah, the MTW3s are great. You and me we have a lot in common. I also avoid the bose quietcomforts because the case is so big, it almost needs a bag to be carried around. And I usually shuffle between the Airpods Max and some other headphone that I am testing at that time. As you said, if you are in the apple ecosystem might as well use an apple product to get the most out of it.
I have bought EX and I am very happy. sound very deep and loaud.
As the most important is sound quality and comfort, easy to decide 😎
I have beoplay EQ for 4 months and I really enjoy the sound quality. superb sound quality
EQ was my daily driver before the EX came out. Really loved them, solid connection and really good sound.
@@TechKnowBiz what do you like more about the EX over the EQ sound wise
Bang and Olufsen Ex for me.. It is like the Rolce Royce among TWS earphones ❤
I bet u like gucci aswell 🤣
I agree. I have Klipsch T5 ii Mclarens, B&O EQ, AirPods, Monster DNA Fit and the EX are by far the best. The King of sound is still the Shure SE846 pros, but they are $1,100.
@@Beskar_Sleepersome are way better than the 846… I have those. For me the fit of the EX are miles better than the others - I find them clumsy and clunky in comparison
I disagree. The ANC is pure unadulterated shit.
Can i shed a bit of light on my experience so far? Buggy app which took me hours to connect my phone to, i was already aware of the lack of ANC before purchasing and the Mic not being the best - i don't want them for talking and not to fussed about ANC as i have some Bose IEM's which do that fantastically. But the part that really started to give me the shits was sometimes they only charge to 88% ish, other times to 100.. then the connectivity.. i walk from work through the city and holy shit, the amount of times it crackles, pops and cuts out in one ear really got to me. I don't know if it's a phone thing, or the earbuds codec but it happens way more than it should.. i own a samsung s23 so a new phone. Maybe this is better on an iphone? But for the price i paid ($700 aud here in australia) i expected a lot more. Don't get me wrong, the sound quality is fantastic - if you are sitting at home with no interference..
The touch controls on the MTW3's can be disabled via the app, I do this a lot if I'm listening to a playlist where I know I won't be skipping tracks or altering volume but may want to remove a bud to speak to someone. Hopefully Sennheiser will release a firmware update enabling multipoint soon. Great review btw.
thats a great tip. I actually found about the disabling of touch controls through your comment. Thanks mate. I will definitely try it
Good tip especially if you have a smartwatch that provides volume/track controls already
Great review, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful takes
Very informative
Had the momentum 3 for a couple of days now and so far they are the best ear buds I’ve own way better than my AirPods Pro and the call quality is outstanding
offcourse they are better than airpods. only apple fanboy like airpods. airpods sounds like all china product. similar to MINISO product. and you can buy miniso product for only $5.
Have you tried the Sony XM4's? Trying to decide between momentum 3 and XM4. Can't find many head to head videos of those two
@@majorwakanda8858 I never tried the Sonys xm4 but I heard nothing but good thing about them and I seen some videos putting them head to head and they and from what I seen some are saying the sennys have better sound and the xm4 ANC is a littler better but not by much either way You can go wrong with both
@@seanjoe1704lmao bros mad he can’t afford apple 😂
How does the B&O compare with AirPods Pro ?
Honesty … Thank You 🙏🏻
You are welcome 🙂
I have a dilemma, in my search for the best earbuds I always finish with the sennheiser and the beoplay EX and every body’s saying the sennheiser are the better pick because of the price. However, I live in Japan and here both the sennheiser and the EX are at 39 900 yen, so about 283 USD or 455 NZD. After a lots of search it seems that the EX is a lot cheaper here. The price isn’t a factor at all so I honestly don’t know which one I should buy, I for sure want a good sounding pairs of earbuds about also an above average noise canceling and some good enough mics, after all earbuds are meant to be use outside.
mate, if money is not an issue, then get the EX. They are the best sounding earbuds by far and noise cancellation wise also there is hardly any difference with the MTW3. If the EX fits you well then you will get good noise cancellation anyways
Congrats on the low price! Enjoy (:
I'm in a big dilemma, I started with a pi7, I wanted a bit wilder plus eq. The mtw3 gave me that, a tough real German 😄 However, the pi7 is a little more detailed and the stage is brilliant. The point is that now I want a mixture of these two, so to speak. Could ex be the solution?
Maybe not. Solely because its not as bass forward as the PI7 and the MTW3. The bass is more tighter and the volume could come off as a bit low to some people as well. But, personally I prefer the EX because of their accuracy across all the frequency range.
How does the sennheiser compare to EX with the hiss during silence? I had this issue with MTW2
EX is much much better. Almost no hissing during silences on songs. MTW3 are better than MTW2. But not better than EX.
