Depends on the companies. Some need to be there because of geography. Others don't. It is more than slightly obvious that a lot of wealthy people are moving to Vegas to the point that doing so is ultra expensive.

Your main problem is to many Dems in office. Vote them out. Put Rep in and in eight years , California will be whole again. This means all Dems have to go. You can't have Dems and Rep working together. The Rep will try to save money and the Dem will spend all the Rep saved.

I am in the UK. Taxes are ridiculous here and the benefits for the poor are such that many cannot afford to work! The benefits are greater than potential wages or salaries. So we, the hard working public are subsidizing the unemployed who live in ever increasing filthy slums brought on by drugs and booze resulting in a general breakdown of social behaviour which in turn, results in a high crime rate. That means more police for which we, the hard working public pay for. And so it goes on and on and....ON
