  • The people of Galilee were shocked that God would allow some of their kinsmen be murdered, but Jesus told them they were astonished for the wrong reason. In this sermon, R.C. Sproul continues his series in the gospel of Luke, encouraging us never to take the mercy of God for granted.

This is so edifying. Yet another great reminder of how entitled of God's Graces I could be during difficult times.

This reminds me of some ministers, today. They lie and say that Job suffered because of his sin; however, nowhere in the Book of Job is it stated that Job suffered because of his sin. TBT

I always confuse the God's justice and His grace.

If God allowed His son to be attacked verbally for years and then allowed Jesus to be beaten and crucified, who are we to be spared? Think about it then cowboy up!

Because the Son submitted himself to the Father and brought about the salvation of God's people. Now repent up, and you will be one of God's people too.

I agree with you, Carol. In as much as we suffer with Him, we shall also share in His Glory. Also, if the world hated Him, it will also hate us. 😉✝️

You are talking the same thing the chief priests and teachers did while Jesus was crucified and mocked during when He was on the cross. You don’t honour God’s miracle, mercy and grace. Unless we repent, we would perish.

@Aragorn333 You did not understand at all what I said. If Jesus suffered as he did, then who are we as Christians to expect anything less. Jesus said, "If they hated me, they will hate you."
