Binge away! :D I was wondering if the process stuff was good, or too boring if people just want to get to the end of the timelapse :p I guess for now, process notes stay!
You sir just got my subscription. I was just scrolling as your video came up and I must say I am impressed with your work and may have looked through a few more vids on your channel, keep up the great work :)
I came across your channel earlier today and really liked your videos. So I subscribed :) The giveaway is a nice bonus and man do I wish I had the skills to full-art-ify my cards. Keep up the good work
I really love altered art cards like this! One of my friends got an altered "Full" Brimaz and it just looks totally great. I hope you will keep up the good work :)
I have a friend who is going to alter some of my cards, so we can sell them and split the monies. I'm definitely showing him both of these videos. Thanks for the tutorials!
I loved the blends, couldn't even tell the difference from the real art and your artistic touch. Winning that card would be crazy cool, I'd be sure to let everybody know who the mastermind behind the artwork is!
Sweet alter, I tried to do one myself a while back and it looked pretty appalling. Seeing this video and your other on just starting out has convinced me I should go back and keep trying. I don't want the card simply because I don't do much of standard (I'm a draft and EDH man) but just wanted to tell you how awesome it is that you're posting videos like these. Keep up the good work!
The whole video I was wondering what you were going to do with the rough edges! This looks neat, and I'd like to try it at some point. I already made a blank foil and feel pretty accomplished.
Thank you for this tutorial and the other one I've been looking to get into altering the arts of some cards in my collection and then practice doing that on those to start making my glistener elves really cool
Awesome tutorials on the altered art. I know what you mean by color matching, I did a defiant strike once and that card was insanely hard to color match the reds and the browns, same with lagonna-band trailblazer. It was also really helpful to know the information on the thickness of the card, I have gotten some interest in people getting cards off of me and it would be good to take into consideration tournament rules for card alteration as I hadn't really read anything online about it before. Finally the matt finish was a problem that I noticed but haven't bother with sine these cards usually end up in a sleeve anyway, but I know for personal aesthetics if I have a problem with it, anyone who gets these cards will eventually too.
Also, when you spray the card with a matte spray youre creating more tooth on the surface so help the acrylic stick to the slick cardboard. Great tutorial!
Damn, you got me good there. Now I really want to try altering cards myself, already seen your beginners guide. And damn I am totally going to try that Thank you alot. :)
NOOOO! Im too late :P Just saw your video bud. The card looked great. Honestly I came in a skeptic. I hadn't seen anyone do this before, and I was blown away with the finished product and quality. Keep up the good work.
Man, unreal work. Love this. I've never tried an alter before, but this definitely makes me want to give it a go! Great channel, doesn't get nearly enough attention! Keep it up! PLEASE!
MTG Degree what Ι wanted to know was if there is if the synthetic will stick good enaugh on the card surface and wont cause any bad reaction so the card will worthless cause of deformation and stuff, jst wanted to know if anybody tried, just dont want to give my mkney for something that wont work properely, anyways, thanks for respond . . .you are doing some dern serious cool job over there, keep it up!!!
Wow great work, I've seen alters before but didn't really appreciate them but once I watched your tutorial I appreciate them a lot!! It's such a beautiful art style, especially for one who loves magic art like me. Although I'm not good at art so I could never dream to make alters as well as you, but I'm wondering if I'm allowed to play with altered basic lands in tournaments, if so I'd possibly want you to make me them and I would pay you in some fashion. If not that's okay I just really like your work!! Great job I'm glad I'm subscribed because I really enjoy your content and personality
I think I will pick up a set of those brushes you are using and the matte spray I have wanted to try my hand at doing an alter now I just have to find the card to alter first.
Man i am a artist and new to magic. i just found out you could paint your cards and my love for magic go from 100 to 1,000,000. not good at it yet since its much different than paint on a canvas but your videos help :)

I love how there's just this 13 minute continuous jazz piano solo going on the whole time. Loved the video though really nice job on the alter!
I dig the channel, never thought of doing this with my own cards. But I can appreciate the hobby approach making it your own artistic expression
Really love the tutorials, and awesome work on that extension.
This definitely makes me want to try and alter on my own, thanks for the tips!

Luke, you make this look so easy! I've finally collected all the materials and will be trying my very first alter on a land of some type.
+William Watson Nice! :)
That's pretty cool. Always liked altered art cards. This video makes me want to try myself.
I have a friend who is going to alter some of my cards, so we can sell them and split the monies. I'm definitely showing him both of these videos. Thanks for the tutorials!
Hey mtg degree!!! Beautiful alternate art! You really made me want to extend the art of my cards.
I so wish I had a talent like that, I love it!
The whole video I was wondering what you were going to do with the rough edges! This looks neat, and I'd like to try it at some point. I already made a blank foil and feel pretty accomplished.
the music you use for this makes these videos very calming haha
I just started altering Ive got 15 years comic art experience, and thought this was fun. Ty for the tutorial I think it will help me in the future.
I always liked the art on Valorous Stance and this makes it look even more awesome.

Just amazing how you have made those clouds

+Wish Bone Great idea, good luck on your alters :)
Wow, nice work. also thats one of my favourite cards from FRF
Amazing art.. I'm going to get into this hobby
thats the best art work i have seen in my life even better then wizards
Looks great! For me the hardest part is matching up the colors so that they match with the ones on the original art
If this is intermediate then i can't imagine how great the advanced one will be. I cant wait!
Awesome tutorials on the altered art. I know what you mean by color matching, I did a defiant strike once and that card was insanely hard to color match the reds and the browns, same with lagonna-band trailblazer. This is awesome, I love it!
This is very VERY well done and very creative, although i fear you may... just MAY.. not 100% but, may be accused of being a geek :) Great work!
Love the card, I love how you did the clouds
love this! really wanna learn how to do this as making full art tokens would make your deck that bit more unique.
Also, when you spray the card with a matte spray youre creating more tooth on the surface so help the acrylic stick to the slick cardboard. Great tutorial!
More tutorials about this please, I wanna try it out but I don't have notions about this type of painting.
And yes I want it :D
This is pretty cool! Attention to detail separates good work from sloppy art.
This is a great video. I wish more people would do tutorial videos for altering cards. I'm starting to do it and have zero art experience.
Great boros tempo card in standard. Great work on the extension!
Damn, you got me good there.

MTG Degree Is it ok to use synthetic colors for this?
IKO Ledvina
I don't see why not. Let the imagination run wild, buddy :)
IKO Ledvina I just don't know the specific answer, since I haven't used 'em. Best of luck on however you choose to alter, though!
Nice video! By the way, I like the background behind you. Not too complex, not to plain :)
