Ah you did really well at resorts!!! That last hand suck you probably stack him or chop if there was a way to get it all on on turn and run it twice... gg nice trip
Yep :/ thanks for the comment!
Loved that hand with the trip Jacks 🎉💯
Yessirrr
At 13:00 you say “he doesn’t have any backdoor heart combinations” and he has Q6ss and there was no spade on the flop. HE SHOWED YOU lol
Its crazy in poker most of our losses dont come from coolers (aa vs kk) theyvcome from making bad calls on the river when you know aint no one bluffing
Totally
The A6 hand - just off the bat, you're getting 3:1 on a call on the river, so really don't need to find that many combos to make the call profitable. So now, what can the opponent have? Hands that beat you: KK (3 combos), KJ (6 combos), 77 (3 combos) - so only 12 combos that beat you. So we need to come up with 4 combos that we beat. So the question is, does our opponent ever have Kx of hearts? Do we think our opponent ever overplays AJ? Are there any bluffs? I think Kx of hearts is pretty reasonable for a raise because you can have QJ, JT, J9s, maybe even AJo sometimes. AJ most players aren't going to raise that, so if this player is anything close to decent count that out. So the question is: are there any bluffs? It's tough to find bluffs because most of the hands bluffing on the flop would be heart draws, and those aren't bluffs anymore. T9 of spades is maybe there but probably a give up on the turn because every hand you call flop with now has significant showdown power.
So razor razor thin, but I think this is actually a fold. Unless your opponent is just bluff happy.
Great analysis, I completely agree
Where in Nj you from?
Hey @AcePoker444
Sorry about the unlucky runouts!!
Did you grow up in New Jersey, or did you grow up further west? You seem to have a more general American accent rather than the "typical New Jersey accent".
Born and raised in jersey! Yeah I don’t have too much of an accent
Perfect chance for some chat play, just look over at him and say "Did you get me again?" And watch him react, can you use some sound effects when you Hit rainbow 🌈 board and maybe play a hand where we don't get to see your cards until the end? Everybody is a genius with cards face 👀 up
Yeah 100% I love this idea
5:49 he had KA os you can see his hand
I can't handle the stress.I tend to overbet and blow them off their weaker holdings cuz I hate seeing annoying cards come out.Good read tho, he did have K J haha.
Hahah yup
Now I know what a drive by shooting looks like. Yeah, I put the guy on pocket 7’s instead of king/Jack off suite. Im still in shock with queen/six hand. What a complete douch. Nice work, Ace.
Hahaha thanks man
What does king/Jack off suite mean? It means you are a Mongoloid.
Gotta love those suck outs. Had Snowmen in the BB during my last session, had 5 limpers so I bumped it to up to 30 bucks, got one caller from one of the limps. Flop came 282, He checks I bet small, he calls. Turn is a 7, I bet small again, he calls. River is another Deuce. He checks, I decided to try and squeeze another small amount from him and he jams. I can't figure out what he came along with after calling a raise preflop and I decided to make the call, I only lose to a deuce. He shows 72 offsuit. He was never folding bottom set and was behind almost the whole way.
@@TheDestroyer1250 - That's what you get for riding snowmen in Vegas. It's 110 out there.
@@blake_lively_matters6553 I wish I was in Vegas. This was at a casino here back home. 2000 miles from Vegas.
KJ clubs is the only combo of KJ he should have, some hands you're just going to lose and this is one of them. You shouldn't have folded, you can't be results oriented.
It’s always always always KJ when played that way. Always!
Would you be folding 77 or 33?
Wow that AQ river bet… it wouldn’t even be a nitty fold, trivial ck/fold
Yeah agree
I have the exact same bracelet. I inherited it from my father I'm curious if you know what yours cost?
Not sure. Inherited mine from grandpa as well
He rolls over a Q 6 spades, he says, after playing 9 5 spades.
