- With the release of the second puss in boots movie, puss in boots the last wish, and seeing how popular it was, I was inspired to make a Shrek strength and power tier list. However I decided to milk this sh*t and just made a puss in boots tier list so I could do the complete shrek tier list later. HAHAHAHA, now subscribe to me so you don't miss the shrek tier list...

Funny thing about Death is that after Puss disarms him and he stares in his eyes death is yelling in Spanish about how he shouldn't play with his food. Basically death was only toying with puss and had he actually gone all out he would killed puss easily since you know he's death and can appear anywhere.
There are few characters in DreamWorks that would defeat death

@@Fogulis Puss says at the end of the movie that he cannot beat him, Death would have followed him until he killed Puss. Plus I'm not sure if he's including feats from the Netflix show because they do not line up with what he's capable of in the movies, might be wrong though.

Puss should probably be in the death tier but below death still. I know puss isn't able to live forever but he still did so much while being careless of his lives which all were wasted but if puss had more than 1 life left at the end of the movie than he would be more of a fighter than anything else.

Death didn't use any of his magic. As for why Puss did better the second time round, imo it's not because he got any stronger it's simply because he learned the value of his life and as such death had less power over him thus becoming weaker. Despite that however as i said, death didn't use any magic or anything and used pure melee to have some fun. Death would have still won if he actually tried.
He didn't get physically stronger, but he did fight better.
He didn't get weaker, he lost interest.
@@thorodinson6625 No, that's ignoring a big concept of why Death was even able to go after him in the first place. Death had no power over Puss when he had multiple lives because he had 0 reason to fear death. However after visiting the doctor and told he was on his last life, a LITTLE bit of fear managed to wiggle it's way in and as a result Death was now finally able to take on Puss and take him out for good. The more Puss feared him the easier it was for Death to chase him down. But by the end Puss learned the value of his last life, and while he still feared Death he no longer feared it as much as he did in the beginning. Death didn't become overall weaker, but when to came to fighting Puss he wasn't able to go all out anymore because Death had less power over Puss himself which is why Puss was doing much better at the end.

Actually if you look closer in the background in the scenes prior to the fight on the star you could already see it floating up its quite subtle and i only notice going to a theater when I could see the background more clearly.

But just something to add, we have deffinitly not seen Deaths full power as he didn’t use any of his magic against Puss in their fight (Like teleportation, illusions, and fire) + when he is cursing in spanish before he lets Puss go he says “Why the hell did i play with my food” confirming outright that he wasn’t going all out.

Shrek wiki is fan made. Whoever wrote that is a fan who ASSUMED it. Its most likely true, but in a universe full of magic and wishes? Who knows, maybe death itself (or at least the physical incarnation of the wolf) could be destroyed.

I agree a lot with this list, but in my opinion, Jack would scale above Kitty and Puss, he is just straightup too overpowered with his equipment, his defeat was also an Combined effort, as I would say he had an upperhand over all of them.
That's definitely possible. I think depending on the scenario any of them could win. You could argue Jack won't be stupid like the giant and kill himself like Puss set him up to do.
Not necessarily. Jack does have equipment, but he really relies on said equipment, as his fighting skills are not that great (for instance, his aim leaves a lot to be desired as he can basically only hit people standing still or travelling in a straight path, he has a bad habit of calling his attacks which led him being temporarily imprisoned inside his bag and he also tends to be too stationary when fighting). Also, during most of the film, Jack had the advantage of his opponents being distracted fighting other people and not prioritizing him.

I don't think Puss in Boots is as strong as many fans think. There were several instances where Pooh failed, was weak and exposed himself. Like when he lost his second life and was defeated by four dogs who lost at poker. The cat did not defend itself then and was defeated and killed. Another time was when he lost his fourth life because he couldn't lift a barbell (probably almost twice his weight) and then he was at his best. Therefore, the Cat is the second weakest Sword Master (after the giant, which he was able to defeat him earlier).
As for Anthropomorphic Death he has never faced worthy opponents and that is why he looks so imposing. The strongest character in the PiB and Shrek universe and the second biggest threat to the cat (after the hounds that tore him apart).
