When Ripley strokes the picture of that old lady and says "baby"
It hurts.
Bill paxton aka hudson is so underrated. He portrayed the emotions of we as the viewers and those sorrounding him in the movie. Aliens is my favourite film of all time.
Definitely don't think he's underrated. Most comments recognise his brilliance.
Rest in peace Bill Paxton and God bless Bill Paxton he will be forever rememberd as Hudson the coolest marine for helping the rest of his team and Ripley and Newt escape from the Aliens and God bless Sigourney Weaver as Ripley and Carrie Henn as Newt Both of them will forever be remembered as the coolest actors in Aliens (1986) the greatest sci-fi action and horror movie ever created and directed by James Cameron as well amen.
It certainly was the greatest sci-fi, horror, action movie. Still is number 1, even today, March 10th 2024.

Yeah i agree. I own several copies of them...vhs, dvd, blue ray..bix sets...posters..even playin cards..yeah..im a nerd..
And god bless the xenomorph! Finally a species that can rid the galaxy of the scourge of humanity....
I absolutely love the way Sigourney pressed the question again, " Do you have any news about my daughter?" I just don't like for people to beat around the bush.
"...we got knives, sharp sticks..."
37 years of loving and rewatching this movie and I just realized 2 weeks ago what Hudson actually said. So hilarious. Mr. Paxton really had the very best lines in this epic 🧡
i thought vasquez had the best line in the whole movie @18:13 when she says we go back in there and we dont leave our people behind. 100% BADASS. After their whole squad gets wiped out she was willing to go back in there and rescue her buddies. 100% BADASS. Vasquez is by far the biggest badass in the movie its not even close.
There are some scenes here which aren't in the special edition:
16:55 Newt tries to escape the marines
22:45 Aliens break through barricades
27:25 Ripley finds Burke in the nest
Also, some scenes like when Newt's parents find the derelict ship, and the filming of the Sulaco interior have different music and ambient sounds.
Thats the true Directors cut..
Didn’t realize till now that it was Riply that told the company where the eggs were. And the company sent the colonists to the eggs.Ripley unknowingly doomed the colony.
The company already knew about the ship that’s why the Nostromo was diverted to find it as they had decoded the transmission and found it was a warning and why
Cain was put on board because they knew it would kill the crew
No charges were brought against Ripley because she knew about the company orders that mother displayed
After 57 years most if not all the people in the company that diverted them to the planet were either dead or dying
The order that was sent to the colony was sent by Burke after he heard Ripley talk about it and looked up the company records
Ripley had nothing to do with it the company was the responsible
I knew about Burke. But what was your source on it being company orders? Because I understood it to be company policy instead. That caused them to divert course. After mother received the repeating signal and only then started to decode it. As per the first movie on both counts.
@@FP194dude.., you are absolutely right👍
@@carolinawestern3875 How come nobody suspected Ash was a android? I recently saw a edited scene that wasn't in the original movie where Ripley asked Lambert had she ever slept with Ash, Lambert responded that Ash showed no sexual interest, that could have been a clue where Ripley suspected Ash could have been an Android. But the scene when Ash says a weird word regarding communicating with "Mother" Ripley like tripped out and laughed saying "your doing what with Mother'? (the computer)
@@FP194 If you're talking about the android that was Ash, not Kane.
These scenes should have never been deleted.... they giving amazing context to the movie...
Most of these scenes are in the uncut James Cameron version that`s been available on DVD for 20 years.
I do not understand James Cameron to make full CGI Movies only. Both Avatar Movies are still looking like sterile crap in comparison to Aliens and the Abyss. These titles are never getting old.
The Abyss doesnt hold up well imo
the 'experts' lol
It is cheaper i guess...
@@midnightblue1874, no. A film like Avatar is only possible with CGI. Aliens on the other is playing indoors most of the time and all the outside shots are mostly dark and gritty. So you can realize it with practical effects (same as with the abyss).
Thank you for posting this.
One of the greatest films I think anybody will ever see..shame that the studio..20th century fox completely fucked up the sequel alien 3.
