Action Alert! Tell Your Legislators to Reject Any Cuts to Funding for Disability Services

In May 2024, Governor Newsom will announce his May Revise budget plan for the 2024-25 year. His budget proposal includes a $1 billion delay in funding for disability services. If passed, the delayed funding will have a devastating impact on individuals with developmental disabilities and their families who are already having difficulty accessing services due to a historic workforce shortage of direct support professionals -- the people who deliver support services to individuals with disabilities.