Looking at, if you do go bigger for value on the river, I think even as low as 280, gets a jam out of this guy and makes finding a fold so much easier. Bet folding for value is finding the smallest big bet that will trigger the jam for value and be easy to lay down when it happens. And still big enough to make good value from hands calling that we beat. You're doing just fine my guy, it was a sick suck out at the end, but the call is gonna be good against this guy in the future (assuming your read about him being capable of bluffing is the real deal and assuming you run into him again).
Yeah totally wish I could’ve bet a size where he jammed
Yeah, '....will trigger the jam for value and be easy to lay down' - that's usually when they choose to show the bluff.
A6h hand. I think your River sizing is right for my game. I think the River raise is a clear fold unless you have 77 or better. I think that’s a clear Rivered boat. The only question is which boat. Very few players in my game bluff into a paired board with 3 of the same suit showing.
The A6 hand never should have MADE it to the river. You turned your nut flush, time to prevent any dreamers from rivering you into the sorry mess you found yourself in. Turn the flush, jam and settle for the bird in the hand instead of an extra hundred or two (or three) you might get by giving him a shot at seeing his river card come in.
@@blake_lively_matters6553disagree, he has $1000+ in stack lol I’m never jamming $1000 after a bet of less than $100😂
@@AcePoker444 I agree. It’s unlucky villain got the boat. It’s a mistake to call the underbluffed River.
@@AnimePokerTX - Well then, you will no doubt continue to allow villains to see additional cards cheaply instead of bagging a pre-river win, though smaller. Every time you win chips in a hand, you leave your opponents with less ammo to come at you in the future. The pressure mounts, they panic. Soon they're shoving on any two hole cards, just like in tournaments where the big stack bullies the table.
@@AcePoker444 - Then you will continue to get beat down by J-K off.
Do you always sit in the same seat?
Yeah I always try to get the ends for best view of the table!
That King on the river was simply a cooler. Keep your head up. I vibe with your passion and I know you will be headlining on HCL soon.
Yessir! 🙌🏽
Is calling with A6hh gto approved? Probably should 3 bet. Other than that, you got coolered. It happens.
Sick intro I love it
Thanks bro!
Lol how on earth is c/r turn with the nut flush unorthodox?
On a paired board
@@AcePoker444 I don’t think c/r on paired board with a nut flush is very out of line, especially vs a Recreational, just have to bet/fold correctly on the river
4:33 “ I don’t know if I should bet thin here. I think it’s super nitty to check back.”
listen know what you’re saying. Those are too opposites.
Subbed :)
When you gonna be in AC bro ?
Never, only place to play is Borgata and I’m banned because their management blows dick
The KJ hand is clear fold. As you mention, he has no bluffs on river. You abandoned check folding.
He raises preflop and continuation bets flop. That makes sense for KJ. His bet on turn and just calling check raise on turn suggests KJ. The call specifically instead of reraising turn. And then huge river bet. His betting line screams KJ.
You also lose to 77 which he could play this way.
Your mistake is overvaluing flush. You say you are looking to cooler trips and then can’t get away from that idea.
New sub 😊🎉
Appreciate it!!
3:43 you also lose to 97 dude. You forgot that.
I’m folding that K river vs the raise
There are two J and 3 K in the deck, so 6 combos of KJ, 3 combos of KK, and 1 combo of JJ. You also say he’s splashy, and 77 is a standard open HJ+, so idk why you’re discounting that combo.
You’re getting good odds on the call, since you only have to take it down a little over 25% of the time, but that still means he has to be bluffing 25% of the time. What bluffs could he have here? Unless you’ve seen him do this before, I would never assume he shows up with random cards on a paired/flush board. As you said, he very likely just calls with weaker flushes and Jx. I can’t think of any good bluff candidates on this board, especially since you hold the Ah. I think I’d even rather call with the K high flush, since you’d block boats and it’ll give him some bluffing combos… though idk if this player has shown that hed be capable of finding those bluffs.
This is good analysis, love the comment
