I loved this movie, even went to the theater to see it. I really liked the imagery from outside the ship, with the star field in the background and the Cygnus lit up like a giant greenhouse. Yeah it was nothing compared to Star Wars or the stuff made today, but to a 12 year old kid, it was awesome!!!

Ripley was a great leader.

Love the visualisation of the deleted airlock scene, that was really impressive. I always felt like there is a whole section missing between the 'Ripley takes charge' scene and where she was in MOTHER, and the mystery of her random nosebleeding. Although had they included it in the film, it probably would have ruined the later reveal of the creature during Parker and Lambert's death. So it's quite a dilemma whether this sequence should have been in the film at all. It's still crazy how much of the film's footage remains unseen. Also Lambert's actress did a phenomenal job portraying the panic and stress.

I have a suspicion that there is at least another 30 minutes to this film that nobody has ever seen on the big screen and that besides the directors cut.

I wished in the remake they would have slightly updated the displays to show more detail. Also to show what the alien transmission (warning) looked like after being decoded. And as for the MUTHUR (Mu/Theta/Ur 6000) AI unit. A slightly modded display on the screens showing Dallas the decoded transmission, the directive that sent the Nostromo to LV-426, whoever at Weyland Yutani signed off on it, (Like Carter Burke did later in Aliens) and the directive programmed into Ash. It would have made an already tense situation a lot more unsettling and would show the lengths that Weyland Yutani would go to obtaining either Engineer technology, the Xenomorph, or both.

ABSOLUTE PROPS for having this up on CZcams! I don't why they never released all of these additional scenes on bluray! It is SO NICE seeing all this additional footage! The cutting room is man's WORST INVENTUON!

That's a pity that this movie is forbidden in Brazil. We can't see it. We must buy a DVD.

It happens often in deleted scenes you wonder why they took them out. And... it's the same here ha ha. It must tough doing the final cuts! Time limits really do impact the decisions. As for the very end, what happened to Bormann is not so clear. Nor even for Himmler BTW.

A very very extra merry Christmas. Sonny sure was very generous when it came to rewarding those who helped him. So much of character reveal in just a few words. Sad that this scene was also deleted.

Continuity error in this? Paulie is in the car asking Rocco to move to the other side which means he has his suspicions but then in the next frame he is shown coming out of some building( his home?) and joins them and they are discussing that it has taken him a lot of time.