@@TechKnowBiz the EX might be worth it for me in that case as this really bothered me with mtw2. I just hope they improve ANC with software
Great comparison video. I just purchased the momentum 3s. If I’m not wowed by the sound I will try the Beoplay ex. I currently have the Sony’s and the sound from them suck compared to what the eq had when I compared.
did you end up keeping the TW3s? I am trying to decide between those and the Beoplay EX
@@Cielinky I actually returned them. I have an iPhone, so it doesn’t utilize the best codec for the device. It sounded marginally better than the Sonys. But not worth the cost of purchasing them. I’m going to save up for the Beoplays
@@AliMohamed-tr1ii Sorry to hear that! I have an iPhone as well. Was there anything else you didn't like about them? I have heard that buying the COMPLY foam tips for the MTW3s can make a decent sound improvement
@@Cielinky i wasn’t wowed by the sound quality because it sounded too similar to Sony’s xm4. If I had comply tips available I would have tried it. I don’t think it would have been that much better to be honest. If I didn’t have the Sonys already I would choose the momentum 3 bc it is slightly better but it’s really not by much.
@@AliMohamed-tr1ii that’s definitely not true, the MTW3’s sound so much cleaner and fuller with better expression then the Sony xm4’s! I bought the Sonys 1st and I was good with them until I was told to check the MTW3’s out and man was I twisted up! 1st I am a Sony hater, but loved their headphones until I heard the B&W PX7’s then I bought the Sony xm4’s and loved them until I heard the MTW3’s, so I love that I don’t have to keep the Sony’s! Xbox Series X all day here!
Hey there, how would you compare the sound profile of the EX with the Airpod pro 2?
There is a video on this very topi on my channel already mate
Do the Momentum TW3 have any issues with battery drain like the first version?
fortunately nothing to report like that as of yet
I can confirm the Senn M tw2 and tw3 have no battery drain issue. The 1's totally did
bought the EX months ago. i love it but i only use it for the gym (thats what earbuds are for?) . In most cases I stick to my Beoplay HX.
Does the the headset beoplay hx have a better sound than the beoplay ex ?
@@naras-95 yes. HX is louder and carry more bass because it has larger drivers. EX is the best Bluetooth earbuds out there imo but is nowhere nearly as powerful as H95 and HX
It’s almost like i’m using different products. I listen to instrumental music and mtw3 beat any b&o hands down in terms of precision, treble, volume and lack of annoying overpowering base that so many people happen to love. However, for my ear canal anc on mtw3 is worse, case is thicker and more issues with connection. I don’t feel like b&o price is justified at all
the fit on the ears can also make a lot of difference in sound and ANC quality. Maybe MTW3 suits your ears the best? But I agree that B&O is way too expensive. I could buy an over ear headphones with that much money.
@@TechKnowBiz I don’t mind the price for ex. What i do mind is not hearing certain higher frequency sounds that i know should be there.
Right now the eq and momentum 3s are both £200, i care about sound quality and battery so which one should i choose
Battery life is pretty much the same. so get the MTW3. I think for everyday usage its great.
In Australia the the EQs are 270 and the MTW3 are 298. Which one would you recommend for this price?
I personally like the sound of the EQ over the MTW3. So I would recommend the BnO
@@TechKnowBiz thanks 👍. Keep the good work!
Great video
Do these sound better than the Sony xm4? Particularly with bass.
I would say so. The MTW3 in particular has more bass than the EX and the EQ but the EX and the EQ are much more precise for which I prefer them.
@@TechKnowBiz everyone claimed that sony xm4s had the best bass, but was left disappointed with the lack of it. Thx for the response. I’ve decided to spend even more money for the MTW3s lol.
@@fazeapplestic9420 Yeah I know all the reviewers always rave about Sony's sound. Which honstly speaking I would say works well for the masses. But I am personally not a big fan. I like my sound to be precise than just pumping out more bass. It does make a difference when you listen to a rage of different genres. But with the MTW3s, you have a made a good choice mate. You will not be disappointed.
Thank you
You're welcome mate
MTW3 with ANC on can barely last 5hours even in AAC codec, sometimes even less depending on your volume.
No where near 6.5, 7hrs w/o ANC is true though.
I am trying to decide between the MTW3s and the B&O EXs.
From reviews the MTW3s seem to be the better all around option especially for the price but if money is not a concern and the listener wants the best SQ then the B&O EX is the better option. I primarily use my earbuds for commuting, the gym, and occasionally flying. I mainly listen to electronic, rap, and R&B. I would say I am a bass head when it comes to ear buds because I want energetic music for the gym and a punchy bass. I need an earbud that I don't have to worry about falling out while doing movements at the gym and hopefully something that will remain comfortable after long hours of listening for plane rides. I keep on being drawn to the B&O EXs for their SQ, comfort, and design even though it has some downsides especially at that price point. I already have studio grade headphones and custom IEMs for accurate at home listening, yet something still draws me to the B&O EXs despite the price difference and flaws such as its ANC. I've heard the MTW3s are more targeted for bass head listeners so I am leaning towards those at the moment.
