Nicole Adler is a motivational speaker, actor, and equal rights advocate for the developmental disabilities and LGBTQ communities, women and immigrants. Since 2014, Adler has been a Governor appointed member of the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD), a board member for The Next Step Program, and was recently on the advisory committee for California’s Disability Thrive Initiative. Adler partnered with the California Department of Public Health on the announcement of COVID-19 vaccines, and co-hosted The Arc of California’s statewide Public Policy Conference. She a passionate advocate for inclusion, acceptance, equal rights, mental health, voting accessibility, disability representation in the media, housing rights and ending the R-word. San Francisco Bay Times Eve of Pride Drinks & Diva Event with Nicole Adler
One of the great perks of being a Community Grand Marshal for San Francisco Pride is being able to join all the amazing celebrations and meet really cool people in the LGBTQIA+ community. I was invited to speak at the San Francisco Bay Times "Divas and Drinks" Eve of Pride party on May 31. It was amazing! I got to meet some of the other SF Pride Grand Marshals and had a chance to share my views. Here is a short clip from my speech. Thanks for watching and for being part of a LOVE REVOLUTION! It is true she made made lotta changes in this world. She helped me through a lot in my life and still does even though she is gone she is the best poetry teacher I could ever ask for. She’s also my princess and means the world to me and although she’s gone, her music still stands, and I am still a fan. So true she did display the real her she didn’t do what other singers do in which they simply just pretending to be someone they are not hence why she is my idol today and I’m 24 years old and loves her since I was 13 I chose Sinead and I don’t regret it either she was the best idol I could’ve ever asked, for she is my poetry teacher, and always will be