Watch the directors cut much better movie
I am glad I found this channel. These videos prove the undeniable importance of great editing, & why it is so crucial in producing a great film.
The lander missile launcher deployment is way overkilled...
Величайший фильм. На все времена. Номер1.
Excellent film, je l'ai vus j'avais 6 ans, c'est ce film qui m'a donné l'envis d'etudier l'astronomie plutard!
No criminal charges because the company knew about the alien and diverted the Nostromo to get it
making the company responsible for everything
Superb ! Can't wait for ''PART 3''.
22:43 - Interesting! The banging noises from the xenos are even apparent in this scene. And the following deleted scene explains the second pair of turrets battling the xenos within the complex. The aliens have in fact breached the tunnel door in the basement. That puts Bishop crawling the narrow pipe (too narrow for the adult aliens) and Vasquez giving him a handgun before, in a new and logical perspective. That also pretty much aligns with Ripley's notion, that the tunnel is the only way the aliens could move back and forth between the complex and atmosphere processor.
They did not breach the door they just found another way in . Like when they crawled along the ceiling to get past the sealed door to operations
@@FP194 There were no other ways into the complex for the aliens, only through the tunnel. Ripley even said so.
The xenos have later discovered the crawlspace to pass the barricades the survivors have errected/repaired around the operations office and med lab. The xenos were already in the residential area by that time, but outside the barricade, as the last defense line. Also when the banging against the tunnel door has stopped, Hick's immediate saying - the xenos are in the complex - wouldn't make sense then! Likewise the next scene with Vasquez handing Bishop a pistol and then Bishop crawling through a narrow pipe, as well as the following scene with the second pair of turrets fighting the xenos in a hallway.
In my view, it's an unfortunate editing error. Cameron should have left the banging noises in the used scene as well the short following deleted portion of it, when the survivors noticed that the xenos have breached the tunnel door and sneaked into the complex, entrapping them. This would have given a logical context for the following scenes, including the operations office assault. Without the "missing link", the audience questions how the xenos did enter the residential area of the colony in the first place.
Firing sound design AWESOME
I have the extended edition on dvd and the alien quadrilogy box set, and there are scenes I am seeing here that I havent seen before.
I do prefer the Special edition to the Theatrical release.
13:54 - Ripley: Shut up, Burke!
Kinda wish they kept it in it’s funny. But then people would say this movie is too campy with crappy oneliners. You can’t have both 😂
What did she give him in the end? He's one of the scummiest charcters in film
Genial!! Gracias por compartir 🎉
Love the alien movies. But if she only rescued Newt and escaped without messing with the queen (because in the end everything would still be blown to oblivion) she would have an easier escape, but then the movie would be a little shorter and less entertaining.
great stuff
Not deleted scenes. These are from the Director's Cut, the version without them is the Theatrical Cut.
which means that they were deleted from the theatrical cut
@@5wheels178 bur nothing new now, every version available is the directors cut as far as I've seen.
But here are some moments that are not included even in director's cut (list in other comments).
No, hay al rededor de 45 segundos que no aparecen en ninguna version!!! Asi que automaticamente se vuelve joya!!
@@pablomorales3674 Cuales, Pablo? Lo único que me pareció no haber visto es Burke en el cocoon.
So awesome!😍
This could've been the most terrifying Alien movie (hadley's hope) ever more than 100 people
read the graphic comics called Newt's Tale, it covers the xenomorph takeover.
January 1991 a bunch of army candidates in a MEPPS hotel watched this on broadcast tv one of the best viewings of dozens
5:49 that boy on the 'Big Wheel' is gonna be in Alien: Romulus
I cant tell if you're joking or not but itd be great if you werent
Some of this scene was removed but not all.
But thanks for your work!
I just noticed the cryogenic tubes scene apparently they used helicopter engines behind them you can see the wooden pallets they are stacked on
What people? "Terraformers, we haven't heard from them for six months, so we know there's no problem".

