30 Minute Walking Workout // Power Walking Intervals for Calorie Burning Fun!

- Please join me for this engaging walking workout that focuses on increasing your power! It's important to work on your ability to do powerful movements that increase your reaction time as well as build bone density. This is a great way to get a full body workout and get your steps in.
This workout is set to the beat of music which keeps us at pace as well motivated! It also has a timer. Throughout the workout we will alternate between 30 seconds of walking in place with 60 seconds of a power move. The exercises that will help increase your bone density as get get your heart rate up involve a little more bouncing. There is no jumping, but there is a little more impact. Go at your own pace if you need to.
This workout is appropriate for all ages including beginners and seniors, and are an excellent way to get your steps in and increase your heart rate. We will alternate aerobic moves with walking in place for a fun way to move our bodies.
This walking workout is 27 minutes and is set to the music so it keeps us moving at an achievable pace. I was able to get 3400 steps in and burned 150 calories!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you personally for all of these videos. I am a 62 year old man who has been using your videos for about a year now. I combine them with outdoor 2 mile speed walks in the warmer weather. All of that, combined with a very healthy diet, has allowed me to lose about 25 pounds....about 175 now down from about 200. I feel fantastic...and, notably, I feel so much stronger and more toned everywhere....and that is clearly from your workouts. Thank you again!

Speaking of walking in warmer weather... I "hibernate" indoors for July, August and much of September. With Lauren's routines, I'm all set to maintain health, fitness, strength, balance and GOOD MOODS. I use these walking videos (at my pace) for after-dinner during these too-humid and hot evenings. I put an entertaining program on the computer screen, make another - smaller - screen of Lauren walking, and I'm happy as can be in air conditioned bliss! I, too, feel stronger, more capable and toned. The evidence: I'm helping hubby during the day with a greenhouse building project and stepping up/down the ladder, holding aluminum frame in place (bellybutton in, breath in/out!) has been doable/ The magical "economy" of these routines: you get double, triple your effort back in so many ways!

Found your channel this week as I was on a spiritual & physical 3 day fast. I’m 63 without any serious health conditions and really have enjoyed following your workouts. Thank you for caring for us more mature humans. I do a lot of walking and hiking as we live in an RV “out to see America”, so it’s good to know I can take my instructor with me everywhere I go! We went to the sea, outside Athens, today. It's really warm like June in Greece. And had fried fish and seafood and much wine. Coming back home in Athens, I was feeling bloated and with a heavy stomach, even after 7 hours from the big meal. Your workout helped me relieve those symptoms and feel good and happy! I loved this! I did aerobics for 40 years but took a 4 month break because of a torn meniscus. I’m a 76 year old retired music/ piano teacher and I had to take a break half way through but one of these days I will do it all without a break. On the quieter workouts, I love the piano music and all the stretches and breathing. Thanks so very much!

Good afternoon, Lauren and thank you for your variety of exercise plans that allow us (your Senior viewers...wait, am I a SENIOR!?) to bump up (or slow down) our effort! I am 70 years old, 113 lbs and in pretty good shape, healthwise. Today I did 2,567 steps during this workout - but more importantly, it got my day off to a great, energized start! So, till tomorrow....

2,493 steps I’m 66 yrs old and in the warm weather I ride my bicycle about 10-12 miles a day so I do different videos during the cold weather. I love your video I feel so energized when finished. Thank you

i dont know about anyone else but my goodness i felt like giving up after 8 minutes. I walk every day almost 5 miles up and down some good hills where i live and this still whipped my booty!! thank you for the workout, yes i did complete it

Thank you as usual for another great workout! I wasn't truly sweating until the pop up 🌟 part. I always wear my back belt for all my standing activities and workouts. Have been following your workouts for some time now and especially enjoyed this particular workout with you. I used 2 lb. hand weights throughout the workout; burned 178 calories and hit 2,961 steps. I'm 69 years old and while I don't need to lose weight, I am intent on staying toned and strengthened. Your workouts are helpful in reaching my goal and I am grateful.
