    Its supper annoying to play with old mans in the table, they’re nitty, frustating when someone out flopped them when they have Aces, KK- which we know they have bc how nitty they are, then they cuss on people for calling their 3-bet when we explain to them we have a good price to set mine, they are horrible people

    Sam, the set of fours you got when you came back from the bar. Do you think if you just did another continuation bet of 60-75 instead of 110 on the turn, you could' brought him further in the hand? Being he followed post flop? And got a little more out?

    the 4way pot with KJs (min 35) is a typical casino low stakes situation. With the experience I learned that the best solution is fold, and fold, and fold again, unless some particular situations (oppo drunk or tilted, oppo that wants to reload because is short, etc.). From time to time you will get shown JT or T9, that's true, but I think in most of the cases you are dead or almost dead...

    • @BluffaloSam
      @BluffaloSam  Před rokem

      Yeah, tough fold after seeing such a great Flop in such a bloated pot. But yeah the default there should just be to fold.

      You just know deep down that you're never good, and I stopped myself from calling when I know that. "If you got it, you got it." Is horrible on your winrate

    QTdd: Villain played this hand fairly well from the flop to the river, considering his stack size. It seems you have the best hand, but he set himself up for a pot sized river bet using a tiny turn bet and then followed through with the jam after the board became more scary. What does villain bet here that is not ahead of you? QJ will probably bet the turn, but will most likely check the river. Possibly a flush draw, though that blocks many of your folds.
    KQcc: "Flop is 642. This is gonna miss everyone." *gets shown 22* This flop misses you, not everyone else. I just check this flop MW and hope for check through and a club turn.
    44: Villain is supposed to donk this flop 60% (if we assume he has a wide range, which I do). LOL. That's happening.
    That dealer should not have called villain's hand dead. He had not mucked, and it was still obvious which cards were his. The dealer should have just moved your hand to the muck.
    AKo: This was a turn raise. I call a turn raise when it brings a backdoor flush, unless I know villain would never bluff.
    KK all in: WP
    KcJd: Bad fold imo. Don't make your flop decisions purely based on blockers. There are so many bluffs villain can have that do not contain the Jd, including straight draw combos.
    KJhh: So why did you size up in this 5-way pot? I'd just bet small here because anyone can have any set and there is really only one good draw (T9).
    33: I would have been pissed and probably gone off on the OMC clock caller.
    QJhh: I think this was played fine. When you raise, do you beat over half the hands that call? He might call with AA. Does he call with AK/KQ? Is he sophisticated enough to understand calling with a heart?
    88: Seriously, what happened to "I'm not going to bet the flop big anymore multiway"? lol I bet this one tiny. Like the KJhh hand, anyone can have you dead (or nearly) here. SB is calling you either way with the gutshot and nut overcard (obviously). Betting larger just makes the calling ranges stronger.

    • @BluffaloSam
      @BluffaloSam  Před rokem +1

      QTdd: yeah, could probably find a fold here tbh.
      KQcc: I didn't think anyone could have a set here with my preflop sizing tbh, thought they'd be capped at JJ here.
      AKo: I just don't see a flush draw not jamming on the turn here
      KJo: I don't know if I can call this with someone behind, calling all KJx here seems a bit too wide
      KJs: I shouldn't have bet so big on this flop, was thinking about setting up a turn jam.
      QJhh: He doesn't think about blockers, I think we do beat over half his hands, he probably does hero it off with AK/KQ/AA
      88: Yeah definitely a mistake here.

      @@BluffaloSam great comments. I would be careful when discounting pocket pairs. Low limit players call with pairs a lot. Even solvers suggest calling with pairs more than most other hand types. Against three bets, solvers often call nearly 100% of their PFR pairs.

    Such a dry board on the Q422. I think u are better here going for flop check raise and eval the turn, rather than bet, bet OOP. If you already had villain on a somewhat tight range, this is a board that he will have a hard time finding a fold. BEST VLOG EVER BRO!

    Idk if your that much of a nit or jus a new poker player brotha but you are only calling with nuts or second nuts. Any time you make a flush over flush unless it’s raise reraise before you put any chips idc I’m calling. It’s hard to get flush over flush. If they got it they got it. Idk if it was this or the other video where you folded flush for 200$. It could be sets two pair. Folding pocket jacks preflop. Loosen up a bit if not ppl will see your videos and stop giving you action.

    • @BluffaloSam
      @BluffaloSam  Před rokem +1

      The people that I'm making these folds to, aren't giving action to me anyways. They're massive nits. I'm not calling all ins pre against a range that is KK/AA only. I'm not calling with flushes when someone's donk range is only full houses, these aren't regs that bluff, these are nits that won't even put in a bet with a flush on a paired board. I think live reads like this at low stakes are enormous for your winrate.