What would you recommend?
MTW3s are great for bass and over all sound quality. But the EX have a better driver inside which is more powerful. So you will get more volume and more thump in your bass. But honestly these are minor drawbacks for the MTW3s. Most of the time you will not even understand the difference. Plus you say you already have studio grade earbuds for home? in that case if I were you, I would save some money and get the MTW3s.
Yo pls post an update on the fence for the both of them as well.
Hi !! :)
Question for you: you use earbuds for gym as the same as me :)
But the sound quality is not that good with earbuds (compare to my xm4 headphones or my b&o h95). I have never listened to iem. If you compare iem’s to earbuds like momemtum 3 or b&o eq or ex, are the iem’s are better in terms of sound quality? Do you use iem at the gym? If yes, is it annoying to have wires a the gym? Sorry for bad english i speak french :)
Thank you for your time :)
@@Patrickmathieu0482 Try going to gym with wires and you will see it sucks. Especialy if you have dac like Dragonfly that you want to use... The sound is good, sure, but overall its NOT worth it at all, especialy because its too Big for a pocket and ruins the charging connection... With twb you want to buy BTR5. Its a gamechanger
I own the Senn. MTW3s & use them at work & gym. I’ve tried different silicone earbud tips & noticed it seems to affect how they seal in my ears. They sound great by the way.
Hi res streaming?
With the new update, sennheiser momentum 3 tws can connect two devices at the same time.
yes thats right. Thanks for updating :)
The ex always felt too small in my ears. Trying to pick vs the mtw3. Ex has better sound, but I keep messing with them, can't just stay comfortable
What’s the loudest one please mate
the beoplay EX is the loudest
I m not sure that Sennheiser MT3 Have only 95 decibels i think its about 116 decibels..
Actually it can vary depending on phones/codec used to carry out the testing. Some phones have a limiter that can stop the sound to go beyond a certain limit.
It's brutal for me too😂
I hav the TW3 i love them !!
In Austraila there $399
I got mine for $330.
Whoa, thats a steal mate. MTW3s are great
@@TechKnowBiz for earbuds they pack a punch !

yes
Which are the Best Truly Wireless Earbuds sound wise only of these listed below ⬇️ I already have both BEOPLAYS (EQ and EX) but I want another pair for when I’m out and about on the go sound quality only?
1)Bowers and Wilkins P.I. 7
2)Technics A-60
3)Masters and Dynamics MW08
4)Sennheisser TW3
i would highly recommend the MW08. Very good sound. PI7s are louder and more bassy but sometimes get muddy. And since you own the EX and the Eq no need for the TW3 in my opinion as they all ahve the same sound profile (i,e flat or neutral)
@@TechKnowBiz lastly what about the Techniques how do they stack up to this lineup sound wise with this particular line up ⬆️?

Beoplay EX : winner ! But very, very expensive ! Price in Europe: The Netherlands €399 !
Lets not talk about the build quality and the flakiness of the Senns. I've owned a couple, Momentum 3's and i've had a terrible time. They are great other than being trash. They continually have given me hardware problems. Sound quality is great, when they work and charge, let alone hook up.
this is why warranty is so important. My Beoplay EQ stopped working and I went to my local B&O store and they let me pick whatever from the store. And I picked another EX 😂. Free upgarde
@@TechKnowBiz Nice :)
The Beoplay has the WORST noise cancelling and the fact that they charge $400 is the height of arrogance. I gave mine back to Amazon a week ago after realizing that they cannot be used in a gym, on the street or in public transit. Great sound but what’s the point of you cannot use in areas where there is ambient sound?
1 more evo review please
thanks for the suggestion. I am going to do that soon
Ended up buying EQ and TW3, mainly because they combined cost less then the EX, so I decided to spoil myself a little
haha..wow thats a good bargain
In Denmark you can buy the sennheisers and EQ and still save 80 bucks than if you went for the EX
UPD: I had to complain to B&O about my EQs because connection to the iPhone app was not always reliable, and they replaced them with a brand new pair of EX. And now I'm torn. I was never a fan of the stem design, but the EX look very good and feel more comfortable. But the biggest difference for me is in thir weight, the EX are much lighter and sit more firmly in the ears, so overall I find them more comfortable.
The TW3 still performs very well.
It's not hard at all. Well, since the update EX hands down the best. The sound is awesome.
I get 3 full charges out of my ex case.
EX for me!
Sq bowers&wilkins pi7 vs senn3 and BO ex. Only SQ. Thank you
for sound quality only, Beoplay EX wins hands down. No contest
Very subjective, I have the EX, and the Pi7... Personally, the Pi7 is my go to, absolutely love them both, but the Pi7 has a much richer sound, and actually gets louder without distortion...
