- In this video I show you how to install a rear windscreen on your Can-Am Maverick X3.
Lately it has been really driving me nuts having dust and heat constantly building up in the front dash area from the vacuum created by the front windshield and having a roof. Adding a rear windscreen is quick and inexpensive way to block out the extra dust and heat while also protecting the passengers in the backseat from debris coming in through the back of the cab. Or if you have a two seater, protecting yourself from having crap hitting you in the back of the head.
Kemimoto was nice enough to send me a rear windscreen to show how simple it is to install and add some extra protection on your Maverick X3.

Now you get to fill in all the huge gaps in between the fire wall and the insides, that's where i get the most dust coming in at,,from the back tires
I love your front light bar , where did you get it ? And the mount ?
Did it help with the dust in the cab? I’m think about buying the Bent Metal windshield but the more people I talk to about it the more hesitant I get. Fantastic window from what I hear but I’ve hear with the rear window the heat in the cab even with vents open and no side windows is miserable when hot out. Also they say with a front and rear window the dust still seems to swirl in the cab from the side windows. What are your thoughts?
It would make more sense to add some kind of spoiler that breaks the vacuum and adds to cabin cooling
Im wondering if this will affect with the dust particle seperater at all?? Also the cooling system??

What did you do with the speakers?
Now you have little to zero air flow over your intercooler. I see the maverick R has a roof scope to combat this issue, but what do you do for the x3? It could be a pretty big drop in performance with much higher intake temps.
Maybe 🤔 I should fabricate a scoop.
How did you mount the chase light? Do you have a video mounting it?
Chase light comes with long channel bolts that mount to existing holes in the roll cage. I just drilled 2 small holes in the windscreen.

I have the exact same setup and the exhaust fumes make it unbearable to drive. Do you have this issue?
I did , so far the rear glass seems to be helping. Honestly any rear glass should help. Easy way to try is to use some cardboard in the back and see if it helps.
Should have gone with spike powersports rear windshield. Kemi motos rear windshield is terrible. At least with spike its molded and belt to proper profile, and has an adjustable vent for the intercooler.
I have speaker pods and particle separator. I didn't see you put the pods back on, did you?
Yes I did, I cut the rear windshield.
What about your speakers
I am still trying to figure out what I will do. I’m actually considering cutting the windscreen to allow the speakers to go back in the same place.
What did you do with speakers?
I actually cut holes for the speakers in the wind screen and mounted them exactly where it was mounted before.
Did you notice a difference with dust and heat after installing?
Yes, it does help.
Who makes the roof?
AFX. I would not recommend it.
@@MohawkDaveOffRoad I just got my windshield from Bent Metal. And I was looking into AFX. Is there a reason you don’t recommend their roof.