Nice.
Never realize the captain from RED DWARF 👾was in this movie.
Mac McDonald
I've met lister and criton. Lister was a wanker, but criton was a very nice man and talked to me about my artwork for a good 20mins. Robert was a good man and Craig was a complete piece of s**t.
Nut hubiera sido una buena nueva Ripley, un buen reemplazo
Хороший ролик!
all the fight and survival in aliens nullified in alien3
"THIS TIME,ITS WAR"
WOW!!!

Did she just give him some gum for his breath?
And then some "suits" gave the go ahead to Alien 3...
Wow, is Henriksen young. Ri-ley is so bad ass, but her hair - yuk! It looked great wet, but even in the late 80s/early 90s, I thought it was old people looking. Such a great movie, I remember being scared put of my gourd watching it the first time.
Hoo laid them eggs on the original ship?
That story was supposed to be told with Prometheus, and we all see how that turned out
👽
Cutting out the couple of minutes with the colonists from the original seems pretty ill-conceived. For two minutes, you literally have breathed life into this place and really underscored the trauma and loss of the infestation.
I think it was FOX' fault, the movie was too long for them.
and killed all the mystery of what happened when the marines arrive.
@@5wheels178
Umm if you watched Alien what “mystery “ was there
That scene underscored the absolute horror and tragedy of what happened especially when you see the children and that is the only mystery
Were they taken by aliens and cocooned for face huggers or did their parents kill them to save them from that horrific situation
@@FP194 I don't need to see terrible acting from a bunch of extras to be spoonfed the idea that women and children died on Acheron.

Why in the world would drake say to let newt go and who cares?! She’s the only living person they came across on the entire planet! Thank god they cut that cause it makes zero sense!
Maybe he thought there would be other adult colonists walking around and didn't see the point in bothering with a kid? I dunno really just a thought

Only lovers left alive and end of watch please
This awesome and Amazing! Don't remember Newts family an what happened to them. Can't wait to see the hole set!
Her Mother called the help, colonial team goes there and bring back them and some eggs,
Her father died of Chesbursting process but alien queen escaped in that process, she find the hidden place for Nest and layed many eggs which infected more peoples including her mother and brother, she escaped from Alians and found by Marine team
This cuts are not deleted. Still Freakin ETALON !
Some are. There are moments not included even in director's cut version (and for good IMO).
I wish Jean Cleaning would’ve been added to the movie it would have given more insight and made it more dramatic
Superfortress
Corsair
Mitchell
Lincoln
Out of focus. Get some glasses.
🚭....🆗
It's called the "Directors Cut"....
There are no "Directors cut" from Aliens, only special edition. This restored version include scenes, what are not in special edition.
@@allsortofmovies I do own the original DVD “Directors Cut” edition of Aliens… Its a original version directly from US and it has all these fragments in it. I bought it from a videostore when they went out of business. So that version does exist, at least here in the Netherlands…
@SonyStudioPro There is no official director's cut version. James Cameron has not cut another version of the theatrical version. In 1991, the Special Collector's Edition, later known as the Special Edition, was released for VHS distribution. This version contains 18 previously unreleased scenes.
In 2009-2010 Special edition was released in digital format, certain distributors released Special edition version as Director's cut, in practice, this version is a Special Edition, only 3-4 existing scenes were corrected from the VHS version.
These released versions do not have Hicks' commentary scenes, Burke's cocoon scenes, or Newt's escape scenes
@@allsortofmovies Is there a version with all of the scenes in this (incredible) compilation? Where did you get the Burke cocoon scene?
THIS PLANET WAS CALLED LV142 AND SEGORNE WEAVER WAS RIPLEY IN THIS MOVIE AND THE LITTLE GIRL WAS NEWT IN THIS MOVIE AND SHE DIED IN ALIEN 3 AND SEGORNE WEAVER WANTED AN AUTOPSY ON NEWT TO FIND OUT IF THERE WAS AN ALIEN INSIDE OF HER BUT THEIR WAS NO ALIEN INSIDE OF HER BUT THEIR WAS AN ALIEN ON THE SPACE SHIP AND IT KILLED ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO WERE ON THIS SPACE SHIP AND IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE CALLED ALIEN 3 😮
maybe go back and rewatch 3, it was.. mid.
Actually, Alien3 was the worst in the series with Alien4 Resurrection as second worst…
@@SonyStudioPro Covenant was worse.
@24:48 lol
Why thers again anorher yet horse shoe like ship stranded on this pkanet ? How ling is it been there already? If recently then main radars would of detected such massive thing right? Also if that thing was sitting there already before humans landed then the aliens would have crushed them ages ago..dosnt make sense..
It's the same ship. In the original alien they weren't able to see it on radar they honed in on the beacon.
They only picked the beacon signal while in space. Traditional radar, only surveils a close 360° view.
afaik the idea is that the ship was far away from where the colonies were. LV-426 isnt a small body: it has near-earth gravity, and the ability to retain a breathable atmosphere. Original 'Alien' script says 1200km across, which would give a surface area of about 4 million km sq, or twice the size of Greenland.
Watch the movie ALIEN and you will learn many things
No Timmy daddy did not know what he was doing.
Burke being cocooned scene is awful. Poorly acted by Paul Reiser. No wonder the scene was removed !!! Awful acting ! lol
